  • Newly bought smartwatch, tracked my shakti chalan kriya and breath watch meditation - both advanced isha yoga practices. Here's the first set of readings I got. It was interesting that all this is so trackable now, and how I can corelate with what Sadhguru says.
A lot more tracking data coming up, do subscribe to the channel to get notified.
Some of the scientific research data for other isha yoga practices: innerengineering.sadhguru.org... (haven't seen anything on the advanced practices yet)

In general, yes it will be good. For specific queries you can check with isha teacher. You can call the general helpline for isha, they can connect you to some relevant person +91-8300083111

Namaskaram Akka, if your watch give ECG then make sure to save that too. You can have lots of data in few months to analysis.

No, this watch doesn't have ECG as of now. Maybe after some upgrade if it comes in.. I don't know. Actually, another lower end watch from Garmin has ECG that too medical grade.. but I needed some different features so I didn't opt for that one :)

Dear Akka, I like your videos. I practice Sudarshan Kriya taught by Art of Living, actually i watched Sadhguru saying about how dangerous kundalini can be, so although i get many benefits of the practice, i always fear that something bad may happen. What can i do?

Interesting question. I was going to say that some practices / Gurus may settle into your system... and feel OK. But I remembered that my initial days with Isha Shakti chalan and hatha yoga I struggled quite a bit. But somehow I couldn't leave Sadhguru.. so soon the pracs settled into my system.
But since then I have also realised that there is also the danger of actually doing the pracs wrong. So I have learnt to do them with more awareness now.
Maybe I will do a video on this to elaborate my reply...
