Surprisingly enough, the HG of the White Dingo GM Sniper 2 is actually really great and has alot of good extras (besides the Bloodhound vehicle, its also got a GM ground type head, soldier figurines, and a rail cannon[bazooka] ) and yes, the beam sniper rifle is color separated.

@@peyparoni its accessories are the same spru from the gundam groundtype, i think it was called hard graph series there was also a zaku 2 that came with the tanks and hover bikes seen in 08th ms team, there great sets and i highly recomend

I feel your pain. One of my white whales was the hg Cathedral gundam. I just was enamored with the look of it! I finally got it, built it, and was like 'meh'. Oh well. What can you do?

One of the best variants to one of the best GM descendants! Absolutely love the White Dingo Squadron's Unique MS, they're all pretty fun takes on already amazing Mecha designs!
Congrats! I've had two holy grails, figuarts Thanatos from Persona 3 (came out before I got into figures) and RAH Unit-01 (expense and me being a student at release). Nothing quite like the feeling of nailing those grail kits/figures. I've been lucky in that both lived up to expectations.
I've been building for almost a year. My white whale was the ZZ Ver Ka. I knew one of the sites I watch was getting a shipment in, they gave an update on Twitter around roughly when their new stock would be pushed live, and I sat there with tabs open for the ZZ and the HG Zeta 2.0 for about 2 hours. And it's a good thing I did. They got 12 ZZs in and they were all sold out within 2 minutes.
Remember, kids - have your payment info saved on your usual sites. It can be the difference between finally getting your dream kit and having to wait another year or more! I have no doubt in my mind that if I had had to've put in my payment info manually I wouldn't have made it.

Nice review as always. Still haven't built mine yet. I mainly bought this kit for the blue/white colour scheme, as well as that shield. Looks awesome!
The White Dingo GM Sniper is one of my favorite suits ever so I grabbed this kit a couple years ago and weathered it. I actually love the PG styled hands and find that they're perfect for holding those new weapons once you get the grip tight enough. I will admit that the 20+ year old molds for the new weapons are a disappointment though. Since I already have an MG Ez-8 I didn't even bother building the MG, Bazooka, and Beam Rifle
Also some extra things about the kit:
-it comes with the original GM Sniper II rifle with a fixed hand to hold it, albeit with no back
-the holes on the side of the beam rifle are for the wires that connect to the generator from the GM Sniper I
-the bazooka came from the MG Ez-8 only. The MG Ground Gundam gets the 180mm cannon instead.
Overall despite it's flaws, I absolutely love this kit and it has to be one of my favorite MGs of all time.
This is the PBandai Syndrome, so many awesome looking kits locked behind the PBandai door and then the unique parts aren't up to scratch. I'm used to it from HG kits, but not a "Master Grade". The GM itself is gorgeous though!
Back then during 00 gundam anime was released and aired 2013-2014 in my country, i always wanted mg 00 raiser so bad but it was expensive and i was a kid, then i only managed to get rg ver in 2018 since mg ver still expensive for me. Last month i pulled the trigger and go all out with mg XN raiser and i say im satisfied with it. Long goal achieved 😁

Funny. I got one of mine this weekend: the MG Double X. Here in Costa Rica is next to impossible to find. I've been after it for the last 2 years.
My absolute favorite suit other than Barbatos, finally picked mine up a year ago with the white ding GM to pair with it.

I actually have a few kits that I consider my holy grails, but out of all of them, the most elusive kit for me is the 1/100 Grimgerde
My holy grail is the mg msv full armor. That thing is way harder to find than you'd think

@@NoName-wr2nm not sure about that, the armor on the MSV full armor is held on with double sided tape while the Thunderbolt Ver Ka uses actual tabs
There was a reprint of it recently, but I think it was exclusive to China. I got one from Aliexpress (arrived already) and it has the blue bandai logo instead of the old red.
The only downside is that the box arrived a little smashed, but no parts were loose or broken

