A Busy Fall Day on the Valley Railroad

On the beautiful fall day, October 15, 2016, we made a trip down to the Valley railroad to catch some steam in the fall foliage. With foliage trains in full swing the railroad was busier than ever before! We captured morning yard activity, the Essex Clipper Dinner Train, the regular Steam Train and Riverboat Excursion, and the new Haddam Special, complete with a 2 steam locomotive meet at Deep River Landing. The railroad was packed, the weather was great, and both 3025 and 40 were fired up. What a day!. I hope you enjoy watching as much as we did chasing.
