Every lawyer I talk to, they say it is cookie-cutter. All the court cares about is dividing the assets about 50/50, even in equitable distribution.
I was in a completely one-sided marriage where I was neglected for 13 years. I had what you call a trauma bond (someone treats you poorly and it has an effect on your brain to where you still fear leaving). This marriage cost me so much, it is unquantifiable and resulted in monetary damages, lost income, lost clients, and now loss of my home, physical effects due to mental anguish and passive emotional abuse, more. I worked my butt off and am being punished for being patient. I did my part, yet she put in minimal financial contribution and the non-economic (house hygiene, homemaker contributions) was near non-existent despite my expressed input over the years. No children, either!
So what is all the evidence for I have if it isn't going to matter to a judge? Really would like to know. Attorneys hesitate even when the above is all tied to economic impact.

@@driver3025 terrible advice. The home is likely a marital asset --- selling or refinancing just before or during a divorce is a really bad look, and probably a violation of initial temporary orders.
There is a presumption that the plaintiff is telling the truth.

Who is their right mind would get married in today's world ? Internet, dating sites, television, cheating, society acceptance, divorce laws, government intervention. Men have to know any women can have 100 different men in their bed every night with a phone call. More that likely she was on seeking arrangements too. Marriage will end in about 5 years as men wise up.
Mine should have ended in 5 days to 5 weeks.