For me my holy grail was the MG Gundam X. I was on the same boat, I missed so many chances in getting one and nowadays, the kit just suddenly became rare. I was finally able to secure one some few days ago and just waiting for it to arrive
Hey! You should do a series of rating all the specific weapons from all your gunpla ( Beam rifles, Beam Sabers, Ect.). I just think it'd be cool to see what weapons from all the Gunpla you've built are your favorites.
I’m hunting the old Victory kits from the 90’s. I got one of the original accessory packs as a birthday gift from a friend.
I quite like this colourscheme. The default version's weird blue/green never really sat well with me.
I've actually tested these colours on other MS via GBO2 and they looked rather handsome in the white & blue. Just a shame the other White dingo lads were in that awful steel grey...
I'd love to have this kit but i've no time for MGs, let alone P-Bandai ones. :(
Actually the white color is easy target to get shoot. The only situation white color works around snow scenery. Also grey, black or green works in almost every situation that's why real life military didn't use color such as white, red or yellow..
Mech, the slots for the sniper rifle is for a small piping piece that is included with it, not for another kit’s function
My holy Grail is the Metal Build Exia which is still missing in my collection. My second grail which I obtained recently is the Robot Spirits GM Command Space ver ANIME. Cost me about $150 but I love it.
My holy grail kit was the HG Altas Gundam Bandit Flower version and I finally got it a few months ago through Buyee actually
My Holy Grail isn't out yet, and I never thought it would be! Can't wait for that RG God Gundam this summer!
I've said this before, I think, but the sniper rifle is the same one that came with the 08th MS Team's Ground Type GM kit and if I remember correctly, there were VERY small parts that went into the holes that were on the runner. The only way you could get the kit to hold it was to have a specially molded hand just for the sniper rifle that was a sandwich type to hold it at the angle you had it at. Very tight and held on like it should've done with the other weapons.
The GM turbulence was the mobile suit that got me into customizing gunpla. I wanted to make something as close as I could to it. It recently got a reprint and I’m waiting for it to be shipped over.
I need that thunderbolt GM!!! Also the big gun set! I’ve missed them on mercari twice and I haven’t slept a full night since...
yeah. I was disapointed when i found out about those hands.
I end up getting the Bandai MG HD builder hands and some resin sniper rifles from Simp Parts but i haven't built any of those yet. =(
Oh wow we have the same holy grail 😆 because i want to complete the white dingo team. Im gonna be using photo etched parts to embellish and probably buy a third party replacement hands as for the weapons, will probbably check if there is a good replacement... nice timing on the review. More power to your channel.
My Holy Grail was the Wing Zero Proto Zero MG. Finally got my hands on it and gonna start construction soon.

When I got my kit last year I was very happy to get it since I miss the boat on the standard GM Sniper 2. The WD kit is pretty much the same as the other but with the extra weapons. I was disappointed with the Beam sniper that is from the other kit but still I wanted to try something different. Look up me build of it and you will see what I did with it. I will send you an image on your social media accounts as well.

For some reason (mainly that I worship G Gundam), my holy grail is the 1/60 God Gundam. I also want to get the RG God Gundam and GaoGaiGar now.
In a perfect world, we'd have a PG God Gundam already.
10:52 the holes on the side of the sniper rifle should be connected by a 'cable' piece (I 15). you can see it in the promo pictures, maybe you missed it during assembly?

I would like to see your attempts to modify / fix the weapons with this kit.
Seamline cement and some basic masking and painting could make a big difference and I think you have the skills to do it.

My two are the Full Armor Unicorn (Ver Ka or RG) and the HG Kshatriya. Did get gifted a HG FA Unicorn so I’m happy for now :)
I had both white dingo and the normal gm sniper 2, i just ditched the 3.0 hands and used the swappable type hands. And for me its all good.
My holy grail kit would be the HGUC Neo Zeong. I actually had one pre-ordered when it was announced years ago but according to our country's Customs, the package was "lost" which pretty much meant some corrupt customs official got their kid a Neo Zeong for Christmas. Should've bought one while we still had stocks of it. I'm still on the hunt for it but I'd rather buy it on its retail price as much as possible.
As for holy grail figures, mine would be the Metal RD Infinite Justice.

This was my Holy Grail kit too, but I was so pissed I thought myself how to paint just so I can get the Rifle to the correct color! The best part bandai was just nah grey rifle
I just got finished with the MG GM Ground Type. I thought I was stupid because I had to use tape to get it to hold its weapons.
Your comments of dated features ring true for the Deep Striker I'm working on. Pretty sure some of the base S Gundam is from old kit.
Right now, holy grail kits are the P-Bandai Jesta variants, the Cannon & the Shezaar types.

I really love the gundam geminass design so when I see it's box is a full color i was soo happy it was a retail realease but when i watch the review it was a p bandai and now the price is super out of my budget
funnily enough my holy grail was actually the classic MG gm sniper ii itself !!! it's one of the first gunplas i've seen when starting my hobbies and after 6 or 7 months of pondering where i could find it i managed to get my hands on it last month ♫

I was ecstatic when my gunpla supplier finally got hold of some 30 minute sisters kits.
so what I find hilarious about that beam rifle is that's the Ground Type Gundam's Beam Rifle and even the HG version of that rifle is in white and grey, so the fact they didn't do that for the MG is really bad
I think this is a P-Bandai aspect, at least at that point in time. This product is aimed at experienced builders, just like the Astray Noir was.
These weapons really need to have a notch carved out to match the hands.
mine was the RG Destiny Heine Westenfluss. I wanted it so bad that I had to go to Japan and search for the kit myself.

