Man I really would love to know what time he was on for there. He was absolutely flying!!

He was 7th fastest in sector one (55.39), and 2nd fastest in sector two (109.75). Sector three he didn't make the top 25 so I'm guessing that was the sector with the crash. There wasn't much in it up until that point, sector one he was only 0.35 behind the fastest time, and 0.33 behind for sector two. Hatton was leading Daprela by only 0.3 at the second split so I'm sure he would have been there at the end if he hadn't come off.

that little take off was too wet and probably gave in when he tried to launch off it to clear the rocks. that was the faster line that he tried.

He went straight into the red rock, I thought they were painted red to indicate to the rider it’s un rideable without suffering damage? Maybe he thought otherwise or simply didn’t see it? Be interesting to see if anyone interviewed him about it and uploaded it here?
