the software update is done by different engineer who is not present 24x7 at all the dealers simultaneously, they do round robin between the dealerships for OS updates.
I had to get the 2022 "Prime" update which added the regen modes, cruise control, and tpms. I had to wait 1 week for their engineer to come, then took it second time after service.
Once they get EV sales and service like the one in Gurugram, it should be better in future

I almost stopped driving bikes due to my health issues, and now it's just too hot in Hyderabad, may be I might start again after the rainy season let's see.

I heard that the ride quality is not comfortable for long drives in nexon EV. Is true ?
The tata service is much better in dedicated EV only service centres. That is way forward ,, here is Gurgaon it’s significantly better experience in dedicated EV service centre
Does the AC system work fine ? For my Nexon Creative Plus, the AC at 30°C is as cold as 25°C and the heater hence does not work at all because even at 30°C the AC cools the car instead of heating it even if the ambient outside temp. is cold.
Get it checked, don’t have this issue at all.

Bought the new Nexon ev the same time as him in November last year, mechanically and comfort wise it's excellent, performance is superb you cannot go back to ice cars after driving evs, but there are a lot of software annoyances, like the aqi beeps he mentioned and the incessant voice that keeps announcing everything you do like turning on express cooling or drive mode change and the fact that they made a deliberate design choice to turn on radio everytime the car starts and the glitches with infotainment and instrument cluster, these glitches mostly went away after the software update during the first service
But they need to iron out the software issues, still no tpms view even after upgrade
In the initial days the glitches were so bad and often i regretted buying the car altogether that's how bad they were
Hopefully a newer upgrade will remove the last wrinkles too

Why are the software updates not OTA? Even my Ather 450x has the capability to receive the software update OTA.
The state their service is, I really don't want OTA updates coz if some problem during update, god knows when they will come to fix it. They should do all these OTA, service updates when the car is sent for service, the current setup is ill-logical.

Punch EV has OTA capability also
Maybe it’s a limitation of the older infotainment system
Ok punch EV presentation, it was told that punch is using Qualcomm mobility platform
LR range maxing out on 300 is not acceptable for someone who will be using it as a primary vehicle present day mass market ev is not a great pick.

only if tata has better service and customer experience I would have bought a TATA nexon ICE.
I stay in Kolkata and few months back I did a 4200 km road trip (up down) to Amritsar with my petrol car.
I could never have done this if I had an EV.
You could have done that but with I don't know how many stops. There's a guy from germany who rode all the way from there in an electric bike. 32k kms. So, it's possible but too time consuming
How much did u spend on petrol and how many stops had u taken??
In a Day how many km you have done sir.
Must have driven non stop without breaks.

Tatas reliability is rubbish. Have a car, driven 85000kms, never had a worse ownership experience than this car. The car is great, but reliability is just so bad. At one point the car was at the service Center at least twice a month
Am using Tata car for last 11 years but no major issues at all till date. Am buying nexon EV next month. I love Tata cars even compared to German cars like Kushaq and tiagun

EVs have lost its charm. The whole international EV market has been going through a turmoil. Even Tesla, being the topmost company, had cut 40% of its prices. Not worth getting a EV these days anymore.
Tesla prices were overinflated from beginning
Plaid model S was almost $140K at launch

@@shresthsonkar9207 Tesla is the market leader. Its software and integration is unparalleled in the world. Of course they will charge premium for the R&D they put in. I don't see anyone saying Apple devices have overinflated prices. Do you?
Point is - if that's the case with market leader - think about the other players who have market share in single digits!

Indian consumers are always different from international consumers. International recession is not impacting indian ev car buyers.

I don't think EVs have any future as long as there is any drastical improvement in batteries. Still we cannon do long tours in EV, EVs are burning here and there.
I think hydrogen cars are the future as toyota is working on it.
Hydrogen 😅. Toyota anti ev lobby is very strong..so strong worldwide hydrogen stations are getting shut. How many 4w EVs did you see burning in your life time? I see ice cars burning everyday like trash. So common...it's not even news anymore
