- This video is technically a reupload of a previous review. However, I had to take it down and swap out the music, so I decided to make some updates. Below are the notes for the original version, followed by the notes for this updated version.
- Review number 20! I need a more productive hobby lol
- This is the first review to have massive gaps in production. I honestly wrote the review, did audio a month later, then recorded footage another month after that, and finally edited a week after that. It was weird, but also kinda nice to break it up. Downside was I had that constant nagging feeling lol. I also forgot what I was going for along the way and would sometimes ask “wait, what was this shot for again?”
- This is my first review I’ve edited on a new laptop. Moving from a 2012 i5 processor to a 2017 i7 is quite the jump! It’s cool to not have Adobe products crash every 30 minutes. I am a little upset at Windows 10 though… I shouldn’t have to mess around in Powershell to uninstall Bing Weather. Still, made editing a lot faster.
- This encoded in 10 minutes O_O. On my old laptop, it took 4 hours. I don’t even understand.
- Something seems off with the color balance. Not sure what. I probably should’ve white balanced at the beginning. Since I reuse the same lights, I can normally get away with skipping it, but I guess over time things can get slightly off.
- I cut out the major gimmick of the visor pulling down. I phrased it weird in the review, and didn’t want to rerecord it, so I just cut it. It’s a fairly obvious feature to anyone interested in this kit, so I don’t feel too bad skipping it.

- Finally done with these 'updated' reviews. AAAHHHH~~
- Quick recap: because of some stuff with the old background music, I've had to take down and re-edit all my videos to use new music. Along the way I decided it'd be cool to 'update' each one to get them up to par with my newer videos. It was a very tedious process, but I think it'll be worth it in the long run. I ended up doing 15 of these things though! It took 6 months!
- Completely re-recorded audio based on an updated script
- Completely re-done scores. The original scores weren't quite accurate, and kind of boring.
- Re-editing all the footage to sync to the new audio track.
- Much improved color filter to make that blue really pop
- Added more cut-in's and overlays to spice it up
- Added GM split screen stuff
- New title card. Not my best work, but I just wanted to finish this quick, so whatever lol
- New music. I tried to lower the music audio. I've been noticing the videos I binge the most don't have music at all, and instead focus on the speaker. My audio quality is finally getting to the point where I might be able to pull something like that off.
- Updated all the font, changed the colors, specifically from blue to green. There was just too much blue, so had to change it up.
- Added in a bunch of cut material from the original script, leading to this review being a minute or two longer
- I found this audio was really paced well when I recorded it, so there was very little audio editing. Kind of refreshing, because I hate audio editing lol.
- There was some kind of glitch when it's panning through the fingers in the articulation section that caused the colors to alter. I'm not entirely sure why. It went away when I hit the GM hand insert shot there, so I wonder if it's something to do with the contrast adjustment filter. Anyway, I fixed it by muting the adjustment layer and instead having that color filter apply directly to the that specific clip, then fade back in the adjustment layer when that clip fades out.
- Man, I'm so burned on re-opening old program files... but it's DONE! Imma go have a drink now lol

I just need to say, this is such an underrated channel. When I search for Gunpla reviews, youtube rarely recommends your channel, but once I found it I search for it specifically when I want a good review. For whatever reason, I like your chill style a lot, and you seem to cover exactly what I want to know about a kit, unlike a lot of other reviewers who talk about stuff I'm not really interested in.
Nothing like buying an MG impulsively and watching your review to justify my purchase HAHAHAH
I really really love this kit....since it released, it was kind of my wishlist kit back then. Struggled to saved my money and at last i could bought this sniper mecha (wow your review bringing back my happy memories about this kit) - until now, again and again i still revisiting this kit...though it's non major mecha in gundam universe...and it has simple looks, but really fun to build, posing and detailing...love it 3000!

I personally prefer swappable fingers over poseable hands in MG kits. I prefer stability overall in a kit

I must say, despite watching most of the anime before I buy any gunpla, I really don't care for the anime accurate, I prefer my mecha to look as cool and "realistic" as possible, that being said, I really enjoy your reviews, it's nice to see your perspective and your style is review length is pretty great as well, also, I love your intro, it looks so cool

Interesting how this kit reminds me of my hguc gm quel, average torso with fat legs. Any chance you could do a mg gogg review?
anyone else having issues with the c clips in the legs? I find that they pop out and block the legs from moving, forcing me to take it apart and clip them back in. If it happens again I'll try cement some plastic to close up the clip but I don't really want to risk fusing the clip to the frame and screw up the leg for good
Nobody is allowed to talk any kind of crap about this kit. It's amazing
I really like the way this kit is built (though I'd probably get the space command kit instead), but I just can't get over how thin the waist is and how much smaller the chest is. Just wouldn't look right next to the rest of the kits on my shelf.
2:01 what do you do for things like that? im having those problems as well on other kits and i cant really make it look good so i just erase em and leave it be
It depends on the kit for me, but you can buy a scribing or engraving tool that helps you cut into the line to deepen and lengthen it. I've found they work really well, but you have to be super careful, as if you might accidentally make additional cuts in the plastic. Still, I've had good results with them. Best of luck!
i like this original color, but too bad i got the Clear colored version, after look at the completed kit, still like this original color or the p-bandai version.
Dude, can u review MG exia? I want to hear your opinion about that kit. Is it worth to buy or not, since that kit come from 2009 (i guess)...
Unless you love that design, and you need it in 1/100 scale, I’d recommend getting the RG instead.
Heard that the newer copies have improved joints. So if it doesn't have the blue logo then it most likely has loose joints
What is the use if the Sniper Scope if there is the visor?
That's always confused me too. But hey, it looks cool! And when it comes to giant robots, that's all I ask lol
The one thing i didnt like about this kit is the blue color scheme. If the ms is a sniper, shouldnt it be more camouflaged in color? The Lydo wolf version of this kit has better color scheme but its xpensive just for a color swap.
Tbf u could apply that to every suit. Like how many military vehicles do you see in a bright red or white?

Nothing wrong with that. To each their own! I'm just thinking that Robot Damashii ver A.N.I.M.E. is more my style lol. Bulky, and blocky is where it at imo.
I've got the "crystal" version of this kit. It's alright, of course transparent plastic makes the nubs pretty much impossible to get rid of. I kind of wish I'd bought the original version.
One thing i don’t like about this kit is how lanky it looks, especially with the overly long arms
bandai should undergate all master grade runners. super nova already undergate most of their kits.
careful with choosing free music sometimes even if it says free still not totally free.
That whole situation was a mess. I actually did have the rights for the music through a school I was going to at the time, but the company changed a few policies and began asking for $500 a year. I said 'no', then the next day I had a few claims. So technically, I was in the right, but I'm not looking to go to court over a 3,000 subscriber toy review channel lol. On the bright side though, all these updated reviews are much improved over the originals, so it makes the channel much more consistent.
yeah right now the channel is not that big to go to court LOL. anyway as always waiting for your next review. hope you got to review MG Gelgoog soon.
Kinda funny how everyone worships this kits when I thought it was absolute shit. All the nubs to hold the joints in are WAY to short and they fall out for both arms and legs.
For me i have this... but this kit is so boring.
