Eddie Jones needs to be on the podcast.. he doesn't do any interviews.. he's so underrated.
You know, I’ve never heard from him, I’d love his perspective on Kobe
@@Indycityc he was dope..a 2 guard before Kobe got there, then they play together. He was an all-star and on Jordan brand. Great 2-way player
Facts
Eddie was my guy. Good call. I loved that temple backcourt with he and Aaron McKie.
Facts! Eddie was that dude
Love the respect given to TMAC. One of the greatest scorers of all time. His fluidity was unlike any other player I've seen.
TMac
T-Mac deserves some love.
Taking T-Mac, Melo great though
This is hands down the best basketball podcast out there.
I promise you. I hope they don't go on no major networks man n make them be super woke
Word is bon !!!!
Yes....it skipped over all the smoke to me personally and Gilbert arenas podcast which isbt consistent and interviewing simply NBA or WNBA players.
I dont want a fat joe, social justice or jadakiss interview on a basketball podcast..
I started watching JJ Reddick but it was all over the place..
Yes indeed
BRUH!!! Hands down the best in my opinion!💯💯
I really hope you guys interview all 5 members of the Fab Five. That would be a moment for the hoop culture.
It would be amazing
I respect that ✊🏾
Now that would be amazing 💯
So far CWebb and JH. Would love to have JRose and King and Jackson as well 🙏🏽
That would be great.
Props to Juwan for remembering all the dudes involved in his trades!
Fab Five fan for life, always appreciated Coach Howards game, smooth, fierce, and under control. Shout out to 25🖤✊🏿
I hope Juwan Howard coaches the Michigan Men's Basketball Team for a long time and brings them a National Championship.
As an Ohio State alum, I hope so too. That's how classy Juwon Howard is
@@guru0509 That's high praise.
Please get Terrell Brandon on. 5'11 PG that rocked the game. He was a whole bucket and excellent player.
He was a beast
A walking bucket!!!!!
Smooth bucket getter
DMiles said he be bussing Q’s ass! LOL…I love the chemistry with these 2!!!
Juwan Howard was a lunch pale, technician, tough as nails baller! Proud of his evolution and especially happy that he's the general at Michigan. Go Blue!
Amazing interview fellas. Juwan is such a sincere, down-to-earth dude. I really appreciate Q and D for the love, positivity, and respect they spread within the brotherhood. Keep up the great work 💯
Facts
True statement! Had a chance to speak with him at aau tournament! Class act and student of the game.
Agreed
Great conversation. Real laid back and drop some real names. I hope they get tony Allen on soon
Ur trippen, juwon howard is a pos don’t u remember the Wisconsin hand shake? Can’t be an adult in your 50s juwon??
Y’all had C Webb on, now Juwan Howard, next y’all gotta get J Rose
Yeah let’s get one cat come on telling lies…Rose good at that 🤣✌🏽
@@mannyneva1760 Jalen Rose is not a liar no Jalen Rose slander
@@OsmosisG he blamed Webber when it was his fought and he said he dunked on Wizards MJ and MJ wasn’t in the game🤣✌🏽
Jalen has to get on Knuckleheads.
@@mannyneva1760 bro it was C Webb jalen didn’t lie, sorry you didn’t like it
He comes across as very...wholesome. Only guest they've had with that vibe. Simple and wholesome.
I remember meeting Juwan Howard later his career when he was with the Wizards. Very cool & down to earth dude.
Time to get Finley on here
Juwan reminds me so much of Will Smith. Not just their slaps but their demeanor and the way they laugh and smile
I was glad to see Juwan Howard get a ring with Miami. His Nikes were cold too
Love it fellas! Y’all gotta get Kevin Johnson or Mark Price up here!
Kevin Johnson
Best sports podcast hands down
FINALLY! He was the neighborhood barber in Chicago. It makes perfect sense on how his cut was always fresh.
Cut stayed fresh yo lol.
@@Blassie.P Definitely. Both him and Jalen Rose stay with the freshest haircuts.
