for short daily commutes that makes sense. for me, it wouldnt. id be hauling around the extra weight of the battery after you go beyond those initial 20-40 or whatever miles. (fusion/c-max hybrid versus energi)
@@Sir...... How often do most people drive 1,000 mile road trips? Perhaps you're actually hauling around the extra weight of a gas engine, transmission, gas tank, evaporative and exhaust systems and catalytic converter, drive shaft, transfer case (depending on vehicle) and large radiator. Ford Mustang GT 2 door, 4 passenger coupe with V8, small trunk and 2 wheel drive- almost 4,000 pounds. Tesla Model 3 Long Range, 5 passenger, 4 door sedan with large trunk, frunk and all wheel drive- just over 4,000 pounds. And the Model 3 is quicker to 60 mph than the Mustang.
As retired Electrical Contractor a all wheel hybrid is not in my future. The tires on my all wheel lexus eats tires and front twheel hybrid on my 2024 is fine.
The front end of the 2025 is so ugly. The faux fog light feature looks like it would be a nightmare to clean the bugs out of the crevasses. Just my opinion.
I like the idea of all wheel drive for the hybrid Maverick.. but that front bumper going up under the headlights is hideous! The fog light is a great addition though..
Front looks ugly, very ugly. Looks like DIY addition. Better screen with 4.0 should be an option to begin with. I am sure Ford is going to charge arms and legs for AWD lariat hybrid.
Love the idea of AWD hybrid Mavericks, wish they kept the old front grill design or even offered a raised Tremor style AWD hybrid. A Tremor style AWD hybrid with standard cab for a larger bed would be my pick....but I might be in the minority there.
I just wish I could get the grill from a2002 ranger with a gas powered four wheel drive, but switches to two wheel drive with an electric motor- with a manual 7 speed transmission..
I haven't been following lately. When will ordering open up? I would like to trade one of my Mavericks on an AWD. Over 32K on mine and according to my Maverick I'm averaging 44.5 MPG and I could not be happier.
Me too. Ford is really proud of these things. They forgot their entire mission designing and building them in the first place as they became greedy. Typical.
Before I got my 2023 I would have wanted the AWD Hybrid. Now I would prefer a PHEV regardless of drivetrain.

Makes zero sense

Just a note love the 2025 Maverick styling

Thank you.for your input
Definitely need an AWD Hybrid Maverick for areas who have to deal with winter weather!
Thank you for letting me know not to wipe the back up camera with my finger. I was doing that because I didn’t know. I won’t do that again.
Thank you Tracy for taking the time to drop a nice comment
I wonder if they could eventually put that Plug-In Hybrid they have in the Escape.
Yep that's what this video is all about
my '23 fwd hybrid is sad :( awesome though that they're finally doing it.
22-25k small cab 6' bed base XL option please. Support solo driving small buisness owners who need a small truck too.
AWD Maverick Hybrid? Okay, price? MPG rating? Me, nope, sticking with my 2023 Hybrid.
Ok.

I look forward to covering that
I have a 24 hybrid, and Idk if it's in the works, but I think a hybrid with the 4k tow package would be awesome
It won't work but that would be great
@Johnnyscarcarereviews there was a 7 pin connector on that Hybrid AWD spy photo so it may have the 4k tow package.
No awd hybrid on existing trims. Only on new premium trim.
To come

Hey, I have a silver Maverick Hybrid truck! Come on Johny! :)
Howdy Russell. Your Maverick is stunning. I'd be torn on whether I trade it or not

New 2025 information this Thursday with when we can order date also likely released.
Oh, I’m excited for it
Same here. This will be awesome
Who cares about hybrid AWD if tow capacity is still 1500 lbs. That’s the bigger issue in for me.
For many
AWD Hybrid w/ 4k tow?
No 4k with hybrid
@@Johnnyscarcarereviews deal breaker
Haven't watched yet, but is it the Maverick Raptor we've all been waiting for?!?
No, lol but that would be very cool if the pricing was kept reasonable. It's the awd hybrid
I hate the new headlights. Ugly.
Thank you for the feedback
I cringe to think of what these things are going to cost🫤
