The spiked buckler reflects the "attackers" str. So when you get hurt it reflects that same amount back to the enemy.

46:00 it's definitely doing the damage of the attacking chimera, to the attacking chimera. Your chimera is the defender, forcing the attacking enemy to hit itself whenever it hits you

Nah for real this is at least game number 8 that he’s put me on
@weatherboy2009 and then there is the Reto Curve. Where after you have the game you remember he is good at this. Circadian Dice and Poker Quest beat me up
@@leegoldberg2668 watching Reto play Hades (which I also got cause of him) actually made me better at it. Circadian Dice humbled the hell outta me.

Just wanted to let you know those trip faces on your dice which cause your lead chars a small amount of damage I believe do not need to be played. I would understand why you would think that would be the case and honestly makes more sense as a negative for getting more dice but I thought that might be helpful for future runs.
The trip was beneficial because the other dice got rerolled by it.
the spiky buckler says it deals damage equal to the attacker's strength, so it's making the opponent attack itself, seems better on units that can generate the guard/block.

Like 8 months ago when you first tried the demo, I could tell this game was something I'd love, and wishlisted it on the spot. It officially released yesterday, and today I already own it. Lol.

One of the things that really impressed me is how simple the mechanics of the game are, and how much they do with them. Always a good sign
Would love to see more of this. Dicefolk is such a neat little game and so unique in how it plays. Having to strategize both for your own team and the enemy is awesome. Plus all the aesthetics of the game (Art, monster design, music, etc) are also very well done and charming.
New viewer who found channel from amazing Goblin Stone series slowly working his way through all the recent playlists while waiting for new episodes to drop there lol. So far they're all great. Glad to find such a great content creator with similar game tastes to myself ❤

The random die chooses randomly(gasp) between attacking and rotating. If everybody but 1 is dea and the random die tries to rotate, it misses.

I dont know if you finally get it Retro; but I believe the spike shield reflects the attackers dmg (the one who attacks you, not your chimera itself) That been told, you reflected 6 dmg cause the enemy chimera had 6 power.

I really don't understand why they decided to limit chimera to one a zone. This game seems so interesting, but having to use the basic units for so long feels like such a bummer.
