Not only were they helping him with his tie, but they were being a mother or a father to him and giving him advice. Very wholesome.
I heard Korean and my head flooded with the red light green light music from Squid Game.
That would have been a hilarious thing to add, incidentally.

Jeannie is not the only one who cried for this
Yeah she’s so sweet and kind that she cries when people help someone out and wish them luck on something that’s important to them, that’s our adorable panda queen
yes mine too , Jeannie is just priceless and adorable
I had a mental breakdown there and had to pause the video. Lost my last job (not because of Covid) and it was kind of my only purpose in life, so it meant a lot for me and depressions kicked in, i was without a job for over a year, but now i got a new job.
The depression will never go away completely, though. It's in moments like in this video, where they come back like a flood.
*Devils... Monsters starts playin-* Nope, not that kind of Flood.
Chief: "Worse."
...How i started a serious comment and ended with another Halo reference... what the hell... But that describes it perfectly. Library on legendary is a joke compared to real depression.
Jeannie: "Would you sleep with my best friend to save my life?"
Henry: *actually tries to answer the question*
Me before he even answers: "The only winning move is not to play!"
The savage response to this question: "Well, you're alive right now aren't you, so I guess it worked"
One answer would be, "aren't I your best friend?"
@@euroker05 Or : "You don't have friends."

Me: "... fuck"
Henry calls a rooster a turkey, and a praying mantis a grasshopper. Henry's animal antics is the reasoning why I keep coming back!
I think the chicken/turkey was on purpose....

Seeing Jeannie become so emotional to the GOOD works of people was Heart Warming and Wrenching. Adorable!
I had a guy on the subway ask me to tie his tie for him one time. He was a heavier guy, kinda disheveled, sweating a bit and looked super nervous. He was going to an interview. I helped and tied it for him and taught him while I did it. I hope he got the job or at the very least I hope he remembered how to tie the tie. He was a nice guy.
Yeah I'd definitely teach him, too, a valuable important life lesson.
"Bro don't you have a phone, look that shit up, are you gonna expect people to do everything for you at work, too?"
He probably won't remember how to tie a tie from your lesson, but mine will stick with him. You gave him a fish, but i taught him how to learn to fish, store it, gut it, cook it, and serve it.
You taught him to rely on others to do his work, and I taught him to be self sufficient.
@@rustylee1836 Yeah i watched multiple tutorials and still don't know how to tie a tie, i forget it immediately
I was the interviewer, and a teenager approached me for help with his tie not knowing I was the interviewer. I asked him he was even trying to wear a tie for a minimum wage job. His answer was that he, "needed this job and needed them to know he was serious about wanting to work."
Who gives a shit if he already knows how to tie a tie? I needed him to make popcorn and sell movie tickets. His attitude taught me everything I needed to know about his character.
His willingness to ask for help on a task, a task that he would now know how to accomplish effectively, showed that he wouldn't pretend to have knowledge that he didn't actually possess.
To clarify, as a manager I find the employees who ask to be taught are the ones most capable of learning. The ones who know how to whip out a phone tend to need that phone to do all of their learning...at a much slower pace.

I came here for the laughs, but the tie part was so wholesome and sweet to watch, reminds me that there are a good chunk of people who are really kind towards strangers
Yeah like wow I didn’t expect that
The vast majority of people are kind and helpful towards strangers. Don't let all the online trolls, road ragers, and media focused only on negativity skew your impression of society. When push comes to shove, most people will help each other out. In dropped wallet experiments, not only are most wallets returned, but increasing the amount of money in the wallet results in a higher percentage of the wallets (and money) being returned. Like people know it's rough to lose that much money, so they put in the extra effort to make sure it gets back to you.
That tie part really got me. If only more people would did that when I was job hunting. Also I've never seen Kai before in their blogs. That one post made me want to see more of the editors.

