@@leonardode-pinchy3234 the number not apart of the clocks represent the decade (00, 10), the clocks numbered 0-9 represent the year, and the clock numbered 1-9 with xyz at the end represents the month.
for example: i have this one random polycap runner. the number outside the clocks is 10, the year clock points to 9, and the month clock points to z. this means it was made in december, 2019

Fun Fact: the Testament Gundam is ZAFTs version of the Strike to test the Striker Packs. It's basically a nuclear reactor strike, with a virus system that renders radar and electronics useless, from the same line of gundams as Freedom.

@@cocobill0077 But that is more of Bandai's kit making decision, they could have easily reused the Freedom/Justice/Providence frame and still have it compatible with the Striker packs just like how the MG Destiny Impulse/Astray Noir mold is.
In lore it has a ZGMF frame not a GAT one like the kit, it's not a deal breaker but I wish it was more accurate.
It uses its antena to send viruses to nearby suit and jamming thier cam...

Fun Fact About the Divine Striker pack the wings and claws are supposed to work in tandem, the claws holding the enemy suit in place while the wings spin around and then cut into said suit like a pair of giant scissors. Also those barrels are Gatling guns used for when the claw is holding down the enemy suit to inflict more damage.
Search out SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays if you want an idea of how it attacks.
So the poor soul that gets caught by it is simultaneously crushed, cut in two, and shot.

Since it bothered you, the reason the pistols have the model number modeled on the same side is because in the manga the Testament only had the ONE pistol, only gaining a second, very different pistol later in the series as an upgrade.
No he does have 2 of the ones included, the different one later with the knife tip added was Katie Madigan's custom pistol (which he equips on all his various MS)
This Astray is three times faster than regular Astray
Edit: It's not an Astray but still, It 3 times faster than average XD

That’s just a rumor. It’s probably been upgraded, and the whole “painting your mech red will triple its speed and power” shtick was all Char’s idea.

Very cheap, intended for mass production, less advanced copies of the G-Plan suits more like. Orb help the Alliance produce the Strike, but also stole partial plans, and thus made the Astrays. TLDR: half gundam, half GM, way cooler looking.

Yeah the inner frame of the Astray units is based off of the Prototype series built on heliopolis the only thing they didn't get from that was the phase shift armor but that's okay thanks to the foaming metal armor it's made out of it's lighter and has a longer operating time. And that's also why the high grades for the astrays like the red frame with flight unit and the blue frame second l have the same Peg attachment as the rest of the striker packs which means you could mount a gun barrel strike Striker pack onto a gold frame amatsu Mina. yeah and in the end the main difference was the operating system and the armor materials

Am a real fan of the Testament and the Astray Outframe...I got the Dragon Momoko version and was super stoked when this kit was announced so I preordered as soon as I can.
I bought Outframe too! It's what started me in the hobby. And now P-Bandai released it.
pre ordered this kit back in June when it showed up on P-bandai's site since I LOVE this things design and its finally showing up on monday with this video only getting me even more excited for it to come in. Glad to hear its a good kit.

It'd be nice to be true. Since it's not that expensive to commission some one make the 3d avatar since it'd be just attaching v fin on a skeleton "which I'm sure there are free skeleton 3d designs out there."

it looks so damn sturdy, my mg duel has taken a high shelf dive and survived with only a break on the front skirt (this forced me to fix/mod it so its no longer so damn flimsy) so I am counting the days until a reissue!

I wanted this so much. It’s just so expensive everywhere, and I just think it looks amazing, so I’m at an unfortunate stalemate
I just got mine in today. One of my regular stores I use got ONE in each randomly. Cheapest was $109.00 (USD) with a little off with a cyber Monday code, kind of ridiculous but with the coupon code it’s probably the best deal I’ll be able to find on a brand new one from a retailer so I just bit the bullet and got it. Been wanting one for around a year or so. Hopefully P Bandai will have another run of them in the near future.

@@ilikegiantrobots1775 amazon is one of the worst places to buy gundam models in my experience, its rare to see good deals there but if you really in wanting it can be a solution (for some rolf, dragon astray red mg is like 300 or more euros in amazon like stupid ridiculous)

On bandai’s website they had an image of the backpack attached to the arm like a giant claw
It actually doesn't attach to the arm. The backpack is on an arm and it can wrap around to the side, looking like it is on the arm.