My holy grails are the HG Gabthley, HG Zaku III, and the MG EX-S. I’ve seen them around every now and then but I can never justify the insane prices
Yeah I got my white whale and that was denial gundam I loved it’s design and the effects parts but they were a pain to put on and the stickers barely stuck
Gonna have to call put his complaint about the PG style hands. I've 10 or so kits that use that style of hand, some being over a year old now, and they have no issue holding to weapons. Out of all the build I only ever had issues with the fingers was my first time with the hands and it's due to how rough I was setting the fingers in place. And with how lazy Mecha is it wouldn't surprise me he was too. But after I learned to be gentle with the initial positioning I've had no issues with them and they have become my favorite style of hand.

for my holy grail ms was the RG Hi Nu.
as soon as the RG Nu was announced. i held off from buying it because i was hoping for a RG Hi Nu.
and come last year i finally got mine.
The white dingo is literally an MG kitbash with an alternate paint job.
You could have easily made your own version with parts from the GM Sniper and Sniper II.
Hobby Frontline has sold this a few times in the last year or so and I've missed it every time
My holy grail is the HGUC Psycho Gundam and I am well aware of its faults before I saw your video so it's always hard to push myself to make that purchase.
Heads up. At 10:50 That slot isn't suppose to be hollow. there's a small cable piece that's suppose to be there on the sniper rifle has. You probably missed it on the runners.
My Holy Grail for quite a long time is the HG OO QanT cuz it's just so rare to get here in the Philippines I was so hyped when I got it but right after I built it I was like "there goes my money" but it's a cool simple kit though ngl

This version of the GM sniper is so cool looking. It’s unfortunate that the weapons and hands are crap kind of a let down. Sorry that it took you super long to get this thing just to figure out it wasn’t what you were expecting. At least it looks cool
i bought the MG Zaku IIS *char custom* a while back and while i thought the articulated hands were cool. untill i started trying to put weapons into their hands. i had a much better time with the GM sniper 2 and Jegan i have since the AGE hands are so nice to use
10:52 No, no, no, no. That sniper rifle is TOTALLY designed for the mg gm sniper.
...ok, it was the gm sniper that is just green gm ground type. The slots are there because this sniper rifle has a huge, water tower like power supply. So yeah, it is for a 1999 kit.
Actually theres a cable there that he missed. It's also molded from the ground type first before the gm sniper itself.
Fun fact: the hg comes with a white and gray sniper rifle and the original and a hover truck and rail cannon
Built the hg in January and that is correct. It has 1 runner of the ground gundam ground war set. Also has some extra stickers, and 2 tiny eff soldiers.

My holy grail kit was the ANA Unicorn Gundam. I just sent it back to the US from Japan with a bunch of other kits by ship. I hope it makes it ok. Surface mail doesn't have tracking.

At 10:52 you mention slots that don't seem to be used for anything. You forgot to add a small part. It's greeble that looks like a small wire that connects between those two slots. You can see it at 4:53 in the art and on the runner at 5:33 on the right side. I remember this rifle very well. It was on my MG GM Ground Type that I built in the mid 2000's and was my first MG that I built. I never did get rid of the seem line down the center.
would it be possible to use the tab in the hand as a kind of stop for the weapon handles? I know there's no where for them to tab in, but maybe the tab could handle some of the finger's job?
This is also my grail kit. I didn’t know about the hands but I did know the weapons were very basic.

GM Sniper 2 is not a grunt suit. It's an elite Ace suit and in many ways it outperformed the gundams of it's era.
Would it be possible to use the AGE hands from one of the other GM master grades on this kit - would they be more compatible with the included weapons than the PG hands? Great looking kit otherwise
I have an unfinished GM sniper II that I can steal the hands off (they do fit).

If you take suggestions, I'd love a review on the Origin Zaku Half-Cannon and how kitbashable it might be?
I own that kit. If you have other Origin Zaku II kit its practically the same kit. Means its one of the best HG Zaku II. You have two option for the backpack. A long range cannon on the shoulder or a gatling gun.
I gave the backpack to the Origin Zaku II C-6/R6 and planning to customize the Half Cannon.
You know, I was looking forward to this guy as well. It's a sniper unit, with cool colors to boot. That said, it's sad to know that OOB, this is a sniper unit that can't use the sniper weapon, and is delegated to close or mid range combat instead. I mean, you could probably make use of that in canon UC, but this is a gunpla. What's more, we know Bandai reuses stuff with PBandai, so they could have just included the regular weapons and probably the hands as well. At least with that, it could have used a sniper rifle instead.
My dream kit would either be a mg gm striker or an iron blooded orphans version of the gm striker
My holy grail is the MG Altron EW. So glad p-bandai did a re-release of it.
I suppose my white whale is the HG Destiny Gundam Heine Westenfluss Ver. I don't even really like the Destiny but I quite liked Heine's brief time in the show. He was the only normal guy in Zaft, sort of filled the void in the series left behind by Mu.

I never really thought of it but I guess that my holy grail kit would probably be an HG Geara Zulu, either the guard type or the regular type. You can find them online but they're way too overpriced so I haven't ever gotten one

bandai should release a set of upgraded hands and weapons for specific old kits.
My Holy grain haven't been rerelease since 2014 and it was listed as This item is discontinued and is not expected to come back into stock by HLJ.
It's nice they give 3.0 hands for this MG.
