Should this be ordered along with the shifter to gearbox solid bush repair kit? Or should I order just this? I have a 1992 lexus SC300 but I dont know if its a tripod mount shifter
We recommend using this shifter rebuild kit combined with our shifter to gearbox solid bush for best results on W55, W57 and W58 transmissions. Given you Lexus is a 1992 it will probably have a direct mount shifter, but you should definitely double check before ordering. See link below to our SC300 short shifter install video....although you are not enquiring about a short shifter, the video also shows the difference between direct mount and remote mount shifters, so you will know what to check for

what are some indications of a bad shifter bushing? my mk4 supra has a tough, rugged shift from 1-2-3 but not really on 3rd to 4th and to 5th and vise versa. Do i need a new shifter bushings?
Most likely, your OEM shifter business are worn, the Toyota pivot bush in particular wears very quickly. Replacing the shifter bushes, is definitely the cheapest and easiest place to start trying to solve your problem
