point number 1, Do not go by the price, that it one of the oldest tricks fooling people who go by price and you are just paying full price for a fake so never go by the price.

That software checks only the real capacity of the memory card. It does not tell you if it is a real Sandisk brand or not.
it gives you read and write speeds as well so if all add up you can say you got what you paid for. In terms of it being authentic I guess you would have to run the serial number through the company and confirm it.

No man, you are confusing the fact that a card has no errors with the fact that a card is original. Tests with this software can take hours to tell you that your fake card has no errors... and that does not mean that it is original...

Hi, that's the normal size 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB. But for micro SD Sandisk made 200GB and 400GB. Other brands made 120GB, 240GB, 480GB for HDD.

Just because the software says all the memory on the card can be written to it doesn't mean the card is authentic. Check the speeds. They are using slower chips than what is claimed on the packaging.
Well this is common on all brands not just for sandisk. They advertised higher speed but will give you lower speed result not even near to what is advertised. The speed still depends on the device you use during tests, some would give you lower speed rate while others would give you higher speed result when you use different benchmark app. H2testw test result was 34.8MB/s read speed and 22.1MB/s write speed while A1 SD Bench app is at 59.77MB/s read speed and 20.86MB/s write speed. Though on the extreme pro micro sd side advertised speed is at 170MB/s read, write speed at 90MB/s I never get above 100MB/s on the read speed and above 70MB/s on the write speed. So using H2testw software for me is quite reassuring.
@@gadgetsofinfinity As long as you use USB3 or 3.1 (new version) and test a know good card to give you a benchmark for your port, you can prove without doubt, cards that show all the memory that is good but with slow speeds are fake. I have done this with over 20 eBay cards recently, not had one yet fail on the storage, but the speeds are woefully slow, some less than 10mB/s the fastest 22mB/s read, all are U1. To be doubly sure for me I use two adapter/two computers over 4 ports. I also make sure I do the visual inspection also.
Hi Paul, thanks for your insight. When you say "all the memory that is good but with slow speeds are fake cards do you have a specific bracket or range on the speed? Because we are talking about sandisk ultra version here which originally have 48MB/s read speed way back 2018 and have been upgraded to 80MB/s then became 100MB/s and now 120MB/s while write speed have always been between 10-20MB/s. The read speed for ultra has always been between 25-60MB/s based on my experience. So I want to know your speed range, because the one I presented here is an authentic sandisk ultra micro SD from Sandisk themselves. I have been a supplier of authentic sandisk memory cards for 10 years now. I hope to hear from you again. Thanks!

Most cards are labelled U1 and meet or exceed the write speeds, but the read speed is only 10 to 20mB/s.
Several cards recently are labelled U3 and still only write at between 10 to 22mB/s and read at similar speeds.
Some are labelled as both when they arrive so you know they are junk!
Most of the chips they use in the fake memory are just generic chips operating at default speed.

Hi Paul, I also refer to sdcard.org as my guide for sd cards, I have to agree with you on these statements. Lower read speed but higher write speed is wrong, U3 class speed should have at least 30MB/s write speed so lower than that means something is wrong with the card. Either the card is faulty or FAKE.
The sandisk ultra micro SD on this review passed the required write speed for U1 which is 10MB/s per sdcard.org and result was above 20MB/s.

I have to add, though the counterfeit sandisk write speed result was 20MB/s, the software managed to identify some errors on the card during tests, you know things like this is making a lot of people confused that is why I made this review to help them spot which is fake and which is authentic thru packaging, actual look of the sd card and using software like H2testw.

200GB and 400GB are the 2 vatiations available in our country. You can check that in Sandisk website. Maybe it's not available in your country.
