I think I like q and d more than all the smoke. They just seem so much more relaxed and chill.
They talk about the game. I prefer that.
How?
@@masteroneal they talk about the game from the standpoint of a fan
😂😂 ironic because they’re supposedlyblowed on up in smoke 😂😂
All the smoke is much more commercial lol
The crossover episode we never knew we needed. My 3 fav podcasts hosts in one episode
My boy Q kept interupting JJ. He wouldnt let him talk. My goodness it was frustrating to watch. JJ was getting frustrated towards the second half of it.
Factssss
Approach these as conversations instead of interviews.
@@jaseallenson316 man he does that a lot I get he be excited but damn 🤦🏿♂️
@@jaseallenson316 just a lil too excited talkin to his former teammate lol
JJ talking about his training in the offseason shows how much work you have to put in to be a good player in the league and to also stick around in the league for at least a decade.
And fans want to say " they get paid to play a game"
White guy was the reason he stuck around..he’s a joke in thenhardwoos
People just don't know.. JJ was a baller!!
Full time job!
Facts !
I love how D Miles always gets his flowers. It ain’t just about the nba stats and superstardom. Hoopers know hoop.
Facts
JJ was one of the last college superstars. By that I mean the guys that weren't one and done
Yup. I miss the old college BB. First NCAA basketball game I played was always duke bc they were #1 lol. Mfs exact likeness on video games & didn't get paid 😑 tbh I rarely watch it anymore. they change players too often.
On that note I'm shocked they haven't brought back to rule of going straight outta high school.
Only reason it ever changed was bc of greedy money hungry colleges, that couldn't give a f about the players. As proven by making millions selling jerseys with their number likeness etc & not giving broke students a dollar smh.
Of course they also waited until the dollar tanked in value.
They need to give Reggie his fkn Heisman back that shit is a disgrace. 1000s of players have gotten compensated & he's the only one punished? Lol joke. Coming from a Texas fan too. #hookem
It’s not players fault that they are too good to stay in college for 4 years , Jj reddick wouldnt have made it if he didn’t stay for 4 years Jj needed the 4 years.
It might be coming back wit the NIL deals maybe some college players stay at least 2 or 3 years if they aren't projected lottery picks
Steph, jimmer, trae,just a few
@@God4FT3R trae was one and done i thought? And Steph had a huge conference and ncaa tournament. Neither were multiple year superstars
My Coach used to tell us about JJ I'm from Richmond VA he said" if you're not stepping on his feet you aren't close enough to him" JJ was a God in HS bro... pulling up from half court on the regular! He was different!!
From Richmond va also and mane I remember those days. He was the truth. Still remember when he played Wythe. Broke our Richmond Southside hearts mane lol
No he wasn’t pulling up from half-court🤥🧢🤥. I played against him for 3yrs in high school
Volleyball line, I played in the same district as well, (Glass)
I really believe JJ will be a big time NBA executive one day. His knowledge of the game is crazy.
Prob but not blike he needs to work, he obviously loves being around the game..most would chill n enjoy free time
Or maybe head coach!
JJ Redick gave me buckets in AAU. He was UNREAL.
lmao
🧢
@@meatspin.why is that cap? Lol. If you played AAU ball it's not uncommon to play against future NBA players. . I played AAU and played against Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Marvin Williams, Rashad Mccants, and a few others.
@@RayCash826 fact!! I’m played against John Wall, AD, Aquille Carr, M Teague, Stevie Taylor, Trey Burke, etc. You’re right, you play against the best of the best in AAU
@@RayCash826 Real ballers know bro you ain't got to explain to people who don't know how the basketball community works I played in High-school and in the underground rec ball play bro I played against oversees players d-leaguers and especially college-level talent its definitely possible in auu play to play against future pros
Shoutout Carlos Delfino what a name drop!!
Never clicked so fast!!
Me neither
Stopped my whole scroll lol
FACTS.!!!!!🤦🏾♂️😂😂😂
Factssssss I was looking for something
Same. I hear so many players hate Duke and their players, but they respect this man.
