Is it just me or is there really no benefit to trying so hard in qualy or semis? Might as well just skip to race or give riders 2-3 race runs.
If you dont qualify top 60 you don't get to the finals.
So if you cruze you might not qualify.
@@roddas26jackson is protected so he doesn't need to qualify. But winner is getting 50 points, that's why they're probably going fast.

Points for quali, no points for semi-final.
The only thing that matters for semi is to make it in top 30 if you're not protected and gamble on weather conditions in finals, as we've seen. Bonus would be if you start late in finals, you get more broadcast coverage as opposed to only your start, one or two meaningless shots in the middle and your finish line...
