You always say "our" son, never "your" son. So key.
I was so very lucky in this regard. Mom and Pappy just said, "issue any ruling you want. We have no quarrel ". It was 1982, so that didn't favor my father. He got every other weekend. On paper. But...my parents had no intention of following that, anyway. He came and went as he pleased. He picked us up for school every morning, picked us up and we played in his office until 5, he fed us dinner, took us home, and got us every weekend.
I'm so lucky that neither of my parents were Disordered. It's terrible that it can't be that way for all children.
Thank you for alerting me to how petty and gross this process is. I’ve noted that a Judge will split hairs on a complaint about a spouse wanting to say goodnight to their child. My wife has started walking my family down this road. But she doesn’t know or care how awful this can be. As soon as she got a daughter and her student loans forgiven I got my walking papers after 20 years, 12 married, two kids, cars, homes, exotic vacations, support in her education and career. Just call me a disposable dad.
Thank you so much. I am doing the right thing and I hope at our trial (no date yet set for it, had a temp hearing April) the judge can see it. I have so much evidence to show that despite my absolute destain for this man, I've never tried to block contact, alienate or use my children against him. I'm not doing it for the recognition. I just want the truth to be seen and for my kids to have peace.

Putting your kids' needs first by not using them in this battle will be so appreciated by judges! This will be your saving grace in court. Good for you. So many parents going through a custody battle use the kids against each other and I love to hear that there are parents out there that are doing the right thing.

I don’t know how I will be able to cope with a stranger, coming into my family, and telling me what is in the best interest of my child. It is in our children best interest that mom stays away, and I am not sure that the judge may see it that way. My wife told the children that she was going to fckng destroy our family, and she did. Now she wants to have custody of them. I think that she is dangerous towards them.

Why was it so long?
Best interests would mean 50 50 custody in majority of cases but child support greed stops that.

@@NakedNarcissism Always ask these moms "If I called your children's dad right now and ask him if he doesn't want to see his kids, what would he say?" and 100% of the time the mother would basically say to taker word for it. So, what is your children's dad's phone number so I can confirm it?
