    I ran these on my 2019 Chevrolet Blazer AWD, and when I was road tripping from washington dc to austin texas. I picked up nearly 30 nails in 4 of my tires in Louisiana, and took it all the way 700 miles at 80MPH to Austin. I parked overnight and only lost 7lbs of air in the front left tire. There were 14 nails in it, and these tires are so safe, comfortable and durable.

    I have had these for almost a year on my 2017 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk in 225/65/17. I've used them in all conditions and they've been great. Around town, on the highway, offroad, and in the snow and ice.
    Edit: It's probably been about 8 months.

    I use these on a mitsu outlander and find them to be the best for a mix of highway, off-road and snowy conditions. Geolanders wore and hardened too fast.

      I have an outlander sport I am getting ready to put these on. I don't do a ton of off roading, but do have a horse boarded up a pretty good ridge that is definitely off pavement- dirt, gravel and leaves and even though I have 4WD, the regular tires I have just don't really cut it in that hill. Hopefully they work well for me.

      It's going to cost me a pretty penny since my current tires are only 10 months old, but I really need something slightly more aggressive now.

    Nice review. Glad I watched it. I just bought these for my wife's Venza (20 inch). Glad you don't have any complaints. I wanted an all weather tire and my tire retailer (a good friend of mine) suggested these. I live in Edmonton Alberta so snow and ice traction / safety is high priority.

    Love the review! Based on it (and couple more), I just got these tires (235/60R18) for my 2009 Volvo XC90. I was wondering, what pressure do you run them at for what scenario (generally, compared to the OEM recommendations for your vehicle)?

    Put these on a 2019 Honda ridgeline sport. Returned them 3 days later way to heavy and ride rough.

    Helpful. I have those as OEM on a Toyota rav TRD can’t say I’m happy, the wet and snow wasn’t impressed. As mine have worn they’re louder. I’m going to go w the tried and tr true Yokohama Geolander. The Nitos are cool but they’re pricey and I’m on the states.

      Ohh interesting, how far worn down are yours? Just seeing for comparison and what to expect

      Had Geolander G015 on a previous 2018 2.5i
      They were poor in wet weather and sketchy dangerous as they aged. Wouldn't buy them again. Did last long and no punctures or issues, just not confidence inspiring.

      Honestly i have yokohama avid ascend gt tires on my subaru legacy and have yet to get stuck in snow and i get great mileage, they have good comfort. My car does not even have 6in of ground clearance and i had no issues getting through that depth. I even got through a section of anow that a honda pilot couldnt get through. Was about 8in, i had to plow it with my car

    So we are past the winter now. Did you drive these same tires, or get new ones. If new ones, what did you go with?

    • @dansedran
      @dansedran  Před 4 měsíci +1

      I ended up got right through winter with these. The treads a little lower and the traction started to lose its grip a bit but they still held up great. Tread life now at 35-40%

    Replace those ASAP. As a professional driver for 27 years, I have seen many tires like those causing accidents and breakdowns because of cracks like these. Be safe.
