If you're using online outlook, it won't work. You need to use the app- and on a laptop or a computer
I have the app on my laptop and mine still doesn't look like this. I have no tabs and no "File" option. None of this is there.

@@franslam7398I know I’m late but I found the issue. So open the outlook app on laptop or desktop. In the top right hand corner there’s a button to disable the “New outlook”. You need the older version to delete a sent message.

@@prashanthprataparao6376 I got a notify of my recall from my gmail account. Most important, I could still see my previous gmail before the recall. Idk.

HI! I sent an email to three people. In 10 minutes, i recalled the message as you explained above. I had also ticked the box to receive a notification on whether it was successful or not. HOWEVER, I did not receive any notification. Was it successful or not? Also, what happens if only one person read it and others two did not?

in this case there is a high chance that at least one of the recipient managed to read the email.

Which version of office\Outlook are you using?
Please, follow the below steps as a second method to recall an email in outlook.
Open the message that you want to recall. You must double-click to open the message
If you have the Classic Ribbon, from the Message tab, select Actions > Recall This Message.
If you have the Simplified Ribbon, select the Message tab and then select More commands (...). Point to Actions and select Recall This Message
Click Delete unread copies of this message or Delete unread copies and replace with a new message, and then click OK.

Yes, you can. You have two options to cancel the email or to edit it and sent it again.

for anyone this isn’t working for! : go to your sent folder>double click on the email>in the far right corner click on the 3 dots>look for a button that says actions>recall button will be right there

How to CANCEL A RECALLED EMAIL?
When the receiver had been read then is it possible to recall?
No, if the receiver has opened the email you can not recall it.
