In Poland, making and selling counterfeit products at online auctions is a punishable offense.
Means everything you buy there is authentic?
That should be a world wide standard as it is Fraud, but most people just don't bother reporting it because it will cost you a lot of money in the long run to report it.
Another observation (as I look at yours, and the two I just bought) is that the hanger punch on the real card is a custom, rounded rectangle shape; as opposed to the standard round ended punch.
Another observation is that the 4 icon/logo in the upper right.
That the authentic is larger, compare to the fake one has small icons ~

The part about the punched out section does not mean anything because anybody could push that out already, but it is the shape and the embossing that is important. Also some of the fake ones has the 2 year warranty stamp on the packaging but on the inside top section is where the warranty is printed on the real one.

the thing is I google Sandisk Extreme V30 A2 and there are many 1TB for cheap and it sounds too good to be true, I wouldn't care if they have 250 gb as long as they have the writing speed my new 360 camera requires.
Hello, we cannot compare this to shoes. A fake nike shoes can and might be used for a long time though it depends on how you use it. For memory cards, if you use a counterfeit card, you will end up wasting money. It might work for few days or weeks but eventually it will get corrupted and damaged. In terms of performance and speed, there's a big difference. If you will be using these cards on action cams, drones, dashcams, game consoles it will not work because fake cards will not pass the required speed of these devices. Hope this helps.

I have the one in the left (front package and the SD print is the same), but with different bar code (mine start with SDSQUNC).
I tested with all the tests from rmprepusb (including H2TESTW) and they cant find any bad sectors. The speed (with my USB3 reader) was 30mb/s writes and 90mb/s reads, witch matches other review videos.
It sure looks like a fake card, but its a damn well made one.
So How do you distinguish one?
Get software to test. The chip that tells the computer is rewritten to tell the computer that the “fake” is larger capacity. The scam is simple. May even be decent quality fake, as the write speeds can fool people. So if you have a high quality 8GB card you can make is masquerade as 256GB. The profit margin’s are very high so they can afford to make v high quality packaging.

The real speed should be over 170 read and over 90 write speeds, what you have is a Sandisk Extreme in a Extreme Pro fake package, so the card will be fine but not the speeds of the Extreme Pro that you thought you bought.

Yes, to test properly you need the Sandik Pro adaptor and use a USB 3 slot.
I bought today a fake sd card from CeX :/ at least it has 2 years of warranty, one thing that I found very weird was the mention of windows phone in the box

Hi, apologies for the late response. There are ways to check prior your purchase. Mostly, sellers will not post the actual photo of the item, so it's hard to identify if it's original or counterfeit. Things you can do for validation are, check if the store is legit by looking at the overall rating and customer feedback. Another is to check if there are reviews already from those who purchased from this store specific to that item. You can also try to ask for the actual photo from the seller, if they can provide, better.
What is the difference between 128gb SanDisk Extreme Micro SD Card for gaming and the one for universal po?
If you intend to get that, go for extreme pro, it is worth it, don't get the extreme
What do you mean! there is no universal card so you buy the speed that you need, and an Extreme is not as fast as an Exteme Pro.
The biggest problem is people reading the ratings on Shopee and don't see many 1 star rating so they think it is a good seller, but the problem is that Shoppe does not let you give a rating if you return it for a refund, so if 1000 people return a fake cards they can not give a 1 star rating so you get a false rating. Shopee needs to change their rules to protect the buyers or maybe Shopee just supports the scammers because they still get their fee for every sale and don't care if people are getting scammed.

Big Time! I bought the 512 Extreme Pro Long story short. I believe this card is a fake. I have already requested a refund.
I just got this card and installed it in my GoPro 12.
When I cut on the device, it made a beeping sound and notified me that my card was not a V30 card and as such, certain features on the device will be disabled.
I updated the firmware of the device and restarted it. I also formatted the card in the GoPro and restarted it. When the GoPro came on, it immediately gave me the same error.
1. The Card did not come with a protective card storage case.
- I have purchased SanDisk cards for the last 20 years, (The only brand I use), and they always come with clear card cases for storage.
- The Card was not sealed in a protective plastic casing. It is a lot of trouble to open an authentic card. You have to cut the cardboard, then the clear plastic protective shell.
If you don't need the card for the V30 speed, then the one I got off amazon may still be a good buy.
If you are using it for "Pro" applications, then this card IS NOT FOR YOU

Hi, it's hard to tell. There could be several factors kung bakit nakaka-experience po kayo ng lagging. Pwedeng yung sa mismong phone na nila, maybe yung app is too much to handle ng phone. Pwede ding sa storage ng phone baka almost full na kaya possible na mag hang or lag. Sorry pero hindi ko masabi if this type of micro SD will resolve your concern po eh.

Hindi po naten masabi if that Otg is fake. Marami din kasing factor kung bakit nagkakaproblema yung device. Yang mga files na nilalagay naten, pwedeng may isa diyan na nagtrigger ng problem or corruption. Yung pag gamit naten, improper removal of otg drive. Ilan lang ito sa possible cause ng corruption ng mga storage devices.

Hi, the lower capacities (counterfeit) are few dollars difference to 128GB, the 128GB authentic card that I used here is intended to be used on my action camera plus majority of consumers now use 128gb and above capacities so I thought this is the best capacity to demo 😊

Found this Video After i purchased a Fake Sandisk Ultra 128G SD Card from a Large well known Established Computer Store so it's not only online but in actual stores you may trust. Plus the reviews of Real Sandisk SD cards are not good because they are now using a cheaper micro controller inside the SD card which causes compatibility problems as well as the SD card does not last more than a few days to a Month with Video recordings even though the cards are advertised for HD Video and Speeds up to 100 or 120Mbps. It is a Joke, Actual Sandisk SD card Speeds are 14-20Mbs at the Max. Best to AVOID Sandisk as a Brand Altogether.
