I have a customer who is wanting to make a contact group from a public contact group, but when trying to it shows the list as empty. If I go to the contact list though I am able to see them all. Any ideas? I already tried giving full permissions on outlook for the group and still issue

When sending a new email click on the TO or CC and then it will allow you to select the group you created for the CC as well. After selecting the group click on the CC button in the bottom of window.

Okay, so let's say I create the group. After I send my email, when someone "replies all" to the email, will we all see that email reply? Also, will the people I add to my contact group know that I added them into a contact group?
If you create your own group then it won't work. But outlook admin can create groups which can be accessed by everyone then any changes made to group will be reflected in the group.
How to use the outlook in the same format you are using. It's like excel or words interface. How can I do this?
It's just the desktop version of outlook, not sure I understood the question.
It looks like you are using Outlook desktop, not Outlook 365. They're very different.
So I created the group and it made a new email domain. Does that mean anyone in the group can send emails with that domain? I hope I'm using the right terms...
The contact group created is for your own use. If you are part of a outlook exchange server then you need special permission to create contact groups which can be used by everyone, you need to check with your administrator.

Yes you can add new members.
But that only if you aleady have a list of emails in the outlook, how about from excel file

Can you tell me does it send as individual parties as an email are all names shown so people know its been sent to everyone. I want each person to remain separate/anonymous.
If you put them in BCC then they get the email but they can't see others email addresses

Yes, you need to work with outlook exchange admin to create the group as visible to everyone.
I have over 1000 contact, all whom work for different companies. One firm has 50 employees. I’m looking to set up a group for each company and add the employees details to each one. Is this possible? And if so is there a quick way of doing it ie search for the company, then just drag and drop all employees into the members list
You can create separate contact group for each company.
@@FindEasySolution thanks yes I know but if I have a company with 50 contacts it won’t let me search for that company and drag and drop the 50 contacts at once. Instead I have to try and find the company then add each member individually.
When I send a group email then does other recipients see other email addresses that I sent too or are the email addresses hidden.
No others will see all the email addresses, if you want to avoid people seeing other email addresses enter all email addresses under "bcc" when you click on "To" to enter email addresses outlook opens a window at the bottom you can see "bcc" (blind carbon copy) enter email addresses there then when you send the email people can't see email addresses of others.

Any group can be added to To or CC when you send an email, no restriction on using any group for CC

@@naeemakhtar1060 You should have two contact groups one for Mechanical and one for electrical group. When you are sending the email in "To" give the Mechanical group and in "CC" give Electrical group. Both groups get the email.

No outlook won't notify, it's only to help you not to type all email addresses each time when you want to send an email.
