Uh where's the DELONTE WEST time stamp?
01:02 : Ayyyyoooooooooooo
Kids will never know about how nice 2007-2009 Orlando Magic Jameer Nelson was
right! them were the days, man
I always remember when Stan put him in the lineup for the finals and how the magic just fell apart, after Rafer Alston was killing it.
Jameer was still a nice player though, just not ready for that finals.
Us Clevelanders remember 😅😂
He was ok bro
Fr fr
Him and delonte west was a fire duo at st Joe’s
One of the most underrated point guards in his era
Q doing the Stan Van Gundy voice is peak comedy 😂😂😂😂😂
He was that dude that I feel like didn’t get his flowers. This is 🔥
He was a GOOD player but he was never THAT guy
@@BryantBrothers-gm1qx in the NBA he was good enough to be an All-star, but in college he was DEFINITELY that dude.
@@rxno6921facts. He was on the cover of sports illustrated. He was definitely him in college.
@@rxno6921 I remember him at st.joes with delonte and they BOTH were the MAN there... remember him in his prime...he always overachieved and had a good career but I won't say he was THAT guy
Everybody doesn't deserve flowers smfh
Chester Legend 🧡🖤💐
Facts the year 2000 was magical for Chester High Basketball...
Loved when he used to bring the team to Chester had the whole City wearing Reebok
Jameer and delonte west has to be the best mid major backcourt of my generation they made magic
I'll never forget jameer and delonte pulling up from right past half court every game
WE NEED A MONTA ELLIS EPISODE
💯💯💯
One of my favorite Magic players. Much love to Jameer.
I’m trying to play wit u Bae and create some magic ❤️
Fine self ❤️
He carried that St. Joseph's team and I'd argue he helped get Delonte West drafted, just because of how much exposure and attention Jameer brought with him.
Chester PA in the house, big ups Nelson 🙌🙏
Arguably my favorite Magic player of all time. So happy to hear from him and hear him talking about Orlando. Hopefully we put him in the team Hall of Fame someday
as a kid in cleveland, i could not believe how this short and stocky guy used to hit timely shots against us in the playoffs.
@@tjbaby0as a fellow ohioan & cavs fan, same.
Mine is Penny Hardaway.
But Jameer is fun too :)
I love the podcSt but you guys have to fix them mics and miles has to fix that voice all that southern slang is fine but you mumble so much don't understand what u are saying..
😂 bro what favorite magic? Where the hell you from?
Chester/ Philly legend
Jameer is a gentleman & scholar of the game.
He was so nice in Orlando
Class of 2000 was amazing at the High.
Facts Chuck! It's Troy😂. We won that state chip!
This guy was a killer! Used to go off with my boy in 2K😂🔥🔥
NBA live
@@leonavington8850 Live was no comp once 2k11 dropped imo
Remember playing the 2K10 demo back in the day on the PS3 it was the Celtics,Lakers and Magic
Jameer was nice in 2k10 I liked that Magic team with Dwight and Vince
@@leonavington8850nba live 10 🔥
He was a cheat code on there lmaooo
One of the best guards in college history 🔥🔥🔥
Love when we hear the YO YO YO WE LIIIIIVE ON LOCATION!
The knuckleheads brings it. Keep up the great work guys! 👌🏽🏀
Otis Smith a real one. Stepped down as the GM when he was told Stan would be let go.
That's loyalty (becoming non existent today)
Stan wasn't without his faults though.. like all of us
I appreciate Q accidently asking the realest ? about that playoff run.. Bcuz Rafer was doin his thing n it was a REAL controversy n giving Jameer the opportunity to speak on it.. N he had a great answer for it...
That undefeated team was when I was at St. Joes as a freshman and Meer and Delonte used to come into the athletic office and were cool. I used to work there as a part-time job.
Yes sirrrrrr!!! Les GOOO!!! Jameer Nelson was the truth. Especially in college. And if he wouldn’t have gotten hurt he would be considered one of the best to do it. He was that good. Salute for this one 🙏🏽
Definitely 💯
“He would be considered one of the best to do it” Woahhhh relax with that one 😂
I needed this interview. Jameer Nelson living testament of keep going n staying true.