I hope you do a interview with Mahmoud Abdul Rauf aka Chris Jackson
I don't know how they're going to top this season.
Marcus Lib was that dude. I grew up around the corner from King H.S so I got to see him often. Coach Cox had some good squads back then.
Yea Lib was that dude! I was a freshman and got to see Lib his senior year. He was awesome. The Chi got the best hoopers
Yea king had sum good ass teams then
Q turned on the tv/front office articulation. You can tell he has ultimate respect for Juwan
The level of recognition that you knuckleheads achieve from the questions that you bring forth as well as the quality of professional men and women you bring on is truly gratifying to anyone who tunes in.....Thankyou.....
Mr "We Gonna Shock The World" Himself COACH Juwan Howard 💪🏾💯
Q is a true student of the game. To see Juwan make it to coach from playing outside South Quad or hangin at the sandwich shop on State st. Is dope. FYI Jalen wore a black pinstripe suit (draft suit) at the team dinner as a freshman. He came long way too!
Thanks Juwan im from D.C. thanks for building the courts on the south side Big Guy..much luv
Cabbage Patch Jwan yall did it again keep it goin fellas
Get larry hughes and Michael Finley on here
I wanna see Joe Johnson and Damon Stoudamire. Damon on the Raptors was something different imagine if him Vince and T-Mac together 🤨😯
@@marcuseversley3334 all the smoke did Iso Joe so I don’t think they gonna do him but they should most definitely get Mighty Mouse on
Gotta get Ronnie Fields
“Every time I used to see him he had 30 in his pocket” 😂😂
J . Howard solid dude 4real..
The podcast for hooper hoopers.
The line up question to Juwan from D Miles was what we needed. Loved it.
I really want a reunion with the clips. They was a 1/2 episode or one offs ...
But LO, Brand , CMag ... Kandi man, Boykins, McInnis heck get Piatowski and Dooling , Jaric , Wilcox ... I want to see how others remember those years. I remember in LA at that time at the staples. It was definitely a show , and cheaper than the lakers 🤣
Was a season ticket holder those years. Boykins and Fooling would be good guess. Boykins once scored 15 points in an overtime period.
They did not win much, but I loved that team
@@Noname-hc5uw, Earl was a scorer
Always love Juwan Howard . Great interview. Always a class act . Marcus Liberty was a beast in high school . I remember actually watching him at 6 or 7 years old , in state finals against East St . Louis . I literally saw him score all of King’s baskets . He was a beast .
Man I remember my cousin that lived in Bolingbrook outside of Chicago and when he came home to Michigan, he bought a vhs highlight of Marcus Liberty with the House song “Like This” playing in the background. I debo him for that VHS but when we went there, I gave it back. Man, that dude was special indeed.
Need Abdul Rauf, Finley, Dejuan Wheat, Shawn Respert,……man so many to name!!!!
Hooper Know about Dejuan Wheat and Respert....Killers
I used to wear an elbow pad just like shawn respert, and I rock the iu hoosiers
Wheat was cold at Louisville
That’s when college ball was elite! Any of you guys remember Harold Deane and Curtis Staples? Maaaaaaan, one of my fav college backcourt of all time!!!
@@imajazzhead they were at Virginia right?
Glad they finally got Juwan on the show.
Its so many basketball/sports pods right now that are holding their own but that "Who bust yo' ass?" Question take D&Q to another level!
Another Classic Episode!!!! Chicago Legend
Mike LOOOWrey! 😁 such a cool dude. Great interview! Love the stories about guarding T-Mac and how he always had 30 in his pocket 😂🤣😂😅😅
When J Howard slapped the assistant coach from Wisconsin, that was the Chicago coming out of him and the crazy thing about it was the day Wisconsin retired Michael Finley jersey. They showed a shot of him in the crowd and he cracked a grin like “THATS Chicago” there 😂😂😂😂😂😂
People don’t know bout big TK tommy klienshmidt! One of Chicago’s finest
Carl Gogo Golston was just talking about him
Depaul great! He could score!
