Kudos for the Video clip! Excuse me for butting in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you considered - Marnaavid Unexplainable Intervention (probably on Google)? It is a great one off guide for learning how to hack your flow state minus the hard work. Ive heard some great things about it and my buddy after a lifetime of fighting got cool success with it.
I couldn’t do it. lol When it comes to brief deep breathing meditation videos, I’m used to breathing meditations that only involve deep breathing. So after hearing “take two deep breaths” and taking them, I couldn’t take anything other than deep, controlled breaths. I think I was able to breath naturally without controlling it for one very brief moment. But I decided it was ok to take deep breaths too. I’d like to try this exercise again in the future now that I know what to expect. Learning to appreciate our natural breath is valuable. :-)
This is by far my favourite breathing relaxation video on CZcams. No cheesy background music and images, no quasi-spiritual mumbo jumbo. Works every single time and really calms me down when I need it. Typically I play this more than once, in most cases 3 times in a row to achieve the result that I'm after - is there a chance for you to upload a longer (e.g. 15 minutes) practice with the same approach?
Totally agree! I like his voice and delivery, very straightforward. I get so tired of all those nasally Mid-Atlantic women with their breathy delivery.
I totally agree with your comment. All those recordings of mystic voices with mystic music are irritating. Instead of relaxing me, they cause my blood pressure to rise. I also like his other recordings, especially the one on Progressive Muscle Relaxation.
I've been doing this for a decade now, i tried a lot of different meditations etc, but the simplest observation of my breathing was always the most functional one. You don't need a video to do it, of course to start it's a fantastic video. Try to do it on your own as well. The interesting thing is that 1 hour of meditation may seem like 5 minutes and then when you're truly present in the normal life, 5 minutes seems like 1 hour
This is the best no-BS meditation on breath that I've listened to. No need to control my breath, no need to calm or empty my mind. Thank you for a great video!
Some more than others...able to be goal-oriented and fulfill dreams, etc.. Alt perspective.... Nervous system short-circuits for many objective, physical reasons, trauma, aging, etc.
I really liked how you compared the breath to the waves of the ocean. As I breathed I was able to tune into the sound of my breath and it does remind me of the ocean. Wonderful nugget, thank you!
I was in the middle of a panic and felt like I was going to be sick but this video called me all the way down! Definitely saving it for the next time or when I need it during the holidays at work 😅 Ayo! Panic check 🤪
Lovely Meditation. ...Buddha spent six years meditating on the essence, causes, and cures for human anguish. In the end, he came to the realization that suffering is not caused by ill fortune, by social injustice, or by divine whims. Rather, suffering is caused by the behaviour patterns of one’s minds. Yuval Noah Harari (Sapiens)
Finally - a relaxing mindful breathing video that doesn't have annoying background music or a narrator with an obnoxious voice, plus it's short and sweet. Thank you!
This genuinely makes my night routine so much better. After a warm cup of tea. Brushing my teeth and washing my face. I listen to this and feel a very nice calm, and i can fall asleep peacefully.
was feeling really guilty about something, and this helped me take a step back, and think about how i'm going to better myself from that mistake. super helpful, even if this is from three years ago.
I am 14 and have DEEP regret and bad past experiences/decisions and tend to think about the past a lot, so hopefully this will help! Thank you so much!
i used to think that meditation is pseudoscience. but found out that it works physiologically. out of all the cheesy videos with background music and pictures of mountain rivers this one stands out with simplicity, soothing voice and effectiveness. thank you!
Many thx. 3x a day 5m deep breathing recomm given long ago...so this is a step in the right direction to cope better! And congratulate yourself (for breathing - is worth a laugh or at least a smile).
April Do this before bed too and it will relax you so much for going to sleep. Stay hydrated with water, exercise about 30 minutes a day, and aim for 7 hours of sleep at night, and you will find your panic attacks will go away. You GOT THIS😎
It’s just so much stress out here in the world, so doing things that I mentioned above are good ways to detox your mind.....oh also try painting for a hobby.......soooooo super therapeutic🤗
@@brandisd.5042 Thank you, just thank you so much for caring, I really appreciate it! It's embarrassing to put this out there but I suffer with OCD and this stressful time just brought back all the anxieties I had worked so hard to get through. But just the fact that you cared enough to help, it means alot! I will definitely try those. Thank you. Be well, and stay safe!
April Awwwwwwwwwh, tear no problem, you are so very welcome......I definitely understand; I’ve been there and you WILL HEAL, you just have to BELIEVE IT☺️ also me limiting caffeine helped tremendously, now I just do decaf coffees/teas, and I will have that occasional ice tea etc, but def not a lot of caffeine, and making sure my Vitamin D3 levels are up with vitamins and sunshine ☀️ You will get Better. Okay you stay safe out here as well.
This is absolutely fantastic content. A related book I read was my personal game-changer. "A Life Unplugged: Reclaiming Reality in a Digital Age" by Theodore Blaze
I just found out my boyfriend might've cheated on me. It's been two and a half years since I've been as angry as I am. Thank you so much Epworth HealthCare for making me feel better about my shitty ass boyfriend. I fell less angry
"take a moment to notice your thoughts" he says, to the crowd that are here because they can't collect their thoughts, only to tell us to do something different three seconds later.
If you want more than a 5 minute session......1. Right click in the black space on the video screen. 2. Click "loop". 3. Set your (cellphone) timer for desired length. 4. Press Play icon and enjoy. Hopefully, this works for you.
I don't know why but I started laughing at some point for like 3 seconds and then focused on my breathing again. This happened twice , does anyone had same effect? And why did this happened?
i didn't know the video ended until i realized i hadn't heard him speak in a while lol
Happened to me too
Snap, lol, that's happened to me on a couple different meditation tapes, lol, reassuring to know that I'm not the only one
Same😂
I didn’t know the video ended until an extremely loud advertisement told me so...
Lol same here. 😂
Honestly, the fastest 5 minutes of my life. Maybe that's a sign I need to slow down more.
It really helps when you feel anxious, besides working out this is an excellent habit.
Same!! When he said to congratulate yourself on finishing, I thought I was only half way through
@@tiamatfox9526 Totally! I have this video saved and this is all I do when I feel overwhelmed.

