This is my favorite interview because it's simply good to hear from Glen Robinson. He was never given hie just due by the media.
One of my most favorite college ball players of all time. His influence went beyond the hood because I was a young teen from the county in VA amd I couldn't wait for "Big Monday" and Saturday afternoons to check for Big Dog. He had the juice
College basketball in the 90s swag went in this order:
1. UNLV Larry Johnson
2. Michigan Fab 5
3. Purdue Glenn Big Dog
Add that Georgia Tech team with Lethal Weapon. Kenny Anderson, and 3-D Dennis Scott. And the Illinois team with Nick Anderson, Bardo, Marcus Liberty, and Kendall Gill.

It wasn’t. I remember. The 90’s stylistically was much more hip hop influenced than the 80s. The 80s was much more stodgy and boring by comparison. And it seemed to happen overnight. Bobby Cremins at Georgia Tech was at the forefront with showcasing some great guard play.
I remember when I was a kid and I went into Candy Bens barbershop and glen was laying down on the couch, I was like damn Rhys dude is tall, he Always gave back to Gary

Man, George Mcleod. Definitely a scorer. I patterned most of my perimeter game after Mr. Robinson. Turnaround, face up jumper, the slight fade, quality post moves. By far one of my favorite players, Mr. Robinson.
Yeah man! Big dog was the best I saw at that jumpstop catch and shoot. I remember practicing it as a kid trying to do it as smooth as him, catching it then going straight up for the shot.