One of the best podcast out there and easily the best basketball podcast imho. Much love and respect!
This is a dream for a 30 year old hooper from Detroit that grew up on the fab 5 AND the knuckleheads!
What's crazy is listening to J. Howard talk about Q and D.Miles putting in all that work in the offseason to get better and they still was just average (no hating or shad because at least they made it to the league). That just shows how hard the NBA is and how much talent was in the league. You can have all the determination and all the work ethic but without that God-given Talent to mix it with, you only get so far in the league. Proud of the both of these Kings on finding there niche after the ball stopped bouncing. Blessings and well wishes 🙏🏾✊🏾✊🏾👍🏾👍🏾
I love the questions y'all ask on this podcast.... My favorite show to listen to while I'm @ work
Juwan Howard is a class act in every aspect..he is one of the really GOOD GUYS in sports and in life in general ....wish him all the success at Michigan and hope he can get a chip ...he has done a GREAT JOB..so I know it's coming..peace to the fab 5 ...the trendsetters of that ERA...
These guys just talk basketball. I love it. It’s a snap shot into history.
I get excited every time y'all boys drop
East St. Illinois is apart of the state and " CHI" is the city. Great state for all of us. D.Miles, Juwan Howard, Pat Beverley, A.Ellis, I. Thomas, Jamie Brandon, Howard Nathan, Rashard Griffith, Corey Maggette, Eddy Curry, Andre Iguodala, Marcus Liberty, J.Parker, Ben Wilson, all from Illinois. #1 MECCA of basketball in all high school, college and NBA.
I was not expecting to hear Kevin McHale’s name and man, that was refreshing.
Juwan stayed repping Chi. Always fresh fade and taper.
that UD story just prove that UD is a legend
A true og well respected
Now you just need Mister Memphis Penny Hardaway
Ah man. Penny
I'm hooked. Love these stories and questions
Facts about the goosebumps, had them the whole cast no lie. The accomplishments are everything but the homage and respect that yal have for each other is is even bigger. Much love true Black History. Stay grinding and we here for the journey.
I saw Juwan Howard on the thumbnail I hit play immediately.
Luv y'all black and Q ....man get my boy Rod Strickland on please and thank you fellas
Yall gotta get Mr 2 pt Geezers on, Sam Cassell! It's only right.
This week went fast i didnt watch the last episode keep going i got some catching up to do
I seen Juwan in the early 90's in my neighborhood gym Leclaire Courts and he spoke dude is mad cool!!
Juwan so real
Dope interview& i will always love the Fab 5 for what they did for the culture.. I remember watching them as a kid.. They were definitely must see TV I can still hear Dicky V voice after 1 of them Fab 5 alley-oops🏀🏀🏀🏀
17:05 I remember Jimmy Collins. I attended UIC in the early 2000's. I used to see Jimmie Collins in the underground food court. He nicknamed one of his players, he used to call him Little Sabonnis or Baby Sabonnis. I used to see Cedric Banks and The Bailey Brother, Martell I think in the food court.
This is a real Sports Talk Show. That other one is trying to copy but it don't compare. Good job fellas. Keep up the good work. 👍🏾
This video needs way more views. Great interview
New to Knuckleheads! Where the hell was I on this show? Love it. To watch FAB 5 Coach Juwan Howard is just the best! FAB 5 FOREVER!!
Much Gratitude .
DMiles and Q ask the right questions. Another dope one
Cavaliers, stand up! 💙💛💙💛
I’m so glad people are beginning to see that this podcast is the best basketball podcast in terms of interviewing players. I tried listening to All the Smoke and that quickly felt impersonal and became political. I like listening to JJ’s and Duncan’s podcast from time to time but they mostly interview current players. I’ve always enjoyed these podcasts because you know what you’re always going to get and they always have a fun time.
