A few things I want to correct & mention:
Thank you for sharing the info , keep up the good work ✌️
I got the master-craft version none propelled. On sale end of season price 250$ it’s amazing and I got a decent size lawn. The two batteries I got with it charge almost as fast as it takes to discharge them. 4 batteries and two chargers keep you going none stop.
I looked at this but $700 for a push mower is too much. Bought a $300 gas Cub Cadet self propelled. My old Lawn Boy lasted 27 years. I don't believe a battery power one will last that long, especially with the number of batteries it would take.
Good info. I like how machine folds up. Easy storage over winter. Thanks Fill 💚
I'm into both the AK and AP battery lines, and I have a smaller yard, so I bought the RMA510. My yard is heavily treed, so there's always some sort of debris on it; leaves, small twigs, etc. In the fall we have tremendous leaf clean-up to do. Long story short, this lawn mower was a huge disappointment. It's vacuuming ability is virtually non-existent. It rolls right over most debris without disturbing it, where my gas mower would suck it right up. The blade speed is there; I think the problem is the design of the deck and, most importantly, the design of the blade itself. I really like my Stihl battery hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, chainsaw and string trimmer, but I sold the mower very quickly and am back to using my gas Honda.
thank you for video learned few things about mine i chose 510 over 460 Stihl dealer we deal with thru my employer through me a bone gave 510 with 2 batteries for price of the 460 stihl not v model . i was making a regular drop off of our mowers for work to be worked on i asked question told them i was using old sunjoe 17 inch mower 4 yrs old 2 batteries it runs fine just cracked deck to wear motor was i'd took piece scrap plastic epox a patch any how they cut me nice deal guess it helped they had our business for 3 decades now i hush the tips you gave were things never seen or thought to do to remove the blade i love eco mode it ramps up when tough grass only thing i wonder is about the key going forward hope it not suffer over heating issue like my sunjoe but i do love the feature cause we have grandkid who autistic my fear he would grab it hurt himself because of him we remove everything good safety feature the 510 has given old mower a new lease
I'm about to buy one of these for my mom.
Fill, thanks for the information and the Stihl reviews. I'm wondering after using the products for awhile now, how do you feel about the Stihl battery line? I've seen some jumps in Stihl's battery improvements, and considering a jump from gas to battery for the 2024 season. I currently use Stihl gas equipment so wanting to find others who have made the switch to Stihl's battery lineup like you have and get honest feedback on the products? Thanks in advance.
Super helpful video - thanks!
Question: which wheels are the drive wheels on self propelled models? Is it a front wheel drive or is it a rear wheel drive?
Hey Fill what's the difference between the ap300 & ap500 battery thanks Fill.
Like a Super Nintendo
Homebase has a sale buy an get an extra battery. Good?
Loved this video. I've been considering going with battery operated tools. Then I don't have to wait to go get gas. Also, they are quieter.
Hi Fill,
I’ve got the non self propelled version of this - I’m not happy with the clipping pick up - even a simple maintenance cut, I have to go over it multiple times or walk very slow to suck up all the clippings - do you find the same?
Awesome video fill
I've seen so many mowers that wouldn't cut and when i went to look at it they had the blade on upside down
Thanks for sharing the information.
