Welcome to the Corsa family Mike, I have had my Corsa Extreme muffler delete catback with AFM valves on my 2022 Corvette Stingray 1LT since about 4 months ago and I have been loving it ever since !!! :)
On the fence about borla atak and corsa. Why do some of the muffler delete style corsa say for npp? I can see in the picture that it has places for the afm and npp valves. Part 21106blk to be exact. Do you guys know if this is a new xtreme that has npp incorporated or just simulated? Thanks for the transfer of knowledge with your video, she sounds awesome!

If you didn’t properly clip the taillight harness when you hung the bumper back up, it will slide down and cause a gap on the passenger side. I had to pull my bumper back off and the harness plugs fell in between the bumper and support. There’s posts about this on a few forums.
I’ve been doing some research on the best exhaust and have constantly looked at the Corsa as a main contender. I finally yesterday found a dealer that had a C8 with a Corsa and test drove it. Your video sounds so close to what it sounds like in real life. However, of course, my actual experience was incredible. Now I am watching your sound clips and I’m convincing myself to make the jump! 😂 it is a little sad, knowing that these cars can sound like this, but are stifled from the factory.
@@mikesgarage6331 if you go Corsa aka Lingenfelter by Corsa you can’t go wrong and you’ll love it! Also a better filter in the intake box is a plus. 👍🏽 I have the Attack Blue
I went with Lingenfelter by Corsa Extreme w/black tips and love it! Graham Rahal’s shop GRP did my install back in 2021. I also run Attack Blue air filter which makes an even better sounding car with it. Even GRP asked what I had done as mine sounded different and better than their two previous installs and now they keep the filters on hand to offer for those who upgrade. Enjoy it and rumble on….
Great job Mike. I think I'm gonna just change out my tips, as they are the reason for the quiet sound that the car has. However, your C8 sounds amazing.
What a fabulous video, Mike! You verified what I already knew, that is that there’s no way I could do the installation of an aftermarket exhaust system on my C8 myself. You also confirmed that I definitely need to replace mine. My factory non-NPP exhaust is embarrassingly quiet. A C8 should not sound like a Prius. Any regrets now after the fact? Well done!

You dont put heat shield around the x pipe, do you have issue with the bumper melting with heat!? If you want some more quiet ride and monster deeper sound when you feel it, take a look on the Borla Attak kit with the AFM and NPP valve. The best of two world!!!

When the engine goes to 4 cylinder eco mode is there cabin drone? Mine doesnt have factory performance exhaust.and.concerned.how it will sound in eco.mode.

I've yet to build a C8 Model kit,but I have built the Revell 14 C7 as well as the AMT 63 C2 Split Window Fuelie model kits... Both came out fairly decent I think...

No regrets, it is loud but that's exactly what I wanted. When not In Zmode with the top up its comfortable
Lemans is louder lol, has a better tone. This one is cool too though!

I had it in Z mode. But it's the same in tour mode because I don't ha e the valves.

If you are in normal mode it's fine. Z mode definitely gets noizy
