    Hi, I had the same problem in my ti30, contact the supplier and they say is normal, the controllers cut between 58v to 60v.
    I change my controllers and I need to change the display to.
    Change for the Angwatt t1 plus controllers and put the tf100 display and is amazing.
    The original controllers for laotie ti30 run over very fast the battery, when you accelerate with mode 3 and 2 motors is incontrolabel, with this this Angwatt controllers is amazing.
    You can put the second display on your scooter to.
    Wait for your next videos, great job 👌

    I just replaced a front controller a few weeks ago (blown mosfet i think) and accidently fried my turbo button =/. I'm having a really hard time right now, went to service my scoot the other day changed the bearings, rotor and front wheel and had to remove the 5 pin haul connector to fit it through that little hole in the frame, i must have damaged a wire removing a glob of epoxy that was fixing all the pins into the connector because my front motor doesn't spin anymore and locks up on acceleration. i had to give up on the rear after breaking 2 screwdrivers i'm waiting for a real set of tire spoons to finish the job and try and figure out what happened. warranty people have told me to pound sand, your channel has helped me out alot.

      With the cable from the eco turbo switch disconnected, the scoot will always be in turbo mode. I disconnected mine because I never use eco mode and I repurposed the push button to use for a high beam headlight.
      Also, you can just hardwire (solder) the Hall wires directly and get rid of the plastic plug. I would imagine any damage to the wire would be right at the pin. Good luck.

      @@Desert-Ecruisingthats reasurring to hear i have an i bike tester coming out, i'm hoping that will isolate my issue. I got my rear tire seated finaly but i can hear air hissing out of the sidewall i'm hoping these stop leaking and i didn't mangle the sidewalls too much!

    Hello thank you for choosing YUNLI controllers.
    Our controller would monitor battery voltage in real-time. When the voltage drops below a certain point, it adjusts the output current downward to prevent over-discharge, also would help to extend the battery's lifespan. So, if the voltage drop to a certain level, you may experience a reduction in power, but power shutdown may not occur.

      Hi, the issue in this video is not with the Yunli controllers, it’s the stock JP controllers. I’m installing the Yunli set now. By the way, I’d like to buy a DS20 throttle test version if one becomes available again.
      Thanks- Michael

    What about modifying the battery compartment to ride with two battery packs for greater distance and make them removeable. Maybe installing latches for easy removal and 3d printing extra battery box to attach to front forks.

    • @Desert-Ecruising
      @Desert-Ecruising  Před 7 měsíci +1

      The battery voltage isn’t the problem. The controllers just aren’t letting the me utilize the full range of the battery. Should be able to run the battery down to 52v without more than 4 or 5 mph difference from full charge. The 38Ah battery is enough capacity for me if the controllers wouldn’t stutter at 60v and instead would run fine down to at least 52v like they should.

      @@Desert-Ecruising I would love to swap out the controller too if your new controller fixes the problem but it looks complicated if I open the scooter deck up just to see so many cable wires and don't know which one connects to which..

      I don't mean this as a fix, but a mod for future riding improvements.@@Desert-Ecruising

      @Desert-Ecruising  Před 7 měsíci

      I know but me personally, I’ve never ridden or have needed to ride more than 30 miles without recharging. The 38Ah battery is plenty big enough for that if the controllers weren’t crapping out at just under mid battery range.

      Both modes would be great for distance as well as plane travel. (removing battery for flight)@@Desert-Ecruising

  • @Omar-tz8hx
    @Omar-tz8hx Před 7 měsíci

    It kills it after 60v. You cant top out after that because of the voltage drop

    • @Desert-Ecruising
      @Desert-Ecruising  Před 7 měsíci +1

      It’s a controller issue with the stock JP controllers. Shouldn’t be more than 4 or 5mph difference between full charge of 67 volts down to low voltage of at least 52v. Just like my Qpower, can run it down to 52v and still achieve near 40mph.

    • @Omar-tz8hx
      @Omar-tz8hx Před 7 měsíci

      It might be. Test it when you get your sinewave.

    I had that once I hit close to 57v or 56.5v??? Is this normal and is there a fix for this??? and using third gear...it probably cuts off if you go faster than a certain mile per hour?? or when i had like 59v while scooter not moving but if you press throttle down enough or going up a steep hill and you see the battery v goes down to 57v or below it will cut off and stutter while the scooter is moving...

    • @Desert-Ecruising
      @Desert-Ecruising  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Like I said in the video, it’s the controllers. I expect the problem will go away once I swap the stock controllers out with the Yunli controllers. It’s poor performance on the controller manufacturer’s part. It does not allow you to utilize the full battery range.

      @@Desert-Ecruising @@Desert-Ecruising they also have a new laotie ti30 version with different upgraded controllers I was reading or found somewhere online... And also they said previous laotie ti30 scooter came with a different controller until company decided to change them to the ones we currently have now. Maybe previous one were better one.

    My rear turning signal light the left one also wouldn't turn on but when i push or tap it a few times it turns on...i remember i accidentally stepped on it when I didnt know my scooter was set to dual motors after I had parked my scooter someone actually touched my scooter and turned my scooter button on dual mode... or could it be loose cable or have unplugged and plug back the signal light???

    • @Desert-Ecruising
      @Desert-Ecruising  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Sounds like a bad connection if you can tap on it and make it work. Could be inside the turn signal itself.

    • @Desert-Ecruising
      @Desert-Ecruising  Před 7 měsíci +1

      If you’re tapping on the turn signal, I would guess the problem is inside the turn signal itself, not at the cable connection inside the chassis.

  • @MissHitAllTheTime

    Also, maybe this the only reason why the kaabo, or dualtron scooter brand is better lol...their motors dont cut off or stutter but no comments since i rode over 1.6k miles with no issues...except for this...and one flat tire...but then got a great deal on this scooter and helps me commute to work every day and its actually more waterproof than it advertised. i also put wrap a few garbage bags onto my scooter deck to protect from rain while i'm riding it and parking it outside then out of no where if the rain was to come down...

    • @Desert-Ecruising
      @Desert-Ecruising  Před 7 měsíci +1

      The reason Dualtron is better is the $3,000 difference in price😆

    I had the same problem but worse, I have changed the LCD display, 2 controllers and alarm system and still running in the same issue where I am able to ride it only for less than half a mile then it shuts down dead and it is stuck on dual motor, I can't do anything accept fix the wires!

    • @Desert-Ecruising
      @Desert-Ecruising  Před 3 měsíci

      If you’ve replaced the controllers and display and it shuts down after a mile, it must be the battery unfortunately.
