Your comments about size inclusivity have really put the issue into perspective and made me think. I'm going to try to support more pattern companies with a greater size range whenever I can. Thank you!

I too am a curvier lady and I have found that Ellie & Macs patterns are available in a good size range. They have a couple of great raglan sleeved tops which I can highly recommend.
I find it really disappointing when you see a superb pattern then find the size range is really poor.

Tilly has never interested me. The patterns or the attitude. P4P, M4M, Love Notions and so many others are so underrated and have been far more inclusive for years. It is exciting that more independents are leading the way and nice that some of the more popular larger independent pattern makers are catching up. In particular Muna & Broad's (created by two women - one of color) plus size patterns are a wonderful complete capsule wardrobe created in one year! Fabulous. Cute photo in the raglans! I really am not drawn to kitschy fabrics but the penguins are truly fab! I am in full pj making mode! Here here!

I just bought the Willandra and Sculthorpe and waiting for them to arrive from the printer. Super excited to make them!

@@TheSpeckySeamstress I’ve just made the Sculthorpe with another cut out! They are a fab pair of pants! ❤️❤️❤️

I absolutely agree with Vanessa in the inclusivity of some other patterns is so much better! I’ve just gotten into George and Ginger and 5 out of 4 Patterns both of which go up to 5X! I use the Winter Wear Designs Parisian Nights pants for pj bottoms. They are made in jersey and soooo comfy! Better still it’s a free pattern! ❤️❤️

Really interesting vlog. I didn't know about the TATB sizing debate but will keep an eye on this going forward. I am planning to make some Frankie's and have been gathering up pieces of fabric to that end and really looking forward to mixing colour and pattern and so on. I already own that pattern but will check size inclusivity before getting another. Loved that coat on you, and the party dress/pinafore is a really interesting pattern. I keep seeing your bias in people's makes. I have some but am not that confident on using in garments. Would love it if you showed some quick sewalongs when you're next making something with the tape.

I have a series of bias tape tutorials planned, they should start to appear really soon :)

I've quit purchasing patterns that are out of my size range. There are enough companies now that have a larger size range that I don't have to buy smaller patterns and grade them up. Hallelujah! I don't resent companies that have smaller size ranges, but I don't choose to purchase from them either. One would think that they would find it worth the investment to expand into a wider size range, though.

I always love everything you have to say and while the size inclusivity issue doesn’t usually affect me I can appreciate the difficulties that people have. Would you consider talking about where you get your indie patterns and amazing fabrics from please? I know you very helpfully list them in each video but I’d love to see one dedicated to them, especially the funky fabric because it’s right up my street and I need to make (yet another) list 😂

I have teenage mutant ninja turtle pj bottoms... sometimes the kids patterns are just more fun.
