Of course passing, while possible for most, is not a good indicator for true transhood. So that complicates things. I doubt I will ever pass, despite beginning as a previously feminine male. Cis men like F1nn are not trans and pass as women flawlessly. It infuriates me but it doesn't threaten my womanhood.
I do think the whole historically athletic men becoming women within a year thing is preposterous. Even with my 2 years in I would feel uncomfortable around women's sports, and I am already probably weaker than most women.

Today I woke up at 5:15 am, got myself and my 8 year old up, dressed, made breakfast, dropped him to school, drove myself 45 minutes to my job where provide in home medical and personal care to a 58 year old severely Autistic woman, calmed her when she hit the walls and herself after her bath which I give her, after 10 hours of that I drove 55 minutes to pick up my son from mother who is a woman and did her job for 12 hours as a Director of Seniors Center, after arriving home I started dinner and helped my son with his homework (he’s on the Honor Roll) we had dinner, I cleaned up the kitchen after, then it’s bath time for the kiddo, after bedtime stories it’s time for online classes so I can attain yet another certification in order to get the raise I’m after… it’s now midnight, time for 5 minute shower and fall into bed feeling like I’ve been hit by a truck! Tomorrow is another day where I get to “be a woman” and I need my beauty rest!!

Day 15,695 of being a girl. Just came back from the hospital after having my cervix biopsied for cervical cancer. I still have to go to work, keep a house clean & little mouths fed, pay bills, keep smiling so no one picks up on my anxiety. Must be nice to be “a girl” without all the problems we have.
Day 10,595 of being a girl and I've literally driven everyone everywhere, made sure kids were fed and napped, took mom grocery shopping, cooked, cleaned, went to work, went to a friends to clean a water pipe break, barely ate, and did all that with a pinched nerve in my neck, migraine, and recovering from bronchitis. Being a girl isnt all pretty in pink. Mostly, I wear black.
You don't have to do it all yourself. Get married to a wonderful man. Let him take care of the finances while you take care of household. You could work if you'd like and you could reduce the time you work and spend the extra time on urself.

Hi Dylan, today is my 48th year, 1 month and some odd days being a woman. Last week my husband and I sat in my breast surgeon’s office. Got my mammogram and ultrasound results. Got to watch my husband cry after being told I may be dying of breast cancer. Then, I got to come home and call our son. Since then I have woke up and heard my husband cry a few more times, have tried to make his birthday special, wear a very brave face, cry privately and watch you mock everything woman like myself endure.

She’s always acting like a stereotypical wealthy young woman with a bubbly personality, instead of actually bringing issues about being trans to light. She is passive about dysphoria, instead of addressing how demeaning and stressful it can be. I get that a rich person who is famous on social media is going to express transness a bit differently than young trans people who are minors/dependent on parents financially and can’t afford medical transitions, but I think she’s just terrible representation. If anyone should be a speaker for the trans community, it should be someone whose actually suffered from discrimination and dysphoria, and not a woman who woke up and decided to make upbeat vlogs about doing stereotypical things. I don’t think she’s invalid as a trans person. I don’t think anybody is. It’s her identity, I can’t know anything about it just from what she puts online. But personally, I think she’s overrated. From stereotypical feminity to lack of struggle with oppression, I don’t think she should be one of the big faces in the trans community, especially when a large sum of her followers are cishet, she makes it seem like her way of being trans is the only way. I have been a woman my whole life. I have worn the same “frocks” for about 4 years, but I make sure my husband and kids always have new shoes when they need them. I am waiting on test results for my daughter, she’s terrified it’s bad news. I can’t cry in front of her, she needs me to be the goofy strong mom that calms her fears and always reminds her to look for that silver lining, in every situation. My son is struggling with his own problems and he needs me to just listen but not fix his problems. No amount of makeup, clothes or sarcasm, will make you a women. I am offended, that you think you could joke and demean us so easily. You don’t know, and will never know, what it’s like to be a woman!
