That looks like it was near Cheyenne WY going towards Laramie, the trees are Aspens, beautiful trees, especially in the fall. They usually grow in elevations above 4000 - 5000 ft above sea level. I always wanted some on my land but I live to low of an altitude. Great video!
Finally, a location I have been! My sister use to live in Laramie, WY and we came from CA to visit here and had a family picnic there in Vedauwoo park.
Great climb, Chris! At 6:04 the rock formation looks like 3 guys standing with their backs to you! BTW you made my stomach queezy as I don't do heights well....
2:26 those are definitely from something, a building, structure? Wyoming is a very interesting place. There’s a rock formation that almost looks like a petrified dragon, or huge creature that resembles a dragon. 6:03 definitely a dated structure? But I’ve always wondered - could there be actual petrified creatures in various places on the earth?
Thanks for the flashback. I played on those rocks all the time back in the 70's and 80's. Looking through your videos, you are hitting a lot of spots I am very familiar with. It is pronounced Veedavoo. SUBSCRIBED
Wow...these rocks are absolutely natural wonders. I visited Garden of the Gods , Colorado, USA...a National Natural Landmark of US....these are also beautiful spectacular vertical formations of red rocks forms millions of years ago due to Rocky Mountain formation....these rocks have also taken unique shapes..like sleeping Giant, Steam Boat, and Balanced Rock...
Hi, there seems to be an animal carved out of a huge rock that you didn't comment on so I assume you missed it, it was at 3:55 in the video of this amazing location. Some gorgeous scenery from on top of that rock, it makes it worth climbing just for that. Thanks for sharing. xx
You should have played, "I am a rock" for the theme song of this video. Many parks, have rock formations. The one with the large arch. And try Red Rocks in Colorado. Have fun, but please be extra careful on the rocks. How about the Petrified Forest?
Thank you for an incredible experience. Somehow, I knew that you'd get a close up of that balancing rock. Your watchword could be, "I am, therefore I climb." You'd probably have a blast in a place like Hindsdale County, Colorado, home to multiple "fourteeners". Have you ever thought about having a go at Mt. Whitney? Cheers and kudos from one of your fans from California.
VEDAUWOO /ASPENS!!!! < THE TREES,,DID 13 ROUND TRIPS FROM RI TO UT EVERY SPRING TO VOLUNTEER IN A USFA CAMP,,TWICE A YEAR I SPENT THE NIGHT THERE,.I HAD SHIVERS RUNNING DOWN MY SPINE CHRIS,,THANK YOU....FLAMING GORGE OR ROCK SPRINGS ALONG 80 IS COOL,,.SAFE TRAVELS,,THANK YOU
I'm amazed, impressed and thankful for the lack of ugly graffiti on those rocks.
If this was california there would be trash & graffiti. "Culture" ........

You find the coolest things. Keep rockin it, thanks for taking us with you.
Beautiful Scenery! Great video Chris!!
The white trees are aspens not white oaks. Voo doo as Wyomingnite call the area is a big rock climbing area. Glad you enjoyed the area.
That was amazing! I confess I was holding my breath as you made the descent from that balancing boulder!
That's beautiful! Thank you for the great scenery!

It looks similar to several areas along the pacific coast.
Very beautiful place.
Two of my favorite states. Colorado & Wyoming. Heck, I grew up on a street called Wyoming.
Great climb, Chris! At 6:04 the rock formation looks like 3 guys standing with their backs to you! BTW you made my stomach queezy as I don't do heights well....

Nature is the coolest sculptor. ❤️👍☮️
Very true
Great video, as always, Chris, and great scenery, too! :)
It was almost 60 years ago that I climbed on some of those same boulders!
Very nice Chris. That place reminds me of Garden of the Gods just north of Colorado Springs Colorado.
Nice hat! I live near Cleveland and have been an Indians fan most of my life! I love your videos!
Beautiful! Thank you!

Super Video Chris

Wow that tree is a rock hugger
Awesome views and video. You scare me sometimes, rattlesnakes hide in those rocks. Glad you didn't get bit. Take care of yourself, Chris.
some of the giant things were much bigger than just a mountain some are mountain ranges
It is pronounced vee-da-voo. I used to live in northern Colorado and visited those rocks a number of times. And the trees are actually Aspen.

Haha yup, I had to check out that rock for sure. It's definitely a possibility on the climb
Wonder what geologists say as to natural forces placing those boulders precipitously on top of other boulders, the deluge theory comes to mind
6:51 that tree has a face
Cant you notice those rocks make walls? ^^ Just that it collapsed in many places due to deluge.
I have only ever saw one rattlesnake and it was definitely no cool. It was in northern Ontario.
Nerdy queation.. Was the train honking at you (saying hi)? Or honking because it was time to honk, lol?
Chris, were these rocks piled up like that from receding glaciers?
Glaciers are my guess too
No oak trees live there 😂
Those are cottonwood or aspen 👍
Hard wood trees won’t survive. To high, to much wind.

I always see you hanging around people and nobody’s wearing masks. Do you own a mask?
there were no silly masks required in 2017.
