Heh, I'm quite sure Shaun "fell asleep" on that beach in Spain! Actually, when you consider the copious amounts of drugs that have traveled through that man's body, he looks surprisingly well.
Nice one! i saw the mondays in stoke, back in 1992, and the carpets in oldham, the same year, cant believe its 20 yrs ago!!...what with seeing the roses this year and the charlatans, (like 1990 all again).. madchester!!!!!!
Awe, good ole Bill.. Hope he's keeping as well as his Bees. (Bless) But aye, ♡ Rowetta & such an amazing singer.. (on that Shamen track sounds bl**dy brilliant too) ♡

Its hard here to see craig talking about putting his kids to bed....then a few years later to not be a dad anymore......im sure he had his reasons.....tinnitus......but RIP CRAIG.....
I remember the first City's in The Park concert (at Heaton Park Manchester) The Happy Mondays were playing, and when they came on, Shaun was that smashed out of his head, for the first 20mins, he sang with his back towards the audience, didn't realise a thing.... 🤣🤣
For a group that took pride in their rebellious image, there are no bigger media establishment whores than the Happy Mondays. Rowetta on X-Factor, and Shaun and Bez whoring themselves out to celebrity this, that or the other.
@@cockshield fair point - Shaun & Bez were rummaging in antique shops on celebrity bargain hunt a few years back if I remember. What's wrong with Clint? I normally like the guy but why is he so bitter towards Tom? Tom was by far the best Carpets front man. RIP Craig. Sleep Well Always!

Love to see a retro type concert featuring Inspirals ,James, Charlatans ,Northside, Happy Mondays, Stone Roses , Farm, Flowered Up, 808 State 👍👍
Yeah, I'm sick of these 80s festivals with all the square bands, I'd love a festival with those bands you mention
@@arthurthistlewood1225 sadly i can’t see it, but we can all live in hope 🤞🏼🤞🏼🙏🏼
god i love these bands..both so so wonderful! good to see they are still around. too bad here in the USA they don't appreciate this so much.
Inspiral Mondays and the Happy Carpets - legendary!

The Happy Carpets is a great name
I love those names lol
bit brave of the BBC letting Shaun Ryder live on breakfast TV, bet the producer was shitting himself
Especially after the tfi friday incident.

omg your spoiling me such a cool hookup both groups fab
I forgotten Shaun's excellent head of hair.
Rowetta is a BBW mama now. Wouldn't mind seeing her get her kit off.
"Slightly more sedated schedule"
Imagine if Noel Gallagher had got chosen as lead singer of the inspirais!!
What?
@@tomhinds14 he auditioned for lead singer of the Inspirals. He wasn’t chosen but he was made a roadie. Around 1988/89.
His singing voice is remarkably similar to Clint Boon's.
His head would've needed its own tour bus.
Shaun’s hair!! RIP Craig
Rowetta’s the best singer.

Inspiral carpets far better than the mondays
Kevin Dinham two different things man you can't compare them.
With Tom Hingley on vocals maybe. But with the wooden plank Stephen Holt singing I wouldn't even watch them if they were in my back garden