"Are you proud"
No Jeannie, I felt a wide range of emotions, but pride was not one of them. It was mostly a combination of shock, fear, and respect
that was my comment on that
Henry: grasshoppers are willing to die for sex.
Me: for crying out loud, those are praying mantises.
Henry seems to have a lack of basic knowledge regarding animals in general. Time to go back to grade school?
@ 9:52 I remember when I worked at a department store. A teenager walked thru the door and said that he needed a tie for prom and he only had a few hrs.. His clothes were really wrinkly so I gave him a lint roller, told him to head to the dressing room so he could straighten his clothes out. I then went to look for a tie. I happen to find one that looked nice and on clearance. I asked him to come to the dressing room mirror to see it. He said it looked expensive but I told him not to worry about it and that I'd use my employee discount.
He then asked if I could help him with the tie. He asked his mother before but she didn't know how and he didn't have a father. I said "No prob!" and got the tie done for him. We went to the cashier, he paid for the tie, and he left.
I sit here watching this clip and it's funny how at the time, I was just helping a dude out. But now, I see how much of an impact that could mean to someone.

She's being typically emotionally unstable with mood swings, not "in touch with her inner whatever".
I like how every video where Henry brings up the Styrofoam plane, the plane costed more and more money. It started around 15 dollars when he first mentioned it and now its up to 50 dollars. 😂🤣
It's because he keeps buying more of them.
Several years ago I worked at a movie theater. I was with the company long enough to go through 3 uniform changes(A nice looking grey shirt, a purple and black fed-ex looking shirt and finally a white shirt and blue tie). The last uniform change happened while I was on vacation and didn't get the new uniform until my first day back. I was in the locker room maybe 15 minutes trying to figure out how to tie the tie when one of the projectionists came in to get something and saw me struggling and helped me out. Thanks Jack.

I’d never refuse to help/teach someone to tie a tie. It’s a small thing that can go a long way towards giving someone enough pride in themselves to better their lives. If you can show them how to tie it themselves, it will boost their confidence too, and they’ll _never_ forget it and will probably pass that kindness forward and help someone else with their tie in the future.

@@sundee3385 Treat others how you'd like to be treated.
@@CRAZEH247 see this principle don't work if i'm a masochist and like pain and have a thing for being submissive or "thrown away" etc
because by that logic I can do the same to others simply because I am ok wit it
@@reelgesh51 It does work because if you're a masochist, you're not going to behave opposite and treat others in the opposite way just because you like that sexual kink. That's called sadism.
We're not even talking about sexual fetishes here anyway. Projecting how you feel about something onto someone else is completely different to how you'd want to be treated in a general manner.
@@CRAZEH247 "Treat others how you'd like to be treated."
Your right that is sadisim but I don't have to enjoy doing it to others for me to be causing the pain I might like. Everyone does things they don't enjoy anyway so to just assume that in order to cause pain on another I must enjoy the act doesn't make sense because if I was truly taught to treat others the way I wish to be treated I'd simply be hurting them because I'd feel that's something i'd enjoy. and therefore something they SHOULD enjoy.
Any good gift giver doesn't give a gift they'd enjoy because they understand that their desires are different to the other persons.
A suicidal person might also want someone to kill him to end it all for them - does that give the suicidal person the right to kill others because that's how they want to be treated of course not.
The saying is just plain wrong because it's not specific to anything and assumes all humans have a good moral compass OR a good general value on their self worth (and even if humans did it still wouldn't work).

For those that don't get it, her drop kicking the guy is the only right answer. If someone is being electrocuted, that last thing you want to do is touch them with your hands. Electricity contracts and locks muscles, so if you use your hands the electricity would lock your hands in a grab around them killing you both. The best thing to do is find a way to quickly get them away from the source of the power. In this case drop kick him away from the bucket his feet are in. Regardless, still funny that she went for the face.
I know a construction story where an older worker thought a new guy was being electrocuted (had his foot on a machine that shakes a lot) and the old guy threw a shovel at him to try and save him.
-(this below is false, I made a mistake in my recounting of a story a professor told the class, The cause of the problem wasn't just cold weather, the cold weather just causes a faster blood circulation, and the professor told us (could be recounting wrong again) that the person in question had some other issue that he wasn't aware off that was worsened by the cold atmosphere) [you may laugh at my mistake I apologize for the misinformation]
I also know that if you are working in cold conditions below I'd say -4 Celsius don't bother trying to have dignity, wear some adult diapers and have your pee break in those otherwise say hello to the possibility of having the male version of menstruation
