When I saw an Edge of Dawn cover I jumped to CZcams so fast, I wasn’t expecting different lyrics than the English release but oh my do I love them!! Outstanding cover!!

To be honest, in lore it actually fits! The song itself(yes it canonically exists in lore, thank 3 hopes for that) had lost its original lyrics long lost, it opens the song up to have countless interpretations and have multiple lyrics.

@@saintlugia I'm currently going with the Blue Lions as my first route. Rhea has weird vibes but Dimitri definitely needs therapy but him helping other orphans learn how to use a sword is pretty sweet!

I’m a big fan of FE3H, and I love this take of Edge of Dawn. The original is already beautiful, but I feel like it sounds even better when it leans more into the rock sound.

An amazing cover that I've already listened to three times, exceptional job done in singing it and in customizing the lyrics to better fit the JP version in this case.
As someone who's done the Black Eagle's/Crimson Flower route, this really does speak to me and makes me think of what Edelgard thought in the other routes.

I know they called it ‘The Edge of Dawn’ for the recognition, but it probably would have been better to call it ‘Seasons of Warfare’ which is the original name.

@yinyang452 yes that is the original Japanese name it is also the name of the song used in the original soundtrack as Edge of Dawn is characterized as an orchestral ost in the ost or also known as Seasons of warfare

This is amazing. It is definitely at least as good as the original. The lyrics, the melody, the emotions they bring, everything. The use of instruments is intense and heavy. The singer is extremely skilled as well. Just found this song today and it's already so important to me. One of my all time favorites next to the original. Thank you. You've made a wonderful piece!

Until the end which gives off Crimson Flower vibes. Might be sung during the 5 years Byleth sleeps and she’s stewing in her regrets until they awake at the end.

Not gonna lie, I expected Seasons of Warfare. But this is still incredible
(Ahh, looking back, the way I wrote this, it's absolutely messy. Sorry for that. My thoughts are still scrambled after just finishing the game. This ended up as a wall of text rather than something coherent).
After playing Three houses for two years, playing one route at least every six months or so, I finally finished Silver Snow as my last route, oh boy, it was depressing as hell, basically my history with the game went like this, Azure Moon -> Black Eagles -> Golden Deer -> Silver Snow... I think it was fitting to finally finish my final playthrough with the most bitter route possible, and I even hacked the game in my emulator that basically meant that every Black Eagle that dies pre-timeskip in my Maddening playthrough will join Edie in the timeskip, in the end I had to kill Caspar and Linhardt, Bernie would've been also been fought if it wasn't for Silver Snow not having a Gronder Field map, safe to say she got burned on that hill when Dimitri went on a mad dash.
To make it even more brutal, I B supported most of the students to really hit the nail on the tragedy, it is one thing to kill your Pupils, but it is another when you just hear them kill each other while being helpless to stop it, and remember all I had left was Ferdie, Dorothea, Petra, with me recruiting Ashe, Marrianne, Leonie, and Lysithea since I had to fill up gaps in my army to compensate for my losses and the Church characters except Shamir and Anna who died early. Yeah, this was brutal as hell, oh and I wasn't playing vanilla Three Houses by the way, I was using a rebalance mod to make it even more difficult in Maddening mode so yeah, if you are wondering how I fumbled Linhardt, Caspar, Bernadetta, and Shamir, despite being in my fourth playthrough that's why, but that's just a factor to be honest.
But anyways to sum it up, basically Silver Snow, and I literally lost 5 of my Black Eagles Pupils, 3 in combat, 2 because of story, alongside Shamir getting whacked and meats- I mean Anna sacrificing herself, Linhardt and Caspar getting whacked incident happened in the last Chapter in White Clouds, which is absolutely fitting, the reason why is Pegasus Knights (I hate them with a burning passion now), and running out of divine pulse, and frankly my own personal decision because of roleplay reasons, I wanted to spice the run quite a bit, the rest got whacked in various other incidents in other chapters, most occured very early, when you had the least amount of Divine pulses, and well when you are at turn 32 at a map and you spent an hour and a half trying to win this, you'd probably be reluctant to start over sometimes, which well happened to me.
Regardless the most interesting thing I learned, however, is that when you somehow hack your game to basically "unrecruit" a character just before the preparations screen in battle, they can show up as the enemy, which is why I was able to fight Caspar and Linhardt in Fort Merceus, you can do this with most characters, so long as the map data has it, so yeah if you ever wanted to cry harder, just do what I did, lastly my run lasted 60 hours, 45 hours of pure gameplay, 15 hours just me strategizing and making tweaks to the game if I want to do something wacky, anyways I think I wrote enough now, that is all I can say...

I’ll never understand people who do English covers of songs with different lyrics than the official version. Especially one like this, where some of the lyrics are iconic enough to be immediately recognizable in the community.
Why I know it's different but I thought it was pretty good for the most part