The only series of gundam everyone despise (the story not the unit design, some are dope) is G-Reco.
@@ap_trial666 To me, G-Reco feels like half of the story is missing. The pacing at the first half of the series is what you would call normal, while the second half is rushed. Like, they were prepared for 50 episodes, but around episode 15 they were told that the series will only get 25 episodes. This is the best way I can explain how I felt about it.

I really loved building this kit. The SEED frame goes together so well. I can't wait for them to release an Astray Out Frame with this kit as the base.

Well when it comes to that you just have to paint it up and change the V fin. But yeah it's probably going to be a p Bandai exclusive and the sad thing is we're never going to get this as a high grade so people like me who have loved this thing since 2005 have to kitbash to make our own but thankfully parts from the astray and from the Blitz and from the freedom it's just getting the shoulders and making the custom Striker pack is the main issue

Yup, I kind of dig the default light greys colorization with the gold v-fin myself. Though this looks pretty in red as well.

I'd be down for seeing this in 1/144 to be sure. I'm not the biggest fan of either Seed or herpes, but I make exceptions for Astray and Astray-like kits. Only issue I have with MG is a lack of space.
EDIT: I kind of want those claws on a Moon Gundam bash...
That mystery configuration for the pack reminds me of the delta astray's pack.

As far as the beam pistols, brand/model number engravings on actual handguns are typically asymmetrical like that (on a majority of the ones I own anyway).

It also has two sets of Pistols, 2 Handgun Types and 2 Revolver Types.

Can you do a comparison of this MG and the dragon momoko testament that released some years ago? It would be cool to see how 3rd party mg's compare to the official one, in spite of 3rd party releasing earlier

If I had to hazard a guess, the unexplained backpack configuration might be a Voiture Lumiere system like the Stargazer, Turn Delta, and Red Frame Kai have. None of the Testament Gundam's concept art shows it with the wings in that configuration, so just shooting from the hip here.

The extra wing gimmick for the divine striker is to use it as a huge ass claw. It's just a new feature that's been added when Bandai made this in MG, and as far as I know, I don't think the wing claw was used in the manga.
they mention this in the p-bandai testament Gundam page so I guess they omitted the instructions assuming you read the page when buying it, but the whole things in Japanese and Bandai only ships to limited places so yeah I think would have been better for them to add some bit of instructions.

I've used that gundam before, on the video game SD Gundam G Generation Crossrays.
We are so close to the perfect 1/100 articulated hands, The one for Sazabi ver ka is almost perfection. Sadly the majority of gunplaers, including gunpla youtubers preferred this fixed posed hands. And bandai followed suit. But maybe its just me. Who swish swish their mastergrades while working. And found it annoying to hunt for the needed hand option everytime I change poses for my gunpla.
Do they all have the same connection points for the waist I kinda wonder what this would look like with the busters guns attached with that big ass claw
Now this is a must buy no matter what it costs.
No matter what you say, I still think the Testament Gundam is what the Astray would look and be like if it had the Seed Frame like the Strike RM
Hmm. The claw forms of that Striker Pack makes me think of what you would get if you combined: the Buster Shield claw from the anime version Gundam Deathscythe, the bigass single Dragon Hang (shouldn't it be *FANG*!?) from Shenlong Gundam EW, and the Dragon Arms from Dragon Gundam.

we sorta have that with the Gundam AGE Advanced Grade kits that comes with microchips for scanning into the GAGE-ING arcade game.
There’s a free mobile game app called “Gundam Battle: Gunpla Warfare” and from what I know, it’s official. It’s already 1.5 years old and I’ve been playing it for a while now. The customization is great, except you have to get the parts to customize, and the only real problem is that if you want really hard to get gunpla parts, you’d better be prepared to spend cash. It’s definitely playable without spending a dime, since I play like that.

The Alt form for the backpack reminds me of the Voiture Lumiere Propulsion System that the Astray Red Frame Kai uses which is the same thing Stargazer Gundam's back unit is for so it could be something similar if not the same thing.
No, but the truth is the wing flipped forward to be a giant scissors like kyrios's shield & used in tandem with the claw.
Basically the little claw hold enemy's suit in place for the giant ass scissors to do its deed & if somehow the pilot can still survive the dual beam gatling gun will finish it off.
And if you ask me, that's one nasty device.

Fun fact, when the ZGMF-X12A (RGX-00) Testament is equipped with the AQM/E-X05 pack it’s technically called the Divine Testament Gundam, and can only be properly handled whilst wearing a long sleeve mesh shirt apparently
