You are correct. Waste EV it is not at all saving alternative. Only CNG is best. Try using some online calculators for CNG Petrol and EV vehicle running cost.

Nexon is one of the best cars in segment. However, it needs to improve on customer care and overall fit and finish. My friend bought Nexon (Hyd) a year ago and on day of delivery we informed showroom guys about plastic panel not fitting properly in boot and staff informed it will be fixed in 1st service.😢

Only CNG is cost saving thing for cars. Electric is only for 8 years and for battery after 9th year again 5 lakhs (as per Tata Showroom for Nexon EV) make hole in our pocket. Suggestion is go for CNG. It may takes you some amount of time for filling. Thats ok. 😊 This 8 lakhs battery cost is equivalent of running cost petrol vehicle. Since cost is more. CNG is ultimate winner.
no need to change battery after 8 or 9 years, its efficiency will decrease probably like 10%, even if abused it won't go below 20%.
Simple solution for the charging when overheating.
Just make sure the wire is at least 4 square mm.
Keep the charging box open.
Check the earthing too. Add water in the earthing pit.
That’s should solve the problems.
