When I was younger I was a tomboy. I wore boys clothes, hated dresses, didn’t like pink, and hung around boys. I’m 30 years old now and there are days that I’ll dress more boyish simply because I feel like it. Though now I love makeup, dresses, pink, heels, etc. I do remember being mistaken for male by a kid once when I had my head shaved, lol. Anyway, to this day I get fashion inspiration from men and I enjoy things that are viewed as things men like or do. I’m a straight woman, by the way.

I was a huge tomboy as a young kid and I got mistaken for a sir once and u just went uh what and the person went oh my god sorry miss and I was like alright cool whatever 😂 I’ve also been called butch for having a pixie cut even though I’m straight and the most I say back is “pls be more creative with your insults I’d rather hear something new than the stereotypical “short hair cut, butch lol” like come on if you’re going to insult me do it with some creativity 😂 I just laugh or move on from people like that cause if they’re trying to insult you they’re not worth your time and I feel bad for them having such a limited mind 😂

There's no need to get upset, just calmly and sweetly correct what is 98% of the time a little mistake and people will treat you well. No excuse for this.

Im not trans but ive been misgendered because i have a masculine face when i dont wear makeup.. my dad wasn not trans either but he also got misgendered because he had long hair and he was very skinny... literally anyone can get misgendered. It is not an attack on trans people. only if people do it intentionally. If its an accident then you can't get mad honestly. Like how should they know
EDIT: Im not saying people cant get hurt. I got hurt when i got misgendered. Thats not my point. My point is that you shouldnt blame it on the person who accidentaly did it. And you shouldnt call it "an attack on trans people" as it also happens to people who arent trans. Of course you can be hurt, i understand that it must hurt especially if you are already dealing with dysphoria, but DONT blame the person doing it if they didnt do it on purpose (which in most cases, they dont).

So, I am not trans, but I get misgendered a lot. I have a boyish haircut, a relatively flat chest, and my clothes are usually a bit big on me. There's a huge difference between 'This person doesn't know me beyond passing me in the store' and being blatantly bullied by someone who knows you. Just the other day I held a door open for a lady and as she passed she said, "Oh well thank you young man." I just smiled and said, "Of course." No harm, no foul. I was at the cashier a few weeks ago and the clerk returned my change with, "Here you go sir," and when I said thanks they stopped and gasped and, "Oh I'm so sorry! It's just, I didn't see-" She was legitimately worried she had offended me - which she absolutely hadn't.
Cut back to High School, where my classmates knew me. Called me manish or boyish, told me to go change in the boy's locker room, and where I had a guy I thought was cute literally tell me, "I don't want people to think I'm gay." No pal, I just think you're a dick.

This person was trying to return something that is either nonreturnable or they are returning something without a receipt which can only be done for store credit by law because you can't legally give cash back for an item that may have been purchased on a credit card. Most people accept this and move on but you have that special group of people who will try to escalate the issue and cause a scene to try to get you to give in to their demands just to make them go away. This person is trying to use their transgender status to escalate the whole situation to their advantage. The issue here isn't that they are transgendered the real issue is the nonreturnable or nonrefundable for cash item that they are trying to get the employee to capitulate over.

Richard Crockett I worked at the electronics department at Walmart during college and its really just on a store by store and state by state situation. I know personally at the store I worked at you can return it within 15 days for a cash refund but only by a managers approval, so in situations where people got really pissed I couldn’t return something I’d be super friendly and go “let me see if my manager can do anything for you, I’m so sorry.” Than I’d go get the manager and let him deal with it lol, cause honestly we all know they are gonna ask for the manager anyways, so to save time I just send them straight to them. Sometimes the manager does store credit or somehow refunds them but after I point them to their Direction, it’s no longer on me.

Funny you should mention this, because I saw something very similar at a mobile phone accessory shop a few months ago. The customer was raging harder and harder, and the little Vietnamese shop keeper, bless her, was snarking right back at him. Security was called from centre management because you could hear the shouting from across the shops. Mind you, the guy in question was a squat Lebanese dude in a hoodie, not a Trans ma-Am.

I grew up in an conservative, upper class suburb, was taught to be very ignorant towards lgbt people as they were ‘deviant’ baring in mind what my family saw to make them feel that way was headlines of obese greasy haired sjw college students. And not the normal lgbt people who don’t use their sexually and gender as their whole identity. I found Blaire’s channel and my views have changed so much. And when I was able to understand that most lgbt people are normal people. I was able
To educate my family on it. So Blaire needs way more recognition and credit than what she has, as what she does and says I think truly makes an impact on people who aren’t exposed to the rational side of lgbt.

This might have been his first experience with a trans person and he might have had NO IDEA of what was going on....I've had trans people around me most of my life so I know the game and how to approach them. Yes, and Blaire gives us a great educational spirit as an example when she mocks and laughs at this person with her boyfriend. Very helpful indeed. And the fact that the man continued to refer to her as "sir" even after the woman corrected him is very telling of how willing he was to be "educated". The woman is angry, she is probably being misgendered her whole life. This tends to add up.
*To clarify after re-watching the original video. I thought that the employee kept calling her sir on purpose, which would be reprehensible. Now I noticed it was very obviously by mistake which does condemn her behaviour. Though I still have issues with how Blaire handles this, that doesn't excuse the woman's over-reaction. Sorry if I left that impression earlier, I was wrong.

"You can be a masculine trans girl"
You really can't be though... If you are, why did you transition? You're in a man's body, and you're "masculine", but you're really a woman inside? That doesn't make any sense.
Either you're not that masculine, or you're not that trans. You can't have it both ways and expect the world to agree with your illogic.
The difference with you, OP, is that you're a guy (a real guy) who just happens to be feminine. You didn't go out of your way to transition from being a woman into being a man just to be feminine again. That wouldn't make sense.

First, you say they "can't". Uh, sorry, gender police? What are you gonna do about it, scream and cry? xD.
Second, yes, you can, exactly as there are cis women who are identified as woman but perceived as masculine and viceversa.
And third, the "perceived" mentioned above, is because masculinity and femininity are literally social constructs. Literally are subjective and socially constructed, and the perception of it changes from age in time, area, culture, country and even family. So yes, they can be what you perceive to be masculine, yet transition, ask to be called "she" and you can die mad and rabid about it if you don't like it, period.
P.D.: with this I'm not justifying losing your temper as she did, but that's another thing.
