DiceFolk is one of my favorite games of last year. Absolutely fantastic design. Very rare for me to play through all of a roguelike's ascension difficulty modes but they made it SO FUN to progress through them by not only making it harder but building more power for the player. Super great design work here.

I also love that design! It's a nice challenge when ascension difficulty just makes the game harder on repeat plays, but I really like the addition of small scale power ups as well as it keeps runs feeling fresh and can change how your team builds fundamentally work compared to previous ascensions!
