I share the same sentiment Mike!! I also have a torch red C5 that has been tucked away since the end of October! It won’t be long until we can start enjoying driving them once again. We are going to experience our first National Corvette Caravan this summer. Looking forward to seeing all different generations of corvettes! Cheers!!

My grandparents had a house on the beach in West Vancouver that had a garage with a floor at street level and a lower floor. My Grandfather cut out a section of the floor so it was like an inspection pit underneath the car. Pretty cool although they sold the property in 1963!

Maybe I should look for lifts like yours in 1/25 scale and 1/32 scale... More room for more model builds lol😅!!

I haven't had any issues with Baldwin filters. The company I work for the company pickups are GM. The OEM/AC Delco is made in china. My theory is oil is cheap, I always change the oil in my trucks early. I also use synthetic oil at the present moment I use Pennzoil. When I had diesel pickups, it was T6 Rotella.

I use OEM Filters and Oil until the Factory warranty is up. Then I switch them to Mobil 1 Full Synthetic Oil and Mobil Oil Filter. Just my personal input.

I vote no wrap on the Vette! Would look kind of cheesy and take away from the lines of the body.

I do oil in my late 2010 Toyota Hiace SLWB which has the 1kd 3.0litre turbo diesel every 15000km too, I got it in 2017 at 312000km it is now at 629925km!! It still gets pretty much same fuel economy as when I got it. Apart from stuff like alternators, front wheel bearings and batteries its had very little done to it. Toyota make tough commercial vehicles. EDIT I do roughly 45000km per year, each oil change is 7L luckily the oil I use by NULON here in Oz comes in a 7L bottle, works out at about $100AU an oil change with filter and oil flush.

I try to be religious with my oil changes for my 2017 Silverado I’ve had the AFM issues when a lifter failed 2 years ago. Luckily I still had the GM warranty at the time with 2 weeks left

@@mikesgarage6331 it was the GM 5 year powertrain warranty. It ran out the end of April 2023 and my failure happened 2 weeks before it ended so I got real lucky.

Mike it sounds like you changed the exhuast on the C8? Don't go overboard on the red rap on the C7. Be suttle. Pin striping? And I would love to see what you are doing to the camper.
