Why I LOVE The MG GM Sniper II! (1/100 Gunpla REVIEW)

- My opinion of the MG GM Sniper II model kit changed pretty quick after I built it for myself and discovered solutions to my two biggest issues with it (one of which is a VERY common problem - the finger connection). I really do wish I was able to get this up sooner, but unfortunately I had a very chaotic week that prevented me from being able to sit down and properly record anything up until now.

Just finished this kit- it’s a real blast! One of my favorite MG kits so far. Some weird proportions here and there but overall still really cool. And those cutaways in the legs and elbows are a little odd because the in the OVA they’re blue, but in official finished painted images they’re grey- weird huh

2:21 gonna stop you there the circles are actually not grey on the original design so its not bandsis fault
Jetfire48 but when you portray it as gray in completed painted images on the box then its legitimate criticism
I ended up having a problem with the hands despite trying my hardest to apply even pressure, so as a quick fix I put a little bit of sticky tack in the gap and now the hands stay in perfectly and can still be swapped.
It worked for me a little too well...

I'm probably the only one that wants this but i would love to see a MG GM sniper K9. I love the different colors of green on the HG and makes it more able to blend in on earth then the GM sniper II and it wouldn't take much for bandai to make it happen *sighs* i can always dream lol.merry christmas 2S and another great review

i got the black one, its one of my favorites, i too had an issue. but it was the arm connecting to the shoulder. it just dropped off. so i fixed it myself. great kit tho an good vid
I hope Bandai makes the complex design of the articulation a tradition for their future MG kits. with all these on a grunt suit, it leaves me begging for these mechanisms on a MG G-gundam

That elbow is double jointed I have one and the elbow splits away from the wrist armor

Channel 2S: Gunpla News and Reviews this is the most honest and detailed review of that Kit I have seen so far. All My doubts about buying it, have vanished
When I built my gm sniper, I found that both of my legs were extremely loose. They easily fell apart and I can only get it into a standing pose. I realized that the pegs connected to the waist were pushing each other, so one leg is able to stay sturdy while the other falls apart easily. I don't know how to fix this. Please send help
+Stepping On Legos are you sure you have the hips assembled correctly? The two pegs on the joint unit are different lengths, you might just have them plugged in to the wrong holes.
Stepping On Legos maybe you haven't pushed the pegs in far enough.
@Channel 2S I may have, but when I tried doing the other way it came out as the same result.
@Quinn rayner When I push a peg farther, the opposite peg gets pushed out.
+Stepping On Legos sand down the ends of the pegs until they're short enough that they don't push each other.

Also: 2s you Are the gunpla god so please Hear my praise: I saw that the Gundam Wikia Listed the hg hot scramble as a hg so I want you to beg with me: make it retail bandai and make it good. Its Like the scramble, a Design that I already Like with better wings and one of my favourite weapons, wich Are funnels/Bits/dragoons and its piloted by one of the only memorable Pilots of try (and the better bf(I really think try had waaaayyy to op Main Charakters and Plot armor and fumina definitly had Quite some Plot -___-))

The holes in the legs are accurate and doesn’t need to be modified

So, you built the left thumb correctly, but the right thumb you did not. Amusing.
you know why bandai started making back skirt into a perm fixed position, try doing it yourself. same with all those 360 neck, waist and arm. They are unnatural and stop pointing them out.
gunpla models should be able to be posed in any way if wanted. What if I wanted a gunpla to look like it's twisting the gm sniper's neck? or its arm is being pulled out from its back?
