Best of all the greatest hits to me
Inspiral Carpets are the best ever. The original singer is Ace. Nice to have the Mod/Northern soul stuff going on too. Takes me back to my youth.
👍
John Cooper Clarke and Mark E Smith having both sang with them, that's some endorsement!!
Piece of pure brilliance, RIP Craig
Inspiral Carpets, soul dancing and John Cooper Clarke!! What more could I ask for!!

This song is the new commercial reign. The perfect Inspirals tune
this remains me The Doors for a estrange reason hahahaha great song fellows !! sorry for the bad english . Respect and Love from Mexico mates !!!
Garage sound, garage vocals, I think Tom is a better singer but for this this track Holt is more suited..... Inspirals will never be forgotten!
This is one hell of a groovy track.
That is proper banging! 👍
Amazing sound, great video, only needs more shots of Clint Boon, LEGEND!
Inspiral Carpets & Dr JCC. Perfect.
John cooper Clarke rock god
Wow. I just finished listening to Revenge of the Goldfish for the umpteenth time, and wondered what, if anything, Insprial Carpets was up to now with Holt, whom frankly, I wasn't interested in hearing when I read of the reunion some time ago. To me, Tom Hingley was a key component, and he's on all their previous studio albums.
This is an excellent tune, with John Cooper Clarke to boot! Will check out the new album.
Yes Tom Hingley was the best singer from all the Madchester bands.Last time I saw him he was selling clothes in Afflecks Palace.
I like this, but God, it made me feel old.
Sheer brilliance
Saw them in Derby last Wednesday (04 11 15) amazing
37,419 me finding this one, bang bang one of the greatest, love you IC
woah!!!!!!Yeah!!!no proper words!!!!!
Tune!
Great tune. Lyrics. John Cooper Clarke
Groovy! Turn Up Your Amp(s), this sounds sooooooo mellow! Great recording. Period. :)

Great vid this Northern Soul moves and sounds of Madchester
Great track.
This song has a certain Doors vibe.
Voyage ds le temps ;))SUPER ! Bonjour Dominique .
Very KOOL!!!
Cool as fuck, love the groove.
This must be one of the last songs Craig Gill recorded before he died.
Very good!
Big big song this
Brilliant!! :) x
It's like you've never been away.
I ve been a fan since 89 and this is fuckin rapid
God bless gilly
since i first discovered them, the inspirals have been a warm blanket to me, this is how it feels was my first cd, then i fell more into them.... beast inside....joe ...revenge of the goldfish........ all the b sides... fuck im crying now i love you clint boon
Best bend ever
Fooking love this, 😎 as! ****
Tune....
Whatever went on with the inspirals is down to them but you can never replace the voice of a band. I quite like these new songs but without Tom Hingly singing them it just doesn't reach its full potential
I totally agree, Stephen Holt comes across as a really nice guy but his singing isn’t a patch on Tom Hingley’s. As a fan of the Inspirals I have been to loads of gigs over the years, and thoroughly enjoyed them, but we saw them support the Happy Monday’s at M.E.N. arena a few years ago and I couldn’t listen to it, and ended up just going to the bar instead. These days I think it’s better to go and see Tom Hingley with his tribute band The Kar-Pets, we went last night, and it was more authentic than seeing the Inspirals without him on Vocals.
Hingley is a better singer but Holt is a better garage singer and this is garage music
@@hammymonkton8201 This not garage music at all
i totally agree . this is a good song but Tom Hingley was the real voice of the IC’s
@@hammymonkton8201 I do agree that the pre dung 4 songs, Stephen sounds better than Tom singing them but Tom is SO much better singing the rest of the material
KOOL!
Fuckin awesome....I'm gonna have this on in my car full blast...windows down to educate the public!
I imagine you're really popular with your neighbours :)
Don't tell me I'm your man I will only let you down.....
Farfisa-riffic!
I agree with those who say that Tom Hingley is a great singer but this song is made for Steve Holt. His vocals are brilliant on this track, has to be one of the best songs since the new millenium
The band made the right choice with Stephen Holt. Amazing song, amazing video.
Makes me wonder if the Carpets had been even better with Holt all the way through the noughties. (You know he is the orignal singer, right? From 1983)
Smart Slick Sassy!!
excellent, enough said!!
nice T-Shirt Steve,I've just gone and bought myself one after many years,I must have had 4 or 5 back in the day.
jay carr good stuff mate, ive got the long sleeved cool as f**k one from back in the day still. its a tad tight though! that's tom hingley in the pic if you couldnt tell. met his lordship at newquay scooter rally last year. take it easy.
yeah i recognised him alright, top bloke.
Looks like Jon Pertwee as the scarecrow
Way underrated tune. Top notch, cool af
jcc wot a ledge!
My prescription is seven of these with a bottle of whizz
Call out the quack, Dr. Reliable
Yeah wkd
Where's Tom ???? There's no Carpets without Tom ..sorry never same without Tom
No Tom, who is on vocals here?
The original frontman, from 1983, Stephen Holt. Excellent if you ask me - even though I also like Tom Hingley, and have all his solo albums.
This is absolutely brilliant even without Tom.
sorry but no Tom no Carpets.
RIP Craig x
now if liam fronted this ????
Not their best tune...But it does have that nice inspirals sound...
Tom Hingley Would be much better Singing This 👌
Azure halo are better fk
I mean i miss tom hingley, but this is mister boons show and hes fucking still doing it right.
