How to Schedule an email in Outlook - Office 365. This video explains how you can schedule an email. If you want to send an out of office email after 5 PM you can type the email now and schedule it to be delivered to recipients after 5 PM in the evening.

As I need the e mail to be send without me being online or with the app open, so what I do is this: I prepare the e mail and everything from outlook app leave it on drafts and then open outlook web open the draft e mail and click in the dropdown arrow next to send option and select "send later" and select when (day and time) I want it to be send and thats it. It will be sent without me being connected or anything.

It will only send at that time if Outlook is open. Once you close your computer, it just sits in the outbox until the next time you open Outlook.

Not only does Outlook need to be open at the scheduled time, being on your iPhone doesn’t send it off either. Very limited use for this. There is no Outbox on the iPhone either. Better to put in Draft and have an alert on your phone to send the email, if you know you can’t be on your laptop at the desired time.

Yes, I just experienced this flaw and came to CZcams to see if I’d done something wrong or missed a step. This doesn’t work. I set an email to “do not deliver before” 7:30am today since I had a busy morning. I finally sat down at 10:35 to check emails and it just THEN fired off my “scheduled” email. Doesn’t work.

It's not simple... Whenever you are making one mail, there should be come one option asking schedule mail for am other time in the top of the window and bottum of the options.. then we can finalizeba time for sending the mail.

Never tested that but if the PC doesn't go to sleep should be sending the email. You may want to test it.

Hi, I had the same problem at first. You can still schedule to send a reply to an existing email. The message option he spoke about in the video is found just below the tabs: ❗ High Importance and ⬇️Low Importance. Next, just below low Importance is the Tags, and you can see a drop down on the right corner ( still on Tags). I hope this helps. I'm not good at explaining, still learning these things 😅

Yes, you can do it but keep in mind you need to leave your outlook application running you can's close it, then only it will send email at 9:00 PM.

You can schedule the email when working offline too but when the scheduled time to send the email is reached you should have internet connectivity otherwise it will not send the email.