My oldest Daughter Mom went to Chester High with him, they always had a Top Notch team in the U.S.
Jameer is a cool and humble dude. Used to play on the courts with him in Chester PA, even dropped him off at his crib a few times after we played. He was one of those dudes that played casually against us regular dudes, but turned into a monster against the real comp in HS and college. Him and Delonte West were nice at St Joe's in Philly too.
And he's not lying about playing the best player in Chester for 1500, he played a dude name Black Magic. We were all surrounding them as they played.
This was a great interview. Shout out to Meer. Shout out to Q too. He’s def been riding for the Magic and the city of Orlando. You’d think he’s from Orlando. 👌🏽
The Magic are the area team here in the Tampa Bay area. Jameer is without question one of the all time great Magic players on the court and off the court. Jameer is awesome.
Huge Jameer and Magic fan. This was great. My favorite Magic PG of all time.
My favorite basketball podcast by far, wide range of former players plus Q and D Miles are chill like they could have a beer with anyone and just hang out.
Magic fan here... Penny, D12, Tmac were great but Jameer will always be my favorite player
Late 2010s Magic team was so tough, Jameer Nelson was a stocky guard - it was unfortunate with the injuries they definitely could’ve gotten back to the finals had Dwight and Jameer stayed healthy. Salute!
You mean late 2000s
Man Jameer is a solid fantasy league PG. Won me a lot of games with his 3s, FT’s and assists
JNelson one of great interviews love how he draws you into the moment even from so far back
Jameer: I was out for a month straight after the college season, on the road getting awards
THE AWARDS:
2004 Wooden Award
the 2004 Naismith Award
The 2004 Bob Cousy Award
The Rupp Trophy
The Oscar Robertson Trophy and many more accolades, including being featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated & getting drafted 1st round 20th 🔥🔥
Magic legend for sure 💪🏾💪🏾
That story bout Q chasing Jameer had me crying 😂🤣🤣🤣
One of my favorite college players ever.. he was nice!
I got into the nba on the 2006-2007-2008 season while Jameer was at it and when Arroyo was still in the team. with the Hedos, Rashad L, JJ's, Howard, Peitrus, and many others. What a awesome player.
Those were the day's
Meer was a Savage in College & The Pros.
That Orlando Squad Almost Pulled it Off
True story jammer used to park his car down the street from his college across the street from a gas station. Think he had a Pontiac tinted out. Store attendance said he asked Jameer if he could sign some autograph for his grandson. Attendant told me Jameer brought a ton of items from St Joe’s and signed every single one of them, over 20 items for this old little guy. this was his senior year too. Dude said he was the most humblest young man you ever meet.
J Nelson and Delonte West was killing at St Joes.
Chester stand up 💪🏽💯
We need podcasts more often. Just like back in the day watching you guys play its a joy to watch you guys sit down and have these conversations with some of our favorites past and present.
“From outta St. Joes do” 😂😂😂 D Miles the goat I swear
😂😂💯
St. Joe's finest. He and Delonte West terrorized the NCAA tourney.
Watching St Joe's, LaSalle, Tempe, Drexel and Penn was marvelous in the 90's and early 2000s...now lol 😢
Fellow SJU Alum! Proud of Jameer and his story! THWND!!
Jameer just gave this podcast a boost
The 2007-2009 magics is the reason I became a warriors fan when Dwight Howard left. I loved the way they played
Me moms pops and big bro bumped into this man on our first ever trip to Disney at the Orlando airport Right after he was drafted. Seemed like Nobody knew who he was but soon as I saw him I tapped my dads hip and pointed him out. He was so humble and thurl… he took pics with us and signed our shirts! Mind you we from Philly (215) and used to be at city line ave watching him and dalonte go nuts at St Joes from the nose bleeds! He a Hof’r in my book idgaf lol
I saw Nelson's St. Joe's team play in the NCAA Sweet 16. Always liked him. The podcast is great.
i Agree Dwight should be top 75, he put the work in. best ball podcast easy im tapped in gz
I looked up to Jameer’s game back in college and knew this he was going to be special. Having him score 40 points and 20 assists to Dwight on 2k.