Lifelong Tarheel fan that had a borderline hate for this dude. His senior night was beautiful lol. But, I have so much respect for this guy as he progressed as a ballplayer and his transition away from the game to his current career is something to definitely celebrate and admire.
Can we have a part 2 because JJ hasn't really talked about his NBA career too much
“Man We liiiiive on location!”
Absolutely Love this show. Now besides solid NBA players you guys have all become great podcasters too. the NBA talk is in great hands. Keep up the great work Knuckleheads! ✊🏽🏀
They do a great job
Watched JJ Redick score 43 in the VHSL AAA State Championship game against George Wythe. Boy was pulling that thing from the Steph line.
He was like that
Man he destroyed us for years at Halifax😂
Volleyball line, we played in the same district, the coach used to say put a hand in his face as soon as he walks in the gym! 😂
I love how y’all spent more than half the show on his college experience! This was 🔥🔥 great job kings
What makes their show the best hoops podcast is they ask those in-depth behind the scenes questions no one would know.
@@threeteeflee that’s considering he had a long career to PLUS he got stories😊
🔥 🔥 🔥
Never thought that the first thing I'll listen here would be a Carlos Delfino s/o lol y'all are amazing, respect from Argentina ♥
Man as a Detroit Pistons fan, it was cool hearing his name again
@@antoineb9371 and he's still playing! he won AmeriCup last year with the national team. It's a shame that injuries took the best years of his career.
That’s what I thought too. I knew him as a spot up specialist but his younger days he played like Rudy Fernandez
As a Bucks fan I love hearing about Delfino any chance I get haha
Could stand JJ at Duke….now, I LOVE him….much respect to JJ!!!!
If you could stand him then why say anything?? hahah
@@jeffmiller3499 obviously he meant he couldn't
I remember JJ was at one point the most hated player in the nation. He was torching every team!! He was like Steph curry at duke!! God i miss that era of college hoops. 😭😭
Q Rich will say, "tell me how it was..
then continue to talk for like 5 min and never let guest answer til then. Lol. That's my guy, tho! Lol.
I graduated 2003 from HS. Watching him while I played in HS was always exciting and he was a straight killer! He’s was ending dreams hahaha. You can tell he’s stand up and solid af. Taking some attributes from him to apply in my daily life. Let’s get it!!
Lmfao I love Q but damn that boy can talk!!! He’ll talk your ears off
Bro- I be thinking the same thang lol. He be talking over the guests- like ima ssk you a question and answer with you at the Sametime Lol..
Saaame! Let the guest talk, my g haha
On God be fucking the interview up sometime
This was the Q Rich episode featuring JJ Reddick 😂😂
He be in the way smh
He didn’t shut the fuck up lol
Can’t stop talking about himself smh let your guests talk Q. The heck
Yall 3 are my fav basketball podcasters
JJ intelligence And the way he expresses his love of basket-ball and put things into perspective is INCREDIBLE
D&Q so chilled and laid back and seem so Real nothing forced
D got low-key pissed about the college visit lol
But 100% correct. JJ is second to none.
Except for
The fact he foul mouthed Bob Cousy
@@creydadj nobody perfect
For real hoop heads, this is a treat
Absolutely
JJ cold blooded shooter… Great insight on basketball
I honestly didnt think J.J was gonna make the league.Thought he was another over hyped one dimensional great white hope Dukie.Dude proved me WRONG! He put in the work and it showed.Added to his game and built up his body.Much respect to J.J just for putting in the work and not depending on just his shot.
Goofy comment🤡
@@openranks4519 Thanks J.J
Kudos to JJ being the first guest to ever tell Q, "Hold on. Lemme finish." when Q does his obnoxious ass over-talking bullshit. 😂🤣
Exactly, no one is interested in Q’s Phoenix days or how much he thinks MJ is undisputed 🐐

feels like i've heard jjs path through so many lenses and it never gets old. so much respect
Jjs a treasure. His ability to recall things & overall memory is incredible. Him & no chill gil are the 2 best basketball minds in the game. The way they analyze & break it down is second to none imo.
