When there is light load, the Grid voltage goes high and hence the voltage at the home also goes beyond 250V...
1. The light load situation arise during rainy season because farmers stop pump sets and public stop using ACs and fans, and
2. after paddy crop cutting by farmers as they stop using pump sets.
3. In cities every apartment will have a saperate transformer. During night time when ACs, fans, TV and lights are OFF, the voltage goes high upto 260V, even up to 270V as the load on the transformer goes down.
The TRANSCO take every step to reduce the voltage by tripping some of the lines during light load situations.
These chargers or any systems imported are designed to operate between 190V to 250V to suit their countries. and auto cutoff beyond 250V ..
..TATAs must consider the Indian situation where voltage upto 270V is very much common and instead of simply importing they must ask for redesign to operate upto 270V or upto 300V.
Look at the most of the TVs brands, they operate from 100V to 300V nowadays .. avoiding the use of a stabiliser.

What I felt is buying a electric car is not value for money
Let us assume nexon non ev -12 lakh
Nexon ev : 17 lakh
Difference :5 lakhs, So yearly interest on 5 lakhs 500000*18%=90,000
With these 90 k we can get petrol of 820 liters.
With 820 we easily travel 12,000km per annum, and ignored the electricity cost.
Few discomfort we will face in Ev vehicles initially and some buyers are facing service issues with especially in EV vehicle.
Finally spending 5 lakhs now is not equal to spending 5lakhs over a period is not equal🤣

Bro 2 wheller big brands they give timely services at there service centre in regular intervals, same in 4 wheelers also. Coming to brands which don't have hi tech specs and display they won't need much service if the customer has basic electric knowledge he /she can do at home.
