@@basicallyjustollie4834 I am sorry Ollie but that is a little confusing. Basically the reason why people have gender dysphoria is because, (in your case) they are physically female, yet have significantly masculine energy (that would also induce them to _act_ , feel and behave more like a man), so that it seems like they were born the wrong gender, being 'trapped' in the body of woman.

@Merculyra Asteroth mate. Being a transgender male DOESN’T mean you HAVE to like women or HAVE to be manly, but being transgender is feeling, by my experience, like I was always born in the wrong body and I was meant to be a man. You can be a transgender guy and still like both genders. In my case I like men and women, I’m Demi-Sexual (meaning you fall in love, sexually as well, after forming a strong bond) and I dress as a man. You can still like girly things and be a trans man.

I think “people of colour” is the preferred term because it refers someone’s to race when necessary without defining them by their race if that makes sense. It’s also a term that many poc have said that they prefer and I think it’s important to respect how people in minority groups identify themselves because so often being in control of the narrative and labels associated with your community is a luxury not afforded to people in minorities so it’s important to listen to poc when discussing these things.

Chad Daddy Gender is a social construct because the ideas of it were created by society although it’s only originally based off female and male, then people went down the hole and started being like oh dresses are for girls, or guys can’t have emotions (those kind of binding attributes can be bad because it suggests being a girl or guy is just being either feminine or manly.) so, I say it is a social construct, although more accurately there are only two sexes. In my opinion.. I don’t really agree with there being so many genders to make people comfortable because it gets confusing and causes more problems and people get mad at you for basically the stupidest stuff. Like I understand being trans because they ACTUALLY want to transition from one sex to the other (those who actually experience gender dysphoria and want to change their sex), which may be possible when science and technology improve to be cheaper and safer, and non-binary I sort of understand.. (I don’t exactly but I think it’s. Just not pertaining to any of the genders or is it not wanting to have either sex? I’m not sure.) but that’s about it. I guess I agree with you, but I definitely would say gender is a social construct, regardless if you like it or not - due to what has been done to it now. Sex isn’t interchangeable with that really anymore because it only coincides with the genitalia or slight differences between the sexes, not whether you’re girly or manly and stuff

I get a bit grouchy when a fellow part-time chair user is all "Yay, check out my cool cute disability, my wheelchair is covered in purple sparkles how fun, and btw I'm a spokesmodel for all the kinds of disabled, but don't call what I have an illness it's just a difference, and my diagnosis is now my middle name so don't you dare mispronounce it!" Makes me want to take even more of my fancy over-priced nausea meds. But to be fair I'm an antisocial curmudgeon who looks on all happiness with suspicion.

Yep! I have Crohn's disease- when flaring I have 0 stamina and my joints are absolutely wrecked. I have used chairs and canes, then other times I can walk short distances. I hate being in a chair, I'm stupidly stubborn but realise that it's not a weakness, it's an aid to continuing my life. I sometimes feel like people place being unwell on a pedestal because they think it gets attention? When in reality anyone with a condition would love to be rid of it. My illness doesnt define who I am, it's a part of me but not all of me. I'd rather be known for being myself than being unwell.

It's chronic fatigue syndrome/ Myalgic Encephalomyelitis which is a chronic condition (that can fluctuate) causing many symptoms (mostly affecting your nervous system and immune system). It's different for everyone but it's most commonly known for the chronic fatigue people have, how quickly we tire, the pain we experience and the body's inability to recover energy even after only doing something mildly strenuous. I've had it for a few years and mine is slowly getting worse and of all my health issues I find this is the one I struggle with the most as I use to be super active.

I kind of toughed it out until it got so severe that I physically couldn’t put weight on my right leg before I finally got a cane or started using in-store assistance devices (rascals or wheel chairs, whatever they had available) because it was just so much easier when I had access to them. Could I walk independently of mobility assistance? Yeah, but it was slow and hurt like a bitch.

My Mom use to say “ if you don’t have something nice to say then don’t say anything at all”. I replied, what if they don’t have anything nice about them and someone comes up and says something mean about that person? Well, my Mom said, everyone has at least one thing nice about them. Well what is it.
My Mom replied, “you can say, you have nice eyelashes.”
It is so funny because I told my kids the same story but they use it as a way to say something mean while saying something nice. In a sarcastic voice, “well don’t they have nice eyelashes”.

Ok I do want to make a point that it isnt that kids shouldnt learn about lgbt stuff, but its how you go about it and how you explain it. My mom explained gay people to me when I asked when was little by telling me "sometimes girls fall in love with other girls and guys fall in love with other guys" that was all the explanation on it that I needed. It made sense. She explained trans people when I asked by telling me "some people dont feel comfortable as a woman or a man so they change it to feel more comfortable" and I got it. There doesnt need to be a whole channel to explain something that can be explained in one sentence. And with children you dont have to explain all that hard.

People use wheelchairs when their legs aren't strong enough to walk long distances. Just because someone uses a wheelchair doesn't mean they can't walk, it means they need assistance and it's just a tool to help people, like a cane. My grandpa uses them in airports, even though he doesn't need one around the house. If he ever needed to get pushed around somewhere, he'd still get out of the wheelchair and walk to an actual seat at a table for meals.

In regards to the male female brains, I wanted to share something extremely interesting.
My mother is a neurologist, she's been a researcher for a long time, and she actually conducted some studies on these sexual differences. For example, a stereotype - which clearly has foundations in reality - said that males have better visuo-spatial capabilities, and that is why they make up a lot of the pilots, architects, engineers and so on.
During trials on female pilots, my mom and her team found out that by giving a dose of testosterone to them, they're visuo-spatial capabilities would increase dramatically (often accompanied with more agressive behavior, btw). Anyhow, both hormones and literal brian structures influences by biological sex play a part in shaping how we work!