Gilbert be talking out his ass. He’s full of shit 90% of the time. The nervous laugh he does is tell for those who don’t know the events he speaks of in real time.
gil? 🤨
@@OGSVN ……. Gilbert arenas
Tim Legler too.
@@dennisjr77 i know who gilbert arenas is. he’s 100% not one of the two best minds in the game. he has some good takes, but a LOT of what he says is bullshit loo
1:03:59 “My Off-Season’s were HARDER than the Season.” 🔥🔥🔥
If the games are harder than the practices or the season is harder than the off season.....you haven't been putting in work and should sign up to do something else.
of all the NBA podcasts, JJ's inlcuded, I like hanging out with Q and D.....I just glanced at the coments and saw All The SMoke brought up and not that i have anything against Barnes and JAckson but Q and D just seem so chill and love to laugh.
It meant everything to hear J.J say UNC gave him the business. 💯 #TARHEEL
One of my favorite players of all time.
Much respect to y’all for this one
1:03:58 that's why I love players' podcasts : talking about offseason workouts, pre-game routines, time management. All these reps makes the game a lot easier.
So cool hearing JJ talk about Roanoke. S/o my hometown ❤
This episode got me through the day thank you guys so much for bringing jj on the pod
JJ rules! Glad y’all had him on! Love show and you you fellas Q and D. Miles! Love from NC!
Great freaking episode guys! Never even knew jj had a podcast and he’s a good speaker. Loved it when jj turned the tables and got Q and D to talk about themselves. Y’all need to do more of that. Keep up the good work guys! 👊
Ahhhh Better Basketball. Literally got me from getting cut from JV as a freshman to Varsity as a sophomore! Thank you Better Basketball. Praise be to Rick Torbett
I didn't know I needed this! 🔥🔥🔥
Dude was a great guest!! Another great show by the Knuckleheads!!
It would be interesting to hear/watch Gilbert Arenas & JJ Reddick talk shooting vs scoring vs work out styles vs dedication vs expectations vs success vs failure throughout high school college NBA & life after basketball
Great times watching bro. He’s in my top 5. Bro was automatic from everywhere.
Me too! Didn't know that I need this!
Jj made me a Duke fan back in the day. He was the man
finally ! been waiting for this collab !
This was great. JJ is the man and this pod is dope
Just recently came across this pod and love it. Plan on listening and catching up while at work.
Great hearing JJ's story, didn't know a lot of this. Really humanizes him and he is very open about his experiences.
Still locked in from Uganda East Africa!! Great interview can't wait to see them boys on JJ's pod!
*This video is pure motivation! I needed this boost to kickstart my day and tackle my goals head-on. Thank you for the inspiration!*
Great interview! JJ definitely a legend
Love these guys. Shout out to JJ
What an incredible interview! The talk about how the wives say the most profound things… so damn true.
Shout out to J.J!!! Has great takes on the league and does a great job!! Shout out to Q and Darius for doing an awesome job with their show!!
JJ is the best! Always great to listen too #heart
This is major 🔥🔥🔥
Sheesh Q, let my boy talk 😂
I like the dynamic of Q and D but I do wish Q would turn it down just a little bit, because D always got some good questions and insight and let’s the podcast flow better
Cant lie as an Orlando Magic!! We live on location!! 2 Magic greats JJ n Q!! MagicTogether PureMagic MagiKelle Fultz should be next
JJ will always be my favorite Duke player!
Love the podcast but Q needs to work on collecting his thoughts before asking questions. This is why teleprompters are used. They eliminate rambling. It’s not a knock but just an observation. Still love the show.
That Duke story Q told bout how the fans are was funny as hell I could picture the whole scene 😂😂😂
Fantastic episode and interview, boys. Good shit!
