I got the skil for cheap in may from amazon. Traded in a gas mower in my county for a $100 gift card. I only paid $100 after all the discounts. It works great
@ TOOL BOSS Thank you for taking the time to give an update. I can’t agree more about the m18 mower’s stupid $ they’re asking for. I am in the platform as well as makita, been considering these two as well as the green works for sometime. Then I saw the Menards Masterforce 21 80v , another CZcamsr says this is a rebranded green works . Do you know if this is true and maybe the battery can be interchangeable with green works /kobalt. Any help is appreciated . My Toro is still running strong 20+ years later but I would like to try a battery mower
DO NOT BUY THESE MOWERS! Flimsy and break easily and GREENWORKS WILL NOT HONOR THE WARRANTY. I hit a 3 inch ball of wood with the blade and the gear drive broke apart. Greenworks called it customer misuse and says I'm stuck with a $600 paperweight because they won't sell or give me the parts to fix it. Tried to be very polite but the customer service guy just turned on me when he realized he was told he couldn't help me. What a horrible company.
I'm gonna have to see what Supreme Services has to say about this mower. You still da man brother! Appreciate you.

If you want to go with a 24 volt system go with Cobalt.

Anyone able to provide me with the height of the handle at its highest setting? I'm 6"2 and worried I will need to be hunched over.

Try calling up a gas mower company and provide the exact same story and see what they say.
