Based on inflation alone, a 1995 F150 costing $17,000 back then would be $31,000 today. Almost double the cost so it’s not too crazy if you could buy a base trim 2024 F150 for even say, $40,000. The ridiculous part is these F150s packaged out to over $90-100k. It’s still just a half ton truck and it still says Ford on it.

I absolutely despise black wheels, and huge ghetto wheels in general. I wouldn't even consider owning a vehicle with trash like that on it. I have a 1968 Ford F-250, 2 wheel drive, 2 door, 8 foot bed, 390/C6 truck, that came with 16.5" wheels, but because those are a hard size tire to find, I put 15" wheels on it, which allowed me to use tires with wider sidewalls to keep the same outside diameter. I love it. I will never get rid of it, even if it does get 8 mpg in town. I also have a 2003 V6 Mustang. I bought it used, in beautiful condition with 71,000 miles on it, in Zinc Yellow, but it had 16" wheels, which are not only ugly, but normal sized RWL tires won't fit. So I found a nice set of 15" wheels from a 2000 model V6 Mustang for it, and I was able to put some BF Goodrich Radial T/A RWL tires on it. None of my vehicles are loaded down with spy devices, and TRASH self driving technology that applies the brakes and turns the steering wheel by themselves. These things will actually take control of the vehicle away from the driver, and turn it over to a computer. Not only dangerous as hell, but do you really own the vehicle if you don't have control of it, and it is loaded with cameras and microphones watching and listening to everything you do and say, and send it out over the internet to who knows where? They can even be remotely shut down from a laptop or a phone.

My complaint is they got rid of manual in the base model, which means that you're stuck. The "trick" people used to do was to take the normal base model, drop on a supercharger or larger turbo kit and end up with a faster car than a base GT for about 5K less spent. Doubly so with the new GT at 50K+, since the only difference between the base and GT is the engine. So you pay 13K extra for the same vehicle with just a bigger engine. Or 8K for the upgrade kit. It's the largest markup in the entire industry percentage-wise for just an engine upgrade.

Keep your current vehicles l, fix them, or buy used from a private seller and put some money in it if you have to but DO NOT BUY FROM THESE DEALERSHIPS!