I thought the exact same thing!
video: breath naturally, don't control it
me: *_forgets how to breathe_*
Same 🤣😭
LOL

Felt like 1 minute! Weird how time flew. Feels great to relax the mind at last.

Dla czego nie możesz kontynuować dalej sam tylko potrzebujesz tego głosu rozumiem jako wprowadzenie ale zapętlanie tego samego wybija z potencjału

One of my favourites too.
It’s useful having a mix of guides and unguided meditation and also to experience how the difference changes over time.

This was oddly inspiring
This is so different than the rest on CZcams. Pure, simple, effective and you lose track of time. Love it!

I love this meditation because it is so lenient and understanding.
Was right in the middle of a panic attack and this helped calm me within minutes thank you ❤️🙏
Thank you so much for uploading this. I use it almost daily. Its been a huge help with my anxeity.
This is exactly what I needed today, thanks so much for posting this for the public. Much appreciated. Be blessed!

Look up Headspace channel here on youtube or get the app, Andy does very similar meditations, no music on background.
I honestly dont know how long I laid here until I realized it was over but thank you for introducing me to this level of peace?!!
Easiest 5 minutes. I have used this video for years and It has helped so much. grateful for this.
Thanks a lot. Was having an anxiety attack at work and this truly helped taking my mind off it
I almost fell asleep . I never felt so relaxed and in tune with just me !
Thank you, you have changed my life. I often continue for 10-15 breaths after the video ends, absolutely amazing.
We're so glad to hear this is beneficial for you, Vidhu. Thanks for sharing.

Best breathing video in the world!
I play this video so many times
This was such a great meditation thank you so much :3 It made me instantly go deep despite feeling stressed out, I did not expect that
Might be the most honest video title on youtube, love it.
I'm crying in the middle of the process, hearing him saying detailed things about the breathing and all the awareness..

Man... that was the slowest 5 min of my life.
This video really helped me get to sleep, finally... It’s a shame the stupid loud advert at the end woke me back up :(
