Ok, I'm glad they had a good discussion, but why did the 'hater''s parents let their 12 or younger year old have free reign of the internet? Those types of sites don't seem like they would be things a child should have access to. Other older people were talking to the 'hater', did the parents know this was happening? And why are they offering hormones to a kid they have never met, for free, without a therapist's input? And they hid the stuff in bushes? This sounds extremely illegal on so many levels. Those people really should be in jail.

Totally! We all need that friend and to be that friend, as well.
A friend who calls you out is not a friend.
A friend who discreetly and respectfully gives you the heads up, with only you and your friend knowing about it, without others knowing about it, this is a friend, and this is what is needed.
Mature adults are respectful and civil people, who also keep open minded and does not look to criticize others, for nothing more than their own selfish desires.
As for speaking about different thoughts and ideas, as long as people respect each other, and are civil, open minded, and not negative about it, things will work out nicely.
Adults know how to speak about sensitive things, and relay the message, without putting the other person down, without alot of negativity.
I know theres people out there that will agree with what I said, and I thank you.
I also know there are people out there who will disagree with what I said, as long as you are not disrespectful, hateful, negative, you can put your comments below, and share your different but good thoughts.

I just have to say... That was SO dangerous what she did. Getting medications from strangers online. It could have been a trap. They could've waited at those locations and jumped her. Lucienne is pretty, but I think her face could be softened a bit more. I don't know if it's because of her strong, bold makeup or because her masculine features are coming through a bit. Blaire is visibly trans to me. I don't know, it's weird because before she got FFS, she looked more feminine and passing to me. I think the biggest indicator that a woman is trans is the voice and their mannerisms (they seem to be exaggerated to prove that they're womanly, even though most bio women don't act like that).

There's psychology behind that lol. It's a subconscious mechanism for someone to adjust their hair, or stroke their beard for example, to break nerves by "controlling" something. It's something about you that you can directly manipulate.

Neither of their boobs look natural. I have yet to see a trans with natural looking boobs if the boobs are visible. If I was shown a picture solely of their boobs, I could tell you they were trans. Blaire's are too round and look like they were just stuck on and some other small issues. The Hater's are too big, they drag a lot, they are too far down, they don't naturally come out of the body. It's just a lot of small details that make them look fake. They both are definitely among the most convincing and attractive transitions I've seen though.

For sure! Firstly you have to be put on a 2,5 year waiting list and then you have to get at least 6 months each month a session with a psychologist and then they give you “green light” to get hormones
I think it should be like that everywhere. Transition is a very severe change to one's body and shouldn't be taken as lightly as it is in the US.

My conclusion:
Before a certain age (say 18 or 21), there should be a thorough verification process that is unbiased and medical in nature to confirm the diagnosis of gender dysphoria and prescribe proper treatment (hormone therapy, surgery etc.). Keeping political/ideological pollution out of issues of gender dysphoria is very helpful. It's a medical issue.

Dalton Beauregard I think early medical transition does have a positive influence on breast development in MTF. If you know of Jazz Jennings, she had hormone blockers than cross sex hormones during adolescence, and she definitely had more female pattern growth.

I think it's because Blaire is secure in herself.
When people are insecure, they are immediately defensive when people don't agree with every word of what they're saying. This means no sensible discourse can take place because both parties have their backs up within minutes.
If you can have the maturity to show respect to another person's views even if they don't align with your own, then they will be much more amenable to understanding your perspective too. Just takes one person to make that move.

Great video, and I love how you say "people can be friends even though they have different opinions" - that's how it used to be! We didn't have to agree with everything someone thinks in order to be their friend, and we didn't have to be enemies just because we disagree. Those final words.. More people need to follow that advice. You can be friends even if you disagree on certain things, especially politics and social issues. Hell, you can even be lovers and disagree on politics and social issues. And a lot of people seem to forget that.
To add to that: Your politics do not define who you are as a person. I disagree a lot with one of my closest friends if it comes to politics, but that doesn't take away anything from who they are as a person and i still value them greatly.

Personally, I agree with Blaire. Retransitioning can be a very difficult process in terms of the physical body, emotional well-being and mental health. To prevent this, an individual should have regular consultations with their doctor for at least a year and should only be able to transition over the age of 21.
Pubity affects hormones and the physical body hugely, therefore waiting for this to end will confirm if you’re satisfied/comfortable with yourself or not. Isn’t it just safe to wait a while until you’re sure?
I’m aware that for some people, such as Lucie, are certain from an extremely young age, but this can’t be generalised to everyone!
The big problem is that the longer you wait, the harder it is to transition well (at least for MTFs). My friend developed an Adam's apple and had a deep voice. Needless to say, she didn't pass very well at all at first, which was really sad. She passes a little better now, but truth be told, she'll probably never fully pass. She'd get harassed and physically threatened. Transitioning at a young age wasn't an option for her, but if it was, it would be totally different for her. That being said, I think providing these kids with blockers would be a good middle ground until they can be properly assessed. I just think we'd be jeopardizing way too many kids by not allowing any intervention at all

bookcreator That’s interesting and I really understand where you’re coming from. However, no solution will be ‘right’ and no solution will have all positives surrounding it. I view the most important issue to be that children are influenced very easily, and that’s not to say that some aren’t sure about there gender, but it definitely says that some will make the decision and regret it later in life.

As an Austrian I can confirm that everything that has to do with psychology here seems way more strict than in the US. It ties in with gun ownership laws as well, the tests for mental stability you have to go through in order to be allowed to get your own gun are way more thorough and also more in number I believe.
Needless to say it would still be possible to get through those tests to be assigned as trans even if there's no real dysphoria, if someone was really stubborn enough to do that. But at the very least I think it's a very good filter.

It's society as a whole. We have had guns since our country began and only the past 30 years has a rise of gun violence happened. I blame it on parents not being parents, authority figure loosing respect (teachers, elders, Police) and no one having to take responsibility. (AKA-blaming rapist and murders actions based on his/her "bad" childhood)
There are things in place at least for minors that they need a therapist and psychiatrist evaluate them for being placed on hormones .. you need to be be diagnosed with gender dysphoria & visit the doctor for hormones for at least 6 months before being approved .. if mental health issues are present this can take longer and more approval procedures.

Recent studies have shown it’s possible for doctors to determine if a person has gender dysphoria through their brain. So maybe with more research there will be a definitive way to help trans people be raised how they should be
... Preferably after adulthood
Bethany Monges it’s impractical to put babies through a mri or pet scan just in case they might end up having gender dysphoria. If something like that was done it should be done on a case by case basis.

A 12 year old taking unknown medication from someone online that left them in abandoned homes. PERFECT EXAMPLE OF KIDS MAKING POOR DECISIONS! If they got the meds who knows what they might be, or maybe there might not have been meds at all and she could have put herself in serious danger by people who prey on vulnerable children. Supporting your kids is one thing, but encouraging them to make lifelong altering decisions is completely over the top. Parents need to be more involved and be less pressured to let kids make rash decisions. And why was a 12 year old left to their own devices to roam to whatever and wherever on the internet and in real life to be able to do all this?

Austria is quite balanced, they have a strong socialist party, but they also have a strong ruling conservative party. Austria has progressive social welfare policies, but very conservative immigration policies and cultural policies.