JJ Redick is still #1 in my heart! #DUKENATION Great listen!
Newfound respect for JJ after this episode 💯
Great episode !!!
Such a great interview 🙏 👏
JJ Reddick is himothy I’m glad I enjoyed his greatness while he was in the league.
Facts he a bucket fr
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 great show
Nice interview fellas 👏. I used to hate JJ at Duke 😆 but he seems like a cool dude and is great on TV/Podcast
True on the “better basketball “ shooters. Ray Allen, JJ….. perfect form shooters!!!!!
Nice to see these cats really supporting each others shows
My favorite college basketball ball player, and most famous college basketball player.
At 11:20.... U can tell D-Miles is still mad about that visit to DePaul 💯💯😂🤣
I hated Duke for years until JJ got there. He made me watch Duke through his whole college career!! There was no question that JJ Reddick was one of the best college players ever and he had a solid NBA career as well.
I was at the game he had 40 on 13 shots! First Duke game I ever went to. My dad took me, he graduated from Duke in the 70’s. One of the most magical most insane experiences of my life. Cameron was so loud I couldn’t hear myself think. Thank you JJ for that incredible performance. I’ll never forget it. I remember being bummed you missed a free throw 😂
PS I fully remember the shoulder acne and I’m just as disturbed you didn’t win a national championship as you are. I cried. I live in Louisiana so all my LSU obsessed friends ripped on me and I actually took on some of the hatred mostly meant for you.
It’s crazy when your an ncaa player of the year and go to the nba and be a bench players. It’s crazy, makes me appreciate the players who made that high school to nba jump. JJ is a duke legend for sure tho.
Great to hear Delfino name, so a quality player
fantastic show 👏
Haven't watched it yet but I already know this is gonna be another good one
Am I the only one loves this podcast but just HAS to tune in for that infamous first question... "Who was the first person to bust yo ass!" 🤷🏿♂️
Bobby Knight is the reason for coach K. Don’t forget coach K stood on the shoulders of giants as well.
JJ really a duke legend!
Q-Rich: *Yo, Yo, Yo we live on location, with the Blackest 1 D-Miles*
D-Miles: *Who was the first person to bust yo a*s*
The 2 best podcasts
George Lynch and wrestler Tony Atlas are also from Roanoke. I spent a lot of time, with my family there. Melrose and Crescent
q rich be messing the interviews up! bro just ask your question and let the guests answer. stop cutting them off
I love this podcast
Great interview. The knuckleheads ask the right question. You never hear about JJ Redick’s DUI. But the knuckleheads get all the great info lol
As good as these interviews are- it's really annoying to constantly hear Q Rich cut off the interviewees and make the interview about his career.
It literally happens every episode.
Bro I say the same thing, his questions turns into mini stories and shit
Stop watching it
Thank you!!!!!!
I was beginning to think something was wrong with me!!! Its ridiculous for the host to over talk and out talk the guest episode after episode.
that's my only knock....my guy jus has no awareness🤷🏿♂️
Fact
Great show!
The best first question in sports podcast 🤜heads
Had to go back and watch JJ gametapes... boy was lighting shit up!!
Hated Redick but have the upmost respect for the dude as a player .. UNC all day tho!
- THIS WAS MAJOR I CANT LIE
JJ musta been vacationing somewhere nice, cuz he aint been doin games and my boys face is flush as hell! hope you enjoyed the break JJ!
Before curry JJ was my favorite basketball player and favorite shooter he was just pulling up from anywhere🔥💪🏽
Ohhhh I went crazy when you showed love for Carlos Delfino! Naturally, everyone thinks of Manu when they think of Argentina basketball. But Carlitos has to be up there with his talent and grace. Funny thing, Delfino still balling in the professional Italian basketball league!
So.....y'all just ain't gon' drop ANY wack episodes, huh? 😂 great work, fellas. I appreciate the pod more & more after every episode. Keep it up, we need it