Really enjoyed getting to meet Juwan Howard Really like him. And i'm loving the Chicago vibes. :) That's my other home town but i ain't never been there, but i got so much love for Chicago brothers and sisters.
Legend!
Knuckleheads is bringing the heat 🔥 every season one of the best podcasts ever when it come the guests
every time.
I’m from Saginaw and was home from college watching that game and after watching that game, I knew the fab was serious.
Benji Wilson , Chicago Simeon , was spectacular . I got an in depth look at Chicago basketball and living , jamming out to the house music that was popular there .
Salute for bringing Up Chicago's Own Marcus Liberty he was monster on the court I thought his NBA career would have been better but it's a good example of being drafted to the wrong team and having a coach who didn't know how to use ya or like ya
Marcus was a second round draft pick. I don't think his coach in Denver is the reason he had the career he had.
@@michaelbeale518 correct he was a second round draft pick but he had the talent. And you are also correct it's not all about the coach not liking him messing up his career his agent played a part also. And I seen a interview where Chris Jackson explained how things were on that Denver nuggets team at the time. Plenty second round picks have had great or at least decent careers
I will never forget the time Nookie and I were on Drew school basketball court playing a 21 and he was so y’all that he was snatching all the rebounds and dominating because of his height and I used to be the one that was all over the boards and that day he showed out on me and we had words and I he told me that he was going to the NBA, I told him that he wasn’t going anywhere and obviously he made me eat my words.Shouts out to you Nookie I solute your achievements and your career even though we didn’t see eye to eye growing up.
This is my favorite guest they have had on the show.
Shoutout to a legend, still rockin the strong goatee
I knew Nuke would say Marcus Liberty. Damn,it's good seeing yous all together. I watch yous all since your highschool careers all the way until your retirement. Love that yous all are being strong and level headed. And most of all returning the gift.
Great podcast 🔥💪🏾💯🔱
Damn right G
Thank you 2 so Much... Giving "Us" Conversation (s) with Substance !!! 🥰🤩😛
Long live the fab five another dope interview gentleman
Another classic episode
Oldie but a goodie!
I love you guys!! I truly do!!!
Aye three minutes in and I’m damn near in tears. Goddamn that’s love right there.
Foreal I wish I became a pro athlete so I could get love from legends like that lol
...
EARLY NINETIES I USED TO SEE JUWAN WITH HIS BIG BODY BENZ DOWNTOWN CHICAGO AND ON THE SOUTHSIDE
Yall really don’t miss, damn
Continue to get these guests n this podcast. Nice and nice.... Howard looks the same as college, how is that possible?! Laphaonso Ellis was a great call out as a legit college player. Calbert Channey as well was a shooter. That swag of baggy shorts and black shoes/socks...everyone was on that!
Southside Chicago much love .Howard could've came to Illini wow love the reminder of how the Chi in you where you go .
Fellas chillin in Orlando, when you bringing Kwame Brown on the podcast? First player in the history of the league to come straight out of high school and be the #1 pick. Up until then Darius was the highest at #3. I know Kwame a spicy topic these days, but your views will go through the roof. I know you fellas know about momma's cooking!!
Yea that will be dope! Geechee Boy Gullah in the house
I really don't think D Miles and Q Rich understand how legendary this content is man
That’s the truth.
Hands down the best basketball pod cast out
The fresh prince of bel air nba player. Legend for sure💪
Huh…
@@OsmosisG I think he means juwan looks like Will smith ...😑
@@12savage68 No he don’t.
@@theonewhoisbetterthanyou3570 Yes he does.
Yoooooooo I’m from Chicago! Can y’all please get Ronnie Fields on the show? That would be amazing 💯💯💯 no he didn’t make it to the NBA, but he was one of the all time best and exciting player’s in HS basketball history. Oh, and get Luther Head and Tony Allen on the show #chicago 💪🏾
Gotta get TA on the show
I second Ronnie Fields. His HS exploits at Farragut with KG are legendary
If there was a definition in the dictionary for the perfect Vet OG, it would be Juwan Howard.
