That is the worst way to lap a valve. If you're going to use a drill you should use a rubber hose. I've seen valves get bent because a hose wasn't used.

the slightly rough finish in the intake ports is there on purpose. it creates a swirling effect, mixing the fuel with the air better. Dont polish it.
Don't smooth out the intake runners any further. It needs to be rough for better airflow. Exhaust side should be polished

Just wanted to suggest... buy a deburring tool or use an old pocket knife. MUCH easier/faster than a flat file,sandpaper,etc...
I just used vacuum hose to connect the valve stem and drill bit on the other side. Easier to connect and disconnect during valve grinding.
Safer as well that way the valve stem doesn’t get smooshed. Great thinking friend

Wet torque is probably what is specified. ARP gives you specific grease, but OE bolts probably just say wet.
If you use a lot of brake clean buy the stuff in bulk from Barsol I use A-3696
