The person or persons who were charged with rolling out this app should be fired. What a fiasco.
Please have the fuel gage option back on there the miles to empty with no gauge to show is bad
While most app developers are busy making apps better, Ford is making things WORSE. Good job, Ford! Keep charging more for less.

Missing and used very often: Ability to add self serviced maintenance and receipts to service history, pro power on board, zone lighting, fuel gauge, ability to view owners manual, trailer lights viewing. Thank you for your videos and bringing attention to this.
Bring back the trailer light check now!

Oil life percentage
The oil life percentage is still on there it is for mine it shows 88%
Please return the features of the Ford app to its former self.
Rhe service history is there, but you cannot add your own repairs, oil change, air filter etc. also the VIN went away. I called to take care of a recall and couldn't find the VIN as it was before.
Seems like Ford should never have released the update until all the features were ready for release. Normal big business hubris. I had the old app just the other day & was going to wait, but apparently I had automatic update turned on sad to say. When I plug my iPhone in for Carplay, the Google map is all weird & I have to go in to setting to change my preferences each time. Oh well, anything electronic is going to be changed periodically, we all know that by now
They should have done that before offering the app from the beginning. It fails when you need it most.
I was offered the beta version 5.0 which I tried briefly but quickly bounced back to the previous version. Unfortunately, I was recently forced over to 5.0 and am entirely disappointed. I didn't have an option of not updating.
Bring back the fuel gauge, time stamp of last start, adding owner maintenance manually and warranty status
I was so upset that I updated the app. Fuel gauge, ability to add your own service records, and I used the manual even though it was not effectively deployed. Trailer lights would be a big deal, but I don’t use it with the new Bronco, but if I owned a newer F150 or 350 that would be a very useful. My 2018 F350 I need to do the walk. The service records and remote start are the major uses of the app for me.
The mileage
I was surprised that there are/were features available that I could use but wasn't aware of. Thanks Tim!
I tried to email them, they removed fuel tank status (has range but that's useless) and removed access to manuals and tire pressure/oil life not easy to find
I updated the app today and with this update I can see the picture of my truck that is being shipped to my dealer for pick up, that I have not previously seen on the app. I know, first world problems.
The new app is HORRENDOUS! Whomever was in charge of this update should be turfed. They took a bunch of stuff away and the location function generally doesn't work. Ford's app was already subpar to the likes of GM & Hyundai and now it's even worse! Why bother with an update if it makes things worse? Stupidity at it's finest!
Pro Power onboard needs to come back to the app along with trailer light check. Come on Ford.
Off topic. But is there any plan to upgrade the 2023 F150 with blue cruise to get the 1.3 upgrade?

Do I need to lock my Maverick???? I see it is parked, Not ON, and where it is parked, BUT did I lock it? I can press the button to lock it just in case I forgot. Could you highlight the status of whether it is locked or not?

My Lightning Pro standard range battery can't route plan utilizing eligible Tesla superchargers (more critical for standard range Lightning owners, especially if you tow). You can use both the FordPass and Tesla apps to navigate to nearby chargers, but you can't string them together to create a long distance route. As a work around, I use PlugShare on my home computer to route plan using both eligible Tesla and EA chargers, and then call up the route on my android phone via the PlugShare app when I'm on the road. I have the Lectron adapter in order to use the eligible Tesla superchargers since Ford can't get me the official adapter until September.
You can check your trailer lights you can do that on your SYNC SCREEN
Where is the extended warranty info that was in the previous version?
I think they said you need to go to ford.com under owner account information.
What a mess...my phone app seems to work ok but now my apple watch app won't connect...obviously FAILED to test thoroughly before release...

I can't find a way to know how long my car has been at its current location. Anyone know how to find this?

It was there under services and health but recently removed the services. It's going downhill fast.

I use the app t0 show my Vin when getting parts at the dealer, I can't do that with the new app. Very annoying.

@johndcunninghamjr4111 tap the cars in the upper right hand of the app next to the little person. Scroll right or left to select the vehicle if choice. Don't hit Select Vehicle but tap Vehicle Details. It will be the third item in that page.

Like how is this considered an update....I have an idea...how about leaving the app that actually has everything in it alone until you actually COMPLETE the updated app...crazy I know
I can see old service history in the app, but how can an owner add new service history ?

missing the fuel gauge and odometer reading
The odometer is under vehicle health in the services tab.
Huge issue not being able to see pro power readout.
Had storms knock power out for 4 days a week ago while I had to head out of town for the weekend.
This Never used to be a problem since I could check the app to make sure truck was running and powering the freezers basic lights etc.
The new app hit at the worst time as I Literally had to have my neighbor come check my truck while I was gone out of state for 4 days.
I also did my own services. Used zone lighting and trailer light check all the time. I don't know how you move backwards.
Ford should seriously clean house as this new app is a terrible disappointment.
I must be the stupidest person in the world, or Ford is the stupidest company. Does this app do anything useful anymore other than start the truck and lock/unlock the doors? If so, I can’t find them. What happened to the oil life level or the tire pressures? Honestly, I keep opening the app and can’t find anything to operate with the app.
The digital owners manual is a good idea but its poor execution makes it worthless.

The app is not going to be fixed by the dealer. Ford chose to remove some things. The dealer can't fix the app.
In my opinion, this update had ONE goal. Drive you to dealerships for service and stop you from doing your own. GM trucks up 10% Ford trucks down 10%. What does Ford do? Piss off even more customers naturally.
The new app is better. But still stinks. P. U. Why can’t I look at my app and tell right away if my truck is locked? Common. Sense. Toyota app will even tell you if a window or moonroof is open. I love my Lightning. But Ford needs to act like they really want to compete in the EV space or any space when referring to tech. #Fordtechstinks
