I bought this the other day. This is my second Green works mower. We will see how it compares to my Troy Built gas mower the other mower wasn't close and is just taking up space.
So... I used it today and about half way through my mow I had to swap batteries. As far as the cut it's better than my Troy Built gas mower. As far as time it's pretty even. Due to having to wait for the self propelled function to disengage. Before moving backwards. I'd give it a 7.5. also the customer service of green works is not great I'd give cs a 3. My unit was delivered with a broken battery door. And I waited hours to get in touch with someone.
Yea a shame they discontinued that beast .. i think next year im going to use that one .. i used alot first year i got it .. actually sud a few of my propertys with it .. lets see if it's holding up
I’m on the fence. How’s it held up this past year? I’m in S FL paying $100/m for yard service on 1/4ac lot that has barely no back yard and a 2300sqft home. So really about 1/8 acre or less to mow
Going to a update video next week .. i dont kno if theres a better mower for money out there. Especially in 18-24v class .. y someone would spend 1100$ on the Milwaukee blows my mind
@@toolboss8410 I like ryobi mowers, but they tend to have a ton of problems. I own one piece of Ryobi OPE and it’s the 18” blower. It works well but the battery life is horrible and the cover that covers the battery broke off just from me opening it in the cold. I’ve had absolutely no problems with my GreenWorks equipment at all. And it’s also built a lot better. I’ll be getting the single stage Greenworks 60 volt blower soon and be selling my Ryobi 18” when the part comes in so I can fix it first. As far as Milwaukee I would never ever pay that price for a mower! It’s honestly not even that great. I think Greenworks, EGO and Toro is where it’s at right now in the OPE.
@@ajgreen868I’ve had the 18v ryobi tool line for 5yrs and they all still working great. Everytime HD has the 4ah batteries on sale I pick up the 2pk for $99
Battery life is atrocious on mine after less than a season. I'm getting less than 20 minutes per charge now. Batteries read different voltages when they're dead (18.5V versus 17.9V).
@@toolboss8410 yep. I believe my model has a 3 year warranty. I called today. Honestly not the strongest customer service interaction I've ever had. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that they had never used these tools and that they are doing customer service for multiple clients at once - that sort of thing. But supposedly I'll have a replacement battery in 5-14 days. No confirmation codes or emails or anything like that, so it's all on the CSR's word.
Me and my family own the 60V non self propelled version and man it does an amazing job.
Nice demo! I appreciate hearing the sound and seeing different levels over various types of grass.
Thanks buddy
Looks like a winner. I want one.
Your demo made me buy this mower, it's my very 1st mower and can't wait for the batteries to charge
👍👍👍👍
How was the mower, trying to buy this.
how was the mower. im looking into purchasing this mower now
That’s a nice lawnmower. I really like the usb built in the battery. I am wondering when the big tool companies are going to do that. Thanks
I wish the big brands would do that also for the USB built into the batteries
I know skil does put usb ports on there 12v line

Should have bought the 80v or 82v greenworks if you wanted gas like power.
Great video
👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙏
Looks nice I still like my Craftsman v60 mower, but am looking forward to the Milwaukee mower.

Thank you for sharing TB, any idea of how much times (give & take) before the batteries need recharging on this unit? 👍👍
Really depends on length of grass , type of grass. .. damp or dry .. i can tell you easily do 1/4 acre or normal cutting
@@toolboss8410 👍👍
Amazon has electronic coupons on Greenworks 24v power tools
Yes sir, 👍👍👍👌
Mine is older than 5 years old, but has 2x 40v batteries.
Good video @Tool Boss
Thanks buddy 🙏

One thing I don’t like about the 60 volt line, is they didn’t give the batteries room to grow. Other than that the tools have been fantastic for me!😊

Yea they should make a entire kine of ope tools with the 24v battery . From wackers and blowers to more advanced ope tools like Ryobi HP 40v line

Yo Boss!
Amos 👌👊👊👊🙏
Are these mowers only made for men. I attached the top handle, and as a woman the handle comes up to almost my chin
Yea probably unfortunately
👍🏻🍻🍺🐶
How many mowers do you have lol
30-40
