sdamn bro how havent you blown up yet? This was rlly helpful!!!! Also when i do the voyages there is just 1 flagship, no captain or second flag. Is it cuz of my level?
Hey thanks, I appreciate that! And yes, more ships would be greater difficulty so as you rep up and promote in Order of Souls you'll eventually get to the max number of ships!
When I do these, I do them solo so I end up getting surrounded and soon sink. Have you experimented with positioning your ship near rocks (if any are around) so that every angle of your ship is not vulnerable? I haven’t tried this nor am I sure they will even follow me. Thanks for the tips
The Ghost Ships stick to a static path around the island, so if there are any rocks in or near that path then I can see it working, but I have not tried that.
If that doesn't work as you'd like or are open to a different suggestion, try sticking to the outside or inside of that circle they travel on, at least that way you're getting slapped mainly, on one side. Another alternative would be to raise sails at the coast of the island for the same effect and also so that if you get blown off the ship, it doesn't sail away from you and you can just re board. Lemme know what works for you!

there’s a option in the setting to turn off the blur on the ghost loot, had to turn it off when i wa stacking sea forts, it got to a point where i literally couldn’t see the front of my ship lol

Hey man how long does it take to grind for the ghost captain sails on avg?
It’s really just gonna come down to how long it takes you to do them. And you only get one Captain Skull per voyage. Now if you’re maxed out on Order of Souls you’ll get more flagships to fight, but you can ignore them and go straight to the Captain ship, with the flagships I can get one done in less than 30 minutes, if you ignore the flagships; I could probably get it done in less than 20. So 50 Captain skulls at 20 minutes a pop, you could probably get it done in around 16 hours if you’re comfortable with the voyage, maybe less with a crew.

I get attacked by player Brigs almost everytime I do this voyage. Out of seven tries I was attacked 6 times. Do other players see the ghost ships or do they just see me shooting?
Yeah they can 100% see the ghost ships as well, they can even finish the voyage if you sink or run off.

How many skulls do you get on average?
To answer your question, around 11 reg ghost skulls and 1 Cap ghost skull (in this video I got 9 and 1) If you care about the meat I’ll go into detail, In the final wave we should have 2 flag ships which should drop up to 3 Skulls of the Damned, each, and 1 Captain Ship which when defeated should yield up to 5 Skulls of the Damned and 1 Captain Skull of the Damned. So we should end up with a max of 11 Skulls of the Damned and 1 Captain Skull of the Damned per voyage. I can probably knock 1 out in ~30 minutes while solo, netting at minimum and adjusting for the RNG: 20 SotD and 2 CSotD per hour.
I only get skulls when I sink the captains ship. Do you know why?
I've always gotten skulls from each flagship, so it could be because I'm maxed out in OoS or just really bad RNG.
I'm also assuming you're taking out the Flagships first before the Captain ship, and still not seeing skulls?
@@Itz_DesertFox wait so are the flag ships the ones next to the captain because I always sink those first and get crates from both then I sink the captain
Oh and also the first wave always has at least 4 ships with dark sails so idk if those are the flag ships or not
@@orangemonkey0724 The flagships will be separate from the captain ship, and do have darker sails, and the grunts have ragged sails. And if you're a lower level in Order of Souls you're going to get less loot than someone doing the same voyage at level 75, so it wouldn't be surprising to me if there weren't any Flagships to fight before destroying the captain ship.
So check your level, and also check to see if there are any promotions to buy from an Order of Souls rep!

When I did it I killed one of the captained ones and it just ended
The amount of ships is purely based on your level and or the promotion level of Order of Souls.
This voyage type becomes accessible at 25 and goes up from difficulty the higher you get.
There will be one ghost Captain ship with up to two flagships, if you pop the Captain before the flagships provided there are any, the voyage will end.
