My wife and I lived in Portland for three years.
If you had continued across the bridge at Multnomah Falls and gone up the trail where people were coming down, you could have gone to a platform right on the edge at the top of the falls. It’s quite a view.
Thanks so much for sharing, it felt like I was there again.
Awe Chris you made me homesick! I have lived in Washington most of my 71 years. Am in Wisconsin now but I'm "going home" in July. Good bye Wisconsin! Thank you for this beautiful video 💕 🙂
Thanks for that memory, Chris. I've not been back to San Francisco for a long while, but it is truly one of the most beautiful cities, and the Bridge is always a thrill.
Yea, it’s so pretty there. Nice job capturing so much of the area and sharing it.
Pretty!!
Amazing waterfalls , the rock faces are just as impressive
Very cool 😎 as always thanks for taking us along. 🙏
Love that part of the country thanks for taking me there. Keep them coming.
Definitely one of my favorite states
Thank you Chris, they were all beautiful. I enjoyed the trails you took us on.
I was there in the 90's and hiked to the very top of the falls. The view down to the people at the bottom was incredible. Love that part of the country. I'm 69 now and would not hike that tough climb again. So visit when young.
Wow! Those waterfalls were amazing!
The last one was definitely the coolest. Amazing. Miracle the old restaurant and gift shop survived the fire.
yeah it really is a miracle. Other than some areas on the roof, it seemed to be perfect.
Mobile Instinct 2 Thanks again!
I miss Oregon so much.
Beautiful! This is as close as I will ever get to seeing it! Old man here.
Wow! What amazed me most about Latourell falls; All that rock you're looking at around it, the wavy, tubular rock, it's all Magma Flows! Huge ones!
Really beautiful!
The waterfalls are amazing!! Oregon is really beautiful. I’m definitely wanting to do some backpacking there one day. That is one beautiful Gorge
So beautiful!
One of my favorite areas of the country. Last there in the 90's and hiked a trail higher than the bridge, it didn't go to the top, almost with an amazing view looking down. So beautiful there.
That was really beautiful Chris, thank you for sharing! it is pretty amazing!
Thanks for watching, glad you liked it!
Beautiful .. 🙏 🤗
I live in Oregon and love chasing waterfalls
Wow! Changed alot since I was there prolly 15 or so years ago. There wasn't a railing walking up to top, it was sketchy. I don't think the restaurant was there either. Great video!! 👍
Awesome Chris thank you for the tour! It was great to experience this so peaceful good times keep it up. Thanks again. Cheers!
So glad the trails are open to the public again. I love historic hwy 30 and all the beautiful falls. Have you ever been to silver falls state park in Oregon?
Very nice. The rock formations around the 2nd waterfall remind me of the rocks around Fingal's cave/Giant's Causeway.
Beautiful places. Always fun to tag along with you.
Wow this is so cool!!! Doing my research for an upcoming trip to Oregon I found your video... I’m so excited to visit this place... I subscribed and will see more of your content!!
You're back! Thanks for the videos.
What a beautiful place thx for takin me with you
That trail you saw coming down to the bridge goes to the top of the falls. It’s a stunning view up there
Stunning! Thanks for sharing...really enjoyed it.
Your destinations are so awesome that I always find myself searching for them on Google Earth. So, away I go to get a little more of what you are experiencing. Thank you Chris, another wonderful place.
Thank you,We all needed that!Great video,,Safe Travels!
Thanks, Chris
Other than the obvious great views> I loved the shots of how people responded to your camera catching themselves being recorded in the background. Thanks Chris.
America the beautiful. 🇺🇸
Hi, such a stunning area of natural beauty. Those waterfalls were breathtaking. Thank you so much for sharing, my favourite falls of all time has to be the Iguassu Falls. x
I just drove the Historic Columbia River Highway this past April and the waterfalls were roaring! I stopped at all the waterfalls, Vista House (WOW the view), there is a tunnel that was part of the original road that was restored. I am going back to spend more time to go to the waterfalls that you have to hike to see them. You may consider visiting Tunnel Fall/ Eagle Creek the trail, it was blasted into the shear rock wall in 1919 and there is a tunnel that goes behind one of the waterfalls it is in the Columbia River Gorge.