I’m happy to know a guard I looked up to is an honorable man and a good role model for his kids.
Chester stand up❤❤❤ home of the Brave Exit 6
I remember as a kid on ESPN and all you see is Jameer Nelson in Saint Joe’s
I feel like if Rashard & Hedo plays today, they might be surpass statistically & effectivity on what they did in their Orlanda Magic years.
My favorite player! I can't wait! Jameeeeeeeeeer Nelllllson!
Big Jameer fan since saint Joseph days. This was much appreciated.
Chester stand up!
Goat!! My fav player Jameer Nelson forever 14!
Jameer Nelson was Special - That was Orlando's Guy after Tracy McGrady left. Jameer Nelson with Dwight Howard gave us a special run with the Orlando Magic.
I remember that controversial decision because there was a shift in the momentum but we never were mad at our Guy Jameer Nelson - Losing never feels good especially after making it to the NBA FInals- In fact I was there courtside and met Rhianna and a lot of stars so Thank you Orlando Magic
I miss 2007, 2008, 2009 2010 era of the NBA young KD coming in , Melo and Bron wrecking the league prime Kobe and Magic had a wild team with prime Dwight and Jameer doin his thing wish I was still in this era 😢 plus i was in my 20s still lol and cellphones werent as advanced so we were more focused on games and details
I’m a Villanova alum and love and respect Jameer. He is one of the Big Five’s greatest.
Shoutout Jameer Nelson hood dude I use to see him at work all the time 💪🏾
Shoutout to Q and the blackest One for providing me endless entertainment during the pandemic
This is my favorite episode, as a Magic fan Jameer was the most underrated guard of his era. All love and respect
30 year Magic fan, watched nearly Every game of yours. So loved your work and leadership. Thank you sir.
That combo of him and Dwight Howard was dangerous. They had a good run. Shame that the biz broke them up.
My fav magic player! My man meer! Thx for the podcast Q n D
This was dope uncs !! We need Shannon Brown
My Boy Jameer Nelson
I remember the controversy, I believe “Skip to my Lou” was starting when they beat the Cav’s and went through the playoffs and Nelson came back and didn’t have a good final, Alston didn’t get no burn that series and they lost! It was said that Nelson messed up the team chemistry! However I respect his explanation on playing bcuz most of us never knew he went to all his teammates individually to ask if he should play!
One of my favorite PG’s to play for the Magic
Nelson is one of my favorite nba players ever
For months I was looking for a jameer Nelson interview. S/o Chester I remember them Williamsport vs cheater games
one of the most underrated PGs ever if you ask me. Dude was very solid and had a great career for being undersized
Jameer should be affiliated with the Magic Organization some way some how! The dude is so knowledgeable and keeps it 💯
J Nel! Chester, Pa’s finest. Good dude.
Y’all be having the guys on the pod. Bro was tuff 💯
Low Key Q one of the Best Podcaster’s rs out!

Yo YO YO! We liveee on location!! "He got his bucket cap with heeeem!" Great episode from my favorite podcast.🏆
Another Great interview...blessing...
Love Jameer, definitley was a solid PG. I understand why he didn't bring up AI dropping 60 against him his rookie year...... he probably still having nightmares 😂😂
I was already saying that would be his answer to "Who bust yo ass"
This episode Legendary already!
Never Commented Before, I Love You Brothers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I'm an OG KNUCKLEHEAD!
I have been following my guy Nelson since St Joseph

One of my favorite players growing up !

This was a great interview, definitely happy Jameer was a Nugget for a minute. Liked him in Orlandom
Jameer was one of my favorite players even before the NBA
Jameer Nelson was that guard who u didn’t know was he fat or strong but he played hard and was a solid guard for a long time …
Skip 2 my Lou did better in the playoffs run in the starting line up in Orlando. I seen it with my own eyes growing up as a Dwight guy during his heyday.
