It's good but the Stone Roses put 'Mersey Paradise' on the back of 'She Bangs the Drums'. Not just the best combination of songs, but two of the best songs ever written in my opinion. Having them on one record is just too much to handle! LOL
Monster tune, vastly underrated commercially. Preferred my main love House music at the time, but these lads music, just like the Mondays and the Stone Roses has stood the test of 30 years, still sounds fresh in 2018. CTID RIP Craig
In the UK it was shoegaze which came to the fore after madchester and later that gave way to britpop. It wasn't really very amazing that the scene moved on and changed.
Definitely. It was bad enough 2012 onwards but this latest tour seems to confirm they weirdly still think Stephen can sing. It’s now just Clint on a power trip trying to “show” Tom they can still do it. They can’t.
Killer band!! back then it was either mondays or the roses not for me these guys were a class of their own love them and i liked northside much as well MUCH overlooked and over shadowed.

Used love hearing this on KACV FM 89.9 during the era where it was The Gavin Reports College station of the year for quite a run of years or as the day "a minute"
In the same class of British bands as the Who in my Opinion,A Fantastic band..u.k hasn't produced the like of since.. perhaps Blur but Sweet FA since XxXx...
Anyone hosting an at-home rave party should lead off the evening with this song. If nobody dances, send them all home.
yeah they have to at least wave there arms around or something
And those going home could listen to "this is how it feels to be lonely!"

it's amazing how grunge overshadowed the madchester rock scene in the early 90's
More sad and depressing than “amazing,” IMHO.