So beautiful! Thanks, Chris.
So beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
Great vid, one of your best to date. Through these I get to see so many marvels which I never knew of!
Thank you Chris, another bucket list check off. Thanks for sharing.

Oregon is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing! Check another one off ye 'ol bucket list.
So many people! What a popular spot; I mean for obvious reasons.
Be like water, my friend 👊
Beauty
So sad a big fire went through there a year and a half ago. Still beautiful! I go hiking there at least once per week! Thanks for visiting our beautiful state! I hope to see you out on the trail sometime!!
It's an incredible state!
Haven't been to Multnomah Falls in ages, need to get up there. Just hate getting that close to Portland
Love your videos keep up the good work. From 🇬🇧
🌊🌊🌊
Beautiful! So serene and pretty! Thank you!
Peace & Love!
Have a Glamazing Day!
👍😀🌈🤪🌈😎🌈😍
If you are still travelling up the west coast you should head into Vancouver, BC and visit either Lynn Canyon suspension bridge of the Capilano suspension bridge. Both have magnificent views.
Nice video!
Very impressive waterfalls - love the look of the moss growing in the area. Are these all in the the same Oregon State Park? Thanks for sharing another great location!
Yes! They're all very close to each other
Have you been there during the winter in a cold snap when the waterfall freezes? Might be worth the trip! One of the most beautiful sites I've seen.
You should go to Silver Falls next time you are in Oregon. I think that set of falls are equal to those in the gorge.
Just try to imagine how much water has went over the falls since it started
I'm getting so homesick. I spent my teenage years exploring the Portland area...ln the winter it freezes
Great video, I subscribed. I was at Smith Rock on Saturday and took a video.
We've walked up to Multnomah Falls (the top) about 4 times now. (Before the fire.) If you ever get a chance to hike up to the top you should do it. It's a rough hike, but well worth the effort. The view from the top is spectacular!
Beautiful! The first waterfall looked really tiny in the beginning until you showed it with people around it for perspective! Also, at the second waterfall, how come the rock looks like it has hexagonal shaped formation and? It looks like giants landing but smaller!
I think that is due to ancient lava flows being forced upwards from underground to the surface. The rock there must be incredibly hard!
You can get all of the way up to the top of multnomah falls and stand right over it. There was a deck built up there for people. Might not be there anymore due to the horrific fire.
nice
If you like Oregon and waterfall's you need to hike the Silvercreek fall's trail out side of Silverton.
Go Cubs!
At around 3:35….the pattern or formation of the rock is really interesting. Almost geometric.
So you were in my neck of the woods not to long ago. I grew up in Southern New Mexico (Las Cruces) by White Sands national monument but have lived here in Washougal WA for five years now. Not far from Multnomah falls.
Absolutely stunning! Did you try going over one in a barrel? .😜
Haha that would have been a great video
Silver Falls is my fav. park. Wanted to go on the bridge, but was closed when I went or Dad didn't wanna hike it. Not sure.
Looks like the waterfalls I have came across in the game of WoW
You should check out hocking hills state park in Ohio, pretty similar to this
I hope you’re heading up to Timberline Lodge?
Can you make a video from start yo end of a glacier formation to mixing it into the sea.
Did you bring your Irish Spring soap bar?
I feel like taking a shower
Not sure what the delay is between when you visit and when you post, but if you're still heading east through the gorge, I highly recommend Tom McCall Preserve at Rowena, OR, especially the trail out to the river overlook. Amazing views from there!
I’m so sad to see what the fire did I have videos from before if the fire it is so different now.
There’s a saying here, in Oregon you don’t tan. You rust😂
Just stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to.
I live in Oregon and remember when those idiot teenagers threw fireworks and caused the fire
I look at places like this and think the earth should of and could been paradise, what happened.
Don't go chasing waterfalls .
Please stick to the rivers and the lakes that you’re used to
That comment was really uncalled for! 😠
J Sowders It’s a TLC song Its a joke, but try again
@@KitschyTravels ...Sorry, didn't know. In that case...haha hahahaha....🤣
